We have had the best vacation in a wonderfull place

Very nice apartment, clean, beautiful servies. Furniture is dated, old . Ther is no sunumbrella near the pool

This is a comfortable, very clean two bedroom apartment with stunning sea views - just a little more than a 20 minute walk into Praia da Luz. It has a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds (we only used the master bedroom), dining area and a modern, beautifully finished bathroom with a large shower. The apartment has access to a large heated pool out back which serves only 7 units so while we were there we usually had it to ourselves. There is a small balcony off the master bedroom and a veranda off the dining area. We had breakfast on it every morning soaking in the views and the sun. We occasionally had lunch or dinner on it too. The short walk into town gives you easy access to numerous restaurants, bars and shops as well as other amenities too. We will certainly stay here again if it’s available on our next trip to this amazing country.

We loved our month long stay at this beautiful property! It was a perfect location…just on the edge of Luz. We loved exploring Luz and nearby Lagos. We enjoyed great live entertainment and delicious restaurants very nearby. Our two faves were The Dolphin & Alloro…Kelly’s was good too. Richard was an amazing host and answered all our questions so quickly. We would love to return in the future!

We had another wonderful stay at this lovely ocean view apartment! Love the new glass panels on the balcony for an even more stunning view. We keep coming back to this bright and airy apartment - it is comfortable and clean and the well-equipped kitchen makes it fun to cook our own meals. Just a short walk to the beach and coastal trails, and restaurants and shops in town. We were surprised at how warm it is in Praia da Luz in December and had only a bit of rain now and then. Thanks to Richard for his prompt and helpful communication and for always making our vacation in Praia da Luz so enjoyable.

Great property in Luz. Fantastic views from the balconies and we were greeted with beautiful sunrises each morning. Apartment is very nice and the pictures and description describe accurately. Richard the owner was easy to communicate with and was very responsive when contacted. The garden and pool area is lovely and well maintained. Easy walk to restaurants, markets and beach. Hope to be back one day. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful ocean view in a very quiet location. With windows open, a gentle breeze was moving through condo, resulting in no need to turn on the a/c.

Apartment had everything you needed for a chilled out holiday.views over the atlantantic brilliant.pool was lovely and warm.Bonus for me was garden and wildlife.

The apartment was exactly as advertised. The view from the balconies over the sea was amazing and the pool beautifully warm due to solar heating. Shower( no bath) was great, bed very comfy and the kitchen very well equipped . We didn't use the TV so can't comment but WiFi was very good. It took us(65+ age group) about 25 minutes to walk into Praia . It is quite a climb coming back but it does get easier! One return walk a day was enough for us, so chose evening when cooler. We took the car half way any other time. Lots of lovely restaurants in Praia and a beautiful beach.

We had a lovely stay in Richards apartment, we found it to be very clean, with everything you could need for your stay. The pool is heated via solar panels which was an added bonus, its a lovely size and quite deep which is great for older children. There are a couple of residents in the apartment block of 7, which we found very friendly. You are situated around 20 min walk into Luz, which has a few shops to get essentials, and places to eat out, mainly fish, pizza or pasta. The sunbeds on the beach are £16 euros to hire for 2, which we though a little expensive as we would only be there for a couple of hours, so take beach mats, it was quite blustery all week when we stayed so could also have done with a wind break. Richard very approachable and helpful, any questions he had he was very responsive, thank you Richard.

The property was clean. The view was great. The area was very pretty with access to everything you need. There was some construction on the adjoining apartment that wasn't much of a problem as we were usually up before they started, but it was unexpected. Otherwise it was a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Praia da Luz a lot and can fully recommend the apartment and also Richard as a host. The apartment is beautiful, bright and clean and everything we needed for a good time we found there in very good condition. From the terrace - and also the living- and bedroom you have stunning views over the sea and coastline. Also, there is sun almost all day long. The city center of Praia da Luz and the beach are about a good 15-minute walk away. There you find a lot of opportunities to go for dinner and also find shops. Richard as a host is very polite, uncomplicated and answers fast if something is needed. Thanks again for this wonderful holidays.

We really enjoyed staying at Richard's apartment which is very good located in a calme and beautiful place. Very clean, modern and fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy relaxed vacation. Richard informed us about places to visit during our stay and I must say that it was worth it and we loved it. Will try to come back soon again.

The perfect place to stay in Praia da Luz - breathtaking ocean views, walking distance to gorgeous beach, town restaurants, shops and oceanside walking paths. We enjoyed dining alfresco on the terrace, swimming in the large pool. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. We loved our stay in this apartment. It was very well equipped with everything to make our stay memorable. The view is exceptional both from the balcony and the pool area. The 20 minute walk along the beach path was perfect to earn your self a chilled glass of wine at one of several beach cafes. A beautifully calm and tranquil location.

