In general the place is incredible big compare to photos. Location is excellent and staff very helpful.

Andrea and his family were the most amazing hosts. The apartment is off the beaten track yet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. will forever remain our first choice to stay in when in Venice.

The property located near San Samuele and 12min walk to San macro square, very cosy and very spaces bed and living room, comfortable bed and lovely kitchen. will definitely recommend to friends and family for this property

A lovely bright apartment with all facilities that I needed. As I was there for a week I appreciated the good cooking facilities and the washing machine. Lovely terrace too. As my flight had been delayed and I arrived in the dark I really appreciated Andrea meeting me at the vaporetto stop.

The main concern was the main electric fuse tripping three times during my stay. The first time there were only a few lights on so I definitely hadn't overloaded the system. This indicates a problem with the electricity system. The presence of instructions on how to reset the system shows that this is a regular problem. As someone with many years experience in fire safety, the assurances from the host that the building is recently refurbished were not enough. Fires happen in new and old buildings and one of the functions of fuses is to warn of problems. As a minimum the apartment needs some smoke alarms.

Andrea and Emanuela were very helpful. The room is very nice and clean and updated. Very well located a short walk from the Basilica di San Marco and the Doge's palace and other attractions. The are lots of good places to eat nearby as well as groceries (alimentari) to stock the kitchen.

This is a brilliant apartment. The hosts were extremely helpful, both with information before we arrived and with tips for the local area when they met us at the apartment. It’s a central location close to the Grand Canal, with many shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The apartment was extremely well appointed, with great facilities, including a lovely terrace, comfortable beds and an excellent standard of cleanliness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The hosts were great, Andrea met us at the taxi boat to hand over the keys and was so helpful! Recommended places to eat and helped with any questions we had throughout our full stay, the apartment was lovely and clean, in great central location. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 😊

The rooftop terrace was the main highlight of the stay! Incredible 360 views of the San Marco neighbourhood. Air conditioning was very good and the apartment very comfortable.

Maybe an umbrella for the sun would be nice in the rooftop, to be able to enjoy it more in the heat of the summer.

This unit was very updated and the finishes were very nice. The bathroom was excellent with a nice rainfall shower head as well as a detachable hand held one. We also took advantage of the in room washer to launder clothes as we were on an extended trip. The small kitchen has most everything you would need to make a simple meal. Host provided coffee and some breakfast items already which was nice. The air conditioning in the unit is from a mini split system and kept the unit extremely cool which was a welcoming touch. The bed was comfortable to sleep on and even had little reading lights if you had a book to read in bed. There was good storage for your clothes in the bedroom as well. Another positive we found was a few English channels that play some older TV shows/movies on channel 22 and 27. The location was good. Close enough to the main sights but not too close to where you walk out the door and have to elbow people out of the way! Saving the best for last--the rooftop! Though it was shared with some students who lived in the building according to the host, we did not see anyone up there during our stay. It was so quiet on the rooftop, hearing the bells of the churches ring, the roofs of the city, the sun setting and the moon rising was priceless.

The unit was located up 61 steps with no elevator. The rooftop was up another 20-30 steps. Also, the power went out during our stay and had to go down to the ground floor to reset the breaker, which was a quick fix. There was also some construction going on outside the building. They weren't noisy early in the morning or late but one day when we slept in the noise was noticeable.

The apartment was in an excellent location, and had everything needed. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The hosts were also very nice and helpful too.

In my case, i had parents with me who had mobility issues, so walking up and down the stairs was bit of a letdown but as i understood lifts/elevators are not so common in Venice so cannot complain :)

Location and views were incredible from the roof top patio area

The flat is located in the center of the city yet in an alley apart from touristic turmoil. Nevertheless, restaurants, cafes, shops and stops for vaporettos are in very close distance. Also hotspots like Academia bridge or St. Mark's square can be reaches easily by foot. Upon arrival at the stop San Samuele a family member picked us up guiding us to the flat and explaining everything needed to enjoy a relaxed stay. Thanks again for everything.

Location was great and a 15 minutes walk to most major attractions

Hot water heater wasn’t very big and the third and fourth person taking a shower didn’t have much hot water.

It's a bit hard to find, and surrounding locations are a bit dark - not the fault of the host, of course!

We went here for our anniversary weekend and the property did not disappoint! Excellent location in such a quiet and beautiful part of San Marco, with walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see. A great roof terrace where we had our breakfast every morning with a view over the city. Would come back without hesitation!

Only negative thing we can think of must be the beds being slightly too short for my boyfriend 😂

Too many stairs for us. It would have been better to have known the number as stairs as we would probably have sought someplace else.
