The place was incredible. I mean, I felt like I had stepped back in time as an aristocrat or something : ) Our host, Alexandra, was out of this world amazing! Her communication was always very quick - the pilot light for the heater had gone out and we were freezing for the first part of the first night we were there. She sent someone to the place to make sure it got handled quickly. Then, when we left, my dad left his vest that had his inhaler in it. She mailed it out the next day and got it to our next place we were staying before we had to leave and head up north. And she wouldn't let me pay her back! Seriously...the house was one of our most favorite places to stay in all of the places we've ever been to, but Alexandra made it EVEN BETTER. She was amazing!!!

The door/gate at the opposite side of the house could not be secured. Bad security risk to the premises. ( ie an intruder could enter easily)

Totally blown away with this property, it is absolutely stunning. Our family of 9 organised this as a surprise present for our Father’s 80th birthday. The house is spotlessly clean and the welcome hamper and Christmas tree were especially nice touches. It’s in a fabulous location and just a few minutes from the centre of town. We had the most amazing memorable time and would absolutely recommend this to anybody.

Stayed for a few days celebrating patents Golden wedding anniversary, beautiful property with loads of space to chill and relax. Very close to town centre, parks, castle. Have already recommended to friends

This is indeed a Georgian masterpiece. The house is spacious, very well equipped and beautifully furnished. We cooked, danced and then relaxed in the drawing rooms. It is a very short walk into Stirling and there are lots of nice places for a morning coffee or a spot of shopping. Of course a visit to the castle and the monument is a must.

Beautiful spacious property. Lovely princess bedroom which my 5 year old granddaughter fell in love with at first sight. Very thoughtful host with lots of extras left for us.

What an amazing property. This house was perfect for our family celebration (80th birthday). Plenty space for us all to spread out and a beautiful garden for our dog to run around in too. Being close to the centre of Stirling meant the car didn’t move the whole weekend we were there. A lovely welcome hamper / breakfast pack was a lovely touch and meant we were all set for the following morning. Will definitely be recommending this house to friends and family.

The property was great, giving so much room for our family of five! We spent as much time as we could in the spacious garden and my son loved playing with the massive football goals. The property was centrally located, only a 3 minute walk into the centre of Stirling, with loads of shops and great restaurants nearby for ease. Stirling was a fab location to be able to explore both southern Scotland as well as the Highlands on day trips.

We had the most wonderful stay with our family in this stunning house, with enough room for all of us, including our dog. We enjoyed dancing in the games room, playing in the beautiful walled garden, listening to records in the drawing room and watching Braveheart (of course!) in the TV room. The beds were so comfortable and we were blown over by the hosts' hospitality, with a hamper of food and drinks left for us on our arrival. The location was so perfect with great (dog friendly) gastro pubs within walking distance and perfectly situated to visit other places like Glasgow and Edinburgh and Lough Lomond. We love Scotland and its people and we hope to return soon! Thanks for everything.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful house which is perfectly situated only a couple of minutes from all the amenities of the city. The large, secure and private back garden provided us with a cool place to begin and finish each day. The house provided everything we could have wanted in a home from home - comfy beds, well appointed bathrooms and crockery etc. We would highly recommend this place - our grandchildren particularly enjoyed the music room for obligatory disco entertainment!

We rented this house as a celebration for my sister. The directions were perfect and Alexandria stayed in contact along the way making sure we had everything we needed. The house was perfect. We loved sitting by the fire with a gin, we loved the comfiness of the beds, the kitchen and dinning room were ideal for eating with a large group and of course we loved a dance in the music room. The house is perfect for walking into town and is very well equipped. Thank you very much for making our stay so special.

We loved our stay at this property! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. We lucked out with the weather and really enjoyed the big beautiful backyard as well. Couldn’t be more convenient - just a stroll from the train station and a lovely walk up to Stirling Castle.

The home was better than presented in the pictures. The property was HUGE with a backyard the size of a city park...the kids had a blast running around, and the home was still walking distance to the rail station and city center. Stirling was an ideal location for our day-trips to other parts of the Country, and Alex was so gracious with a assortment of welcome items in the kitchen and the home was fully stocked and so comfortable that we didn't want to leave. We've rented many homes and this was by far our best experience. Would strongly suggest this home and host.

Beautiful house with all the amenities. If you are looking for a place to set out on daily trips around the country, or stay in with a few guests... that is the place. Alexandra is a wonderful host who was in constant contact with us.

The location is perfect and very close to the heart of Stirling. We could walk to all of the restaurants and local stores. The house is elegant and very well maintained. My entire family loved the house and the spacious grounds. We particularly enjoyed the drawing room for after dinner games and conversation. We may go back to Scotland simply to spend more time in the home. I highly recommend this property for anyone spending time in Stirling.

This is a great holiday rental for larger families/groups. Highly recommend it. We definitely plan to stay again.

This property is very clean and spacious and had everything we needed and more— the perfect holiday rental!

This superbly equipped property was ideal for our 3 generation party. Also loads of space when family who lived nearby came to visit. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The large garden was a bonus for the children as they enjoyed playing football and running around. I even had a go at cooking on the Aga which turned out to be relatively easy. A great property which I’m sure we will use again.

A weekend was too short - this house is beautiful with state of the art facilities. The heating was on when we arrived and we were so comfortable all weekend. The food hamper provided by the hostess was extremely generous too. We thoroughly recommend this property.

We had a fab stay. The house was perfect for a large group and we all enjoyed playing 5 aside in the massive garden. So many thoughtful touches were provided we felt right at home and relaxed from arrival. Only a few minutes walk from Stirling town Center so really easy to get everywhere. We would definitely come back again!
