It was very clean and comfortable and we would stay there again. The owners were easy to get in touch with and very nice.

The condo was clean and well stocked. The location was great to walk to the snorkel beach or jog on Ali’i. Lou was very responsive to any communication. We would be happy to return one day.

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing condo - it was very clean, had everything we needed (supplies, beach stuff), beautiful landscape and was in a convenient location. It was our first time to Big Island and we absolutely loved our stay.

Everything great, lots of fans to cool the place.

Our stay was great. The location was very convenient to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island as well as Kailua/Kona which has lots of restaurants and shops. Since there is no AC we purchased a fan to add to the supplied fans to cool down the condo. This worked fine once all the windows were opened. The owner was very responsive to our requests/questions and we were very happy with the cooperation.

Place was spacious and washer and dryer was wonderful to have. BBQ on own lanai was nice. Condo was HOT!!! No A/C so sleeping was not fun and there are stairs leading down to the condo which was a challenge for one in our party.

My wife and I met our daughter for her Spring Break from UH. The setting on the golf course was very nice and quiet. The condo was spacious and very nicely apportioned. The condo has all the extras you will need. The kitchen was great and had all the kitchen tools we required for our 5 days stay. The owners were very responsive and answered any questions quickly. We were close to the bay were we went on the manta ray cruise which was nice as well. There was no air conditioning, but lots of ceiling fans so after a day, our northern blood got used to the warmth and it was nice. Highly recommend and we would stay again!

Missing a/c in the bedrooms at least - our stay was hotter climate than normal - Kona in a drought should have been a little cooler but we are not complaining about that! This unit was a walk out to the pathways on the property but at parking level you have a hefty flight of stairs - If travelling with disabled friends you have to consider that. we would have chosen a 2nd floor unit that put us at the parking level instead...and would have possibly given us a peek at the ocean - all we could see from the unit - while seated - was hedge and a glimmer of the Tee Box on number 8. Manta Ray excision a must for those that visit.

I didn’t realize this property didn’t have air conditioning (I now realize it’s less common here but had no idea to check that when I reserved this condo) and we just sweated through our entire stay. We used the provided fans and opened windows and closed shades at appropriate times but every night all 6 of us tossed and turned because we were so hot. We had planned to spend a lot of time hanging around during the day, but it was just too hot. It was a shame because otherwise this property really was nice. Very clean, well maintained, and a good location. Had it not been so hot this would have been an easy 5/5 stars. So many nice beach accessories provided for use, and the kitchen was excellent for a family. We also used the lanai extensively! Also worth noting that the second bedroom has a floor to ceiling bike rack not pictured in listing photos which made it hard to put the two pack and plays we needed in that room.

Brought my mother, wife and two kids (1 & 3 years old). The condo is located on the lower level where the lanai patio meets the well taken care of park like grounds. It was great because the kids could run around through the condo onto the grass. There seemed to be a good amount of privacy on the lanai. A few older folks walked by on occasion but mostly had the entire backyard to ourselves. Pool is not far away and we could watch the golfers tee off at the adjoining course. Condo itself was clean roomy and comfy. Would def recommend to those with small families.

We love staying at this condo. Kitchen nicely furnished, nice grill, nice printer. We enjoyed having beach chairs and bicycles at our disposal as well as the surf board. Very enjoyable.

It is exactly 3 miles from the Magic White Sand Beach which is the perfect distance away from the more congested area. The condo is stocked with everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach: Umbrellas, chairs, sand mats, beach towels, coolers, snorkel gear, boogie boards, surf board and more. The condo has a bunch of travel guides, trail guides, snorkel guides, maps and other resources to help you make the most of your trip to the Big Island. We enjoyed the two bikes. Drivers are very considerate of pedestrians and many roads have a bike lane. The lanai is ground level and provides easy access to the pool and hot tub. Having a grill on the lanai was a bonus. Tons of amenities - everything you need for the beach. It’s a great place for a large family, there are tons of sleeping arrangements. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The Basslers were great hosts, they provided very thorough instructions, plenty of chairs, beach toys, a cooler and even offered bikes to use. The condo is beautiful on a great property in South Kona, next to a golf course. We loved our stay, wouldn’t change a thing.

You won't be sorry staying here! Checking in and out was a breeze. Lou and Carla thought of everything! We first booked our reservations at a local beach front hotel however, after considering how long we were staying and how covienent it would be to stay here and have the ability to cook for ourselves , do laundry when needed, have an extra bed cause we needed, and a extra bathroom that we needed, the option to grill out any time, not pay daily parking fees and still be close to the beach it just made sense for us to stay here. And we really appreciated the privacy. It was nice and quite. Very clean, and well kept. Communication with the owners was great and easy on the few times I did reach out. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need for cooking , including spices untensels, dishes , dishwasher and cookware. All the beach stuff you can think off , chairs umbrellas and two board boards, two bikes and the grill works great too! And the lanai is nice to sit on in morning hours and have coffee. Oh, and laundry detergent is provided!! If there is one thing we noticed it would be that it did pretty warm at night and we stuggled with trying to get comfortable without AC but they do have fans in every room along with ceiling fans so that it's tolerable. We were not there during the day as we were out and about enjoy the island. But we would definitely stay here again. Really enjoyed the space...very comfortable... felt like being at home instead of a hotel because there was some much space and it had all the things your home would have. 🤗❤️Loved it. Wonderful property. Well stocked. Everything one could need for cooking and playing. We enjoyed our stay! Hopefully will be able to stay here again!

Great property totally as advertised. Will definitely stay here again when we decide to come back to Hawaii. We stayed there when the Coronavirus was just starting the airlines were changing their schedule daily. Carla totally worked with us we probably had 15 text back and forth she's very supportive it was a rough time. Thank you very much Carla.

The owners were very responsive and helpful: quick to answer questions and made sure we received all info (which had gone to junk mail folder). The convenient location at the South end of town is good for avoiding the bulk of traffic along Alii Dr, and it's quick to take K3 up to the main highway. The condo had almost everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the super soft comfortable beds, pillows, sheets and towels. The fully stocked kitchen had a dishwasher, rice maker (and rice!), Ziploc bags, reusable containers, shopping bags, and ice packs. The only thing we didn't find was a plug for the sinks. There's lots of beach gear (coolers, folding chairs, boogie boards, umbrella). We appreciated the assortment of guidebooks - especially the snorkel book (which rates all sites and provides great directions), and the fish identification book. There's also a nice variety of artwork... we kept noticing different things every day! The lack of A/C wasn't an issue - we just turned on the fans and let air circulate through screen doors at night. Would definitely recommend!

The property is beautiful. The condo is very quiet/peaceful and came fully equipped with all the necessities you need and everything was exactly as their VRBO listing detailed. The internet was fast and dependable. Cell phone service is limited because of the cement construction of the condos but there were landlines available for our use. (Just made me work less...haha!)

The condo was very well maintained and had everything you could possibly need. If there were people staying in the unit above us, we couldn't tell. It was super quiet and very convenient to everything. If you're looking for a nice, restful place to stay, this is it!