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig aber nah zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten, interessanten Punkten sowie der Promenade in Luz mit den verschiedenen Restaurants und Bars. Eine schöne Wanderung an der Küste entlang kann man vom Haus aus nach Burgos unternehmen, um sich dort in der Strandbar für den Rückweg zu stärken. Mit einem Auto sollte man auf jeden Fall die Strände westlich und am Atlantik erkunden. Ein besonderes Highlight ist ein Fadoabend im Restaurant "O Cangalho" neben dem Zoo von Lagos (Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich). Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist hochwertig mit allen technischen Geräten, die benötigt werden. Der traumhafte Blick vom Balkon auf den beheizten Pool und das Meer entspricht den Bildern und kann auch abends mit Sonnenuntergang genossen werden. Wir haben die Woche in dieser wunderschönen, sauberen Wohnung sehr genossen und würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Praia da Luz is quiet in February. It was bright, dry and sunny but chilly at night and in the wind. We therefore didn't make use of the pool. The property is well equipped and presented. The Netflix was welcome for a winter stay. We did experience a major area power failure on the last night which made preparing for our early morning departure a bit tricky but this was rectified after an hour and a half.

Lovely,clean, bright apartment with everything you need. As a personal choice though, I would've liked air conditioning in the bedroom rather than the lounge. The views from the balcony were fantastic. There are some great walks along the cliffs to explore. And a bus ride away from the bustling town of Lagos. There are loads of fab restaurants and cafes in both Luz and Lagos. We didn't have a car but the 15min walk into Luz didn't bother us, although it's quite a pull up the hill back with groceries! Richard was extremely accommodating and helpful.

The apartment was superb, clean modern & very well furnished. The view was beautiful & all within a short walk to the beach, shops & restaurants. The pool area is very impressive our children had hours of fun . The apartment is very well maintained with all the amenities you could need to ensure a comfortable stay. Looking to book again for next year, can’t wait to go back would highly recommend. 👌🏻

The apartment, the pool, the location and the views are all amazingly great. It could have been a great holiday. However, the apartment next door is currently being renovated, so from 0830 to around 1800 there was constant banging, drilling, sawing, unrelenting noise that just goes straight through you. If that wasn't bad enough, after a few days the apartment below began laying new floor tiles, more banging, sawing, cutting etc. And, the whole apartment block was being painted, whilst that wasn't noisy, it didn't look good and we felt we were holidaying on a building site. We lasted as long as we could but ended up moving for our last 3 days to Estrela De Luz aparthotel following recommendation from Richard, the owner, who was very apologetic and refunded over half our money, he'd been told the noisy building work was over. Our view? We should have been told beforehand and given the option to cancel our booking and with the benefit of hindsight, we definitely would have.

What a find! 1) The Location: Luz is our idea of a perfect local! 1 hour west of Faro in a small town within a few minutes of all sort of fabulous sites! Sarges is only 20-30 minutes west! We prefer small villages and towns where one can get around without trouble, without traffic lights, walk if we chose! And Luz fit the bill perfectly! WE love Baptista Market .. just 5 minutes by car or if you go the uphill way about 20 minutes of slightly-challenging walk ..... BUT NOT SO FAST .... there is an easier walk! .... AND Baptista has an off-sight FISH MARKET, just across the parking lot of the market with a fish-monger, par-excellent! Try the custard tarts .... can you eat just one? 2) the Views: WOW! the views from the balcony are spectacular: 1st the pool area; then you overlook magazine-worthy villas (two new ones just below @ about 3.5- 4 Million pounds sterling); the the ocean; to the left huge cliffs which change constantly as the light and shade change. WOW! WAlk the trails along the ocean - PERFECTION! 3) the Unit: the unit is totally equipped! Everything we required was there and more! 4) the Host: Accommodating and more! as a previous renter mentioned, the neighbours were renovating which during the day-time and only during a day and a half of our stay, creating a vibrating din!!! (BTW ... Richard's neighbours arrived and informed us that none of the neighbours had been given fore-warning of this renovation!) BUT ... Richard made it right by sending us out to dinner at his expense!!!! OH- OH gotta mention this one: Fortaleza da Luz, one incredible restaurant! We loved this spot and would return in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately upon arriving at the apartment we realised that the adjoining flat was being totally refurbished so we suffered from 11 hours of building work a day! Richard, the owner, was great and immediately reimbursed us some of the rental so I won’t let that cloud my judgement. The property itself is situated in the suburbs of Luz and would normally be very quiet and surrounded by large villas (some still being built which is worth checking) and lush gardens. It’s quite a walk into Luz which was a struggle with a 2 and 7 year old and worth bearing in mind (there is plenty of parking in Luz if your not drinking). The pool was too cold for us but the weather wasn’t great and looks like it would be good closer to the main season. I’ve never stayed in such a well appointed holiday let - it had everything, it is furnished to a very high standard and is very spacious with a good sized terrace/balcony and another smaller one off the main bedroom all showcasing the apartments best feature which is the view of the ocean. I have really struggled with whether or not to give 5 stars but I think the unseasonably cold/wet weather and building work won’t allow me to! The flat itself probably deserves 5 stars so perhaps the loss of one is due to there being inconsiderate neighbours who choose to carry out building work during the Easter holidays!! Richard was also very helpful, quick to respond and friendly. John and family.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in this quiet and well equipped apartment. The weather in early November was great.
