Our family group of 10 stayed at the Villa for 10 nights and found the villa itself to be clean and of a generally high standard , the children loved the pool. We did experience a couple of small issues but a simple text to Chantal or Jennifer soon solved those. Palm Mar itself is a small and relatively quiet resort but there are still plenty of places to eat and drink . I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends.

We had an amazing stay with Chantal at the property in Pal Mar, Located just 15minutes from the airport made it the perfect stay for our visit to Tenerife. The property had everything we needed for our week long stay including full kitchen facilities and amenities (including decent knifes, pans, ovenware, serving ware, chopping boards, containers, and utensils that are often missing from vacation rentals) hair dryer, laundry facilities, iron, kettles, toaster, dishwasher, safe and other amenities that made the stay a home from home! The property was cleaned to a high standard and had plenty of fresh towels and extra bedding should we have needed them. The host and on site contact was very easy to work with and very accommodating (thanks Cedric) and was on hand for any of our small questions we had ahead of our stay and during it. The location of the property was perfect; Pal Mar has a small Main Street less than 5 minutes walk away with several restaurants, bars, cafes, bank, supermarkets and medical centre amongst other facilities (nail salons, massage, real estate…etc) The beach is 2 blocks away and has a couple of snack bars and beach clubs. There are also several walking / running routes into the vast ‘country park’ landscape 500m away with fantastic views along the coast lines. The main towns of costa adeje, playa de las americas and Los Cristianos are only a 10 minute drive away for more Sandy beaches and restaurant options and with Siam mall less than 10 Minutes away for shopping had everything we wanted on the door step! We had a hire car that made it super easy to move around the south of the island and there was plenty of free parking right in front of the property and around the island. The pool area and hot tub terrace were well used during our stay and despite the high temperatures the pool heating was very welcome! In contrast, the individual air conditioning in each bedroom made it also very comfortable for rest times. The bathroom facilities were great with good powerful and hot showers and bathtub in the main house. Having the two individual units as well as the house also made it very easy to spread out for everyone to have their own space. Finally - the WiFi was great, and with 2 network meant we had full, fast connectivity across the whole property as well as lots of international TV channels available on the TV. Thank you for our stay, we look forward to returning again soon!

The property is excellent in a top class location. The manager (Cedric) was very helpful whenever needed. The only suggestions for improvement is for more cups / glasses to be provided and a mini tourist guide for reference.

The villa was absolutely ideal for our family of 14 (with an age range of 4 to 76!) and had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The decor was tasteful and immaculately clean. It was wonderful to be able to walk to local, excellent restaurants, the supermarket and the beach, although much of our time was spent in and around the pool where there was sufficient seating for all of us. The long dining tables meant that we were all able to eat together. The table tennis table was an added bonus. Communication with the owners was easy; they were very helpful and concerned that everything was in order for us. We couldn’t have wished for a better holiday.

Um es kurz zu sagen: Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt voll genossen. Der Abzug in der Gesamtbewertung von einem Stern resultiert auf der Tatsache, dass in einem Zimmer (Vierbettzimmer) ein Wasserschaden gewesen ist und die Wände austrocknen mussten und somit Wandabplatzungen und offene Wandbereiche zu sehen waren. Hier hätte ich mir eine Info im Vorfeld gewünscht, so dass man sich moralisch (in der Nutzung gab es keine Einschränkung) darauf hätte einstellen können. Aber ansonsten war alles super toll. Selbst als bei einem der Rollläden die Federn gerissen sind wurde dies sofort am nächsten Tag erledigt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war auch super lieb und toll. Wir waren mit meinen Eltern und den Familien meiner beiden Brüder (also 8 Erwachsene, drei Jugendliche (15,15 und 14) und zwei Kindern (5+3 Jahren) für 8 Tage dort um die Geburtsage meiner Eltern zu feiern. Das Haus hatte alles was man benötigt (Grill, Tischtennisplatte, schöner und sauberer Pool, ausreichend Pfannen und Toöpfe, Besteck, etc.). Aufgrund der Gestaltung des Hauses war es auch für jeden möglich sich mal zurückzuziehen, was bei einer Konstellation wie wir es waren hilfreich sein kann. Die Bilder entsprechen 1:1 dem vor Ort angetroffenen. Wenn man überhaupt ein Manko beschreiben müsste, dann wäre dies eventuell das Vierbettzimmer wie oben beschrieben und die Tatsache, dass dieses Zimmer für vier Personen doch relativ klein ist und der Schrank auch zu knap ist für vier Personen. Alle anderen Zimmer aber waren absolut top und wir werden, wenn wir nochmal in einer ähnlichen Gruppengröße sind und auch Teneriffa als Ziel ins Auge gefasst werden sollte, diese Unterkunft definitiv mit anfragen. Zum Strand in der Nähe können wir nichts sagen, da wir mit dem Auto immer andere Strände aufgesucht haben.

