Everything we expected of a little cozy cottage- in-the-woods was there.. warmth from a big wood fireplace, breakfast choices, nestle coffee capsules aplenty, sleepy soothing yoga music CDs! Kookaburras gave us a gentle wakeup call each morning, and oh, to top it all of.."Bambi" made a stopover on day2..just magical!

We absolutely loved it. It is such a romantic cottage, beautifully designed and so thoughtfully organised so that we had all we needed. Every item looks special and chosen with love. It was wonderful to have a fireplace, the bedroom is very cozy and the little balcony allows you to feel immersed in the middle of the forest. We highly recommend it.

It would be good to have a USB adaptor. Also we’d recommend to have a handrail along the whole line of steps leading towards the cottage. The steps can be slippery. Otherwise, an excellent holiday place.

The location was perfect. walking distance to both Mt Dandenong and Olinda. Yes it’s on the main road but we were so relaxed we didn’t notice the traffic noise. The place was spotless and so warming. Breakfast was great and the upstairs bedroom and ensuite was super cute and comfy. The bed was firm but large and the ensuite was roomy, with a shower over the spa bath being practical in the space. Nice to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy a cuppa. We totally enjoyed the privacy and will be back.

Nothing to not like, it was home away from home

We loved the atmosphere & calm energy this cottage provides. We couldn’t help but feel relaxed. The trees & birds that surrounded the cottage was pure bliss. Our host was amazing & provided us with everything we needed to make breakfast every day. Pia was great to communicate with & we would definitely like to return in the future.

No oven & the shower water pressure was sometimes low, but these were only minor and we would definitely still return.
