Everything. Vagelis was an extremely accommodating and friendly host. He made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our stay by going above and beyond, he helped us with shopping, teaching basic Greek and cooking some of the nicest food Mourteri has to offer. The location was beautiful with a stunning seaside veiw and mountains in every other direction. Also Vagelis' dog, Luna, is the best dog we have ever met, she regularly joined us in the morning, evening and on our walks. She has been trained very well and is super friendly! We couldn't recommend this place enough.

Leaving, we wish we could have stayed longer.

We liked everything very much! The host was super nice and the handover of keys was without any problems. The apartment was clean and the wifi worked fine. Last but not least, there were two lovely dogs that made our stay even more special.

Only drawback is that they use solar for heating water for shower and we were not lucky for sunny days enough

Perfect place!

The view from the room it's fantastic, the terasa, possibility to be on the beach in 1 minute, the wind on the evening. Mr. Vagelis very nice and all the staff. If you want breakfast they serve you at 7 euros with what you need.

Mattress could be improved, I had some back pains.

Amazing view from the apartment. You can hear the waves clearly all day and night. Everything you need is there and it is very clean. Stuff is nice and helpful. We had perfect stay!

Everything was great

Very well situated in a quite spot along the stretch of Mourteri beach. Rooms are very well taken care of, fully equipped & fresh looking and are built directly opposite the sea, with an amazing view of the Aegean Sea. The owner is super kind & helpful; lodging also comprises a bar-restaurant as well as sunbeds directly opposite the main road.

Cant really think of much. Some shade on the parking spots would be nice to ease the burning summer sun; maybe a couple of trees would do the trick :-)

An unforgettable, travel experience in a gorgeous, serene place on Evoia island! We loved the serenity of Mourteri, stunning Aegean views, accommodation was absolutely wonderful, fully equiped, neat and affordable, the sea just by our doorstep and wifi was amazingly speedy. Kind owners, cozy and family atmosphere provided by my Ms Soultana, the heart of Villa Vagelis and her son, Vagelis. You can also grab a bite at the restaurant or explore other restaurants around the area- all of them provide delicious food and reasonable prices. We loved everything and cannot wait to go back again! Highly reccommended for all types of travellers :)

Cannot think of anything negative!

Exceptional place and perfect host. Worth to visit if you want relaxed atmosphere with mostly local people. Pebble beach which is easy to access, clean and open sea. I visited off-season during covid time so a lot of local restaurants were closed. The owner runs a small bistro with snacks and ice cream.

We liked every single thing in this awesome place! Incredible hosts, nice, ready to help, respecting your privacy. Our sincere thanks to the owner Vagelis and his lovely mother kiria Sultana! The apartment is very clean, equipped with all things you need, even with some sewing accessories into the locker. There are enough plates, kitchen utensils, all you need to cook a meal. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with soap and shampoo, incredible terrace with the best direct sea view you can imagine. We did not make pictures by our own for this review, because all the pictures in the portfolio of this place are true. You can use the umbrellas and sunbeds in front of the property all day just with buying a drink from the bar. Also, it is not obligatory and you can go sunbathing wherever you want, because there is plenty of free space on that beach. There is also a private parking lot at the backyard which is free of charge and your car is perfectly secure. Keep in mind that you need a car if you need to go shopping, because the property is on the beach, but the village called Orio is 6 km away. The closest supermarket Kretikos (in the village Hania) is 10 km and about 15 minutes away by car. For us it was not a problem at all, because we were deliberately searching for the most private place directly on the beach and we have fallen in love with Mourteri. Staff contacted us and told that they lost electricity during storm and offered refund. But we came anyways and got back electricity, and our stay was nice. View must be amazing in summer.

Storm outside was super loud, but that is not their fault.