far exceeded our expectations

We were a family of 13 in total. One sister and brother and there families stayed in the main house and the other sister and hers stayed in one apartment and me and mine in the other. The facilities and space was amazing. We loved the pool and hot tub and apart from separate long walks and trips out occasionally we had quality time as a family. The weather in April was glorious in the day but cooler in the evenings though we BBQ and ate outside every night. We took DVD’s and had ‘cinema’ nights which were loved by both children and adults. Palm Mar is mainly residential and so quiet. Just a few bars and restaurants if you wanted to eat out. There’s an excellent supermarket with everything you could need and reasonably priced when compared to the big ones. We hired a car but didn’t need one really as there a ‘hoppa’ Transfer that takes you to the door which is very cheap and everything is within walking distance from there. It would have been cheaper to catch a bus or Taxi to Los Christianos and the water park if required. Our hosts were very helpful and kind and I’d have no hesitation to recommending them or their properties for an amazing family or friends holiday

We were 7 and there was enough space but it would be extremely crammed for 16. The kitchen was small for 7, but adequate, but there weren't really enough good sized glasses for non alcoholic drinks (plenty of wine glasses, they were well provided) and not nearly enough mugs. We were able to muster 8 once we had emptied every possible place in the property. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good as were the showers. The location is also good - easy walking distance to amenities and very accessible to places such as Las Americas without being part of the noise and traffic.

Please don`t get us wrong we had a great time and for a group of 14 its just perfect however......... Upon arrival we were told to look out for the pool man as he was not to be trusted i.e put valuables away, not what we wanted to hear in our first hour!!! and which put us all on edge for the rest of our time in the property. The Villa is in need of a lot of love not as the pictures depict. We had major issues with a fuse blowing constantly and it was the main kitchen lights and fridge!!!! this was resolved by changing a fuse... would have been better if this had been done when the issue arose rather than 3 days later. Shutters to the main bedroom in the main house were not working so that room felt a bit like a jail cell rather than an open light airy room... promises made again to fix this but did not happen. Table tennis table broken... bats.......well bits of wood and one dented ping pong ball not what we expected for the money paid. And just to top it off on our last day the owner just decided to walk in unannounced to show a couple of her friends around................there are no words to describe how we all felt about that intrusion. Aside from the above if you have a large group with kids this is a great place to chill, layout and facilities great once they are brought back up to standard.

This villa is exactly as described and seen in the photos. We were a party of 11 ; 6 adults and 5 children, and had plenty of space. The pool is a good size and the hot tub up on the large roof terrace was an added bonus. The property is well equipped and there is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron/ironing board. We made good use of that and it allowed us to travel with cabin bags only. Within a few minutes walk you will find shops and restaurants/bars, and it is also only a few minutes walk down to the sea where there is a small beach bar. There is a good size supermarket in Palm Mar that has a small selection of gluten-free products. There is a limited bus service from Palm Mar but taxis to Los Cristianos cost around 13-15E, and you can get one to Siam Park for around 20 euro, which was great when we had 8-seater vehicles. I would highly recommend this villa. There were a few issues when we arrived but we went for a meal and when we returned, everything was sorted. We had good communications with the owner and her representatives in Palm Mar. Palm Mar itself was fairly busy but it is not as big as Los Cristianos or Las Americas. We have been to Golf Del Sur on many occasions as we are not looking for big, busy resorts, and I would rate this similar.

Wir haben den 7 tägigen Aufenthalt in der Villa mit 14 Personen in Februar genossen. Wir waren 5 mit einander verwandten Familien und konnten uns in der Villa gut verteilen : 2 Familien mit Kindern im großen Haus, der Rest in 2 Apartments . Es war alles an den Küchenuntensilien da, was man zum Kochen mit 14 Personen braucht. Es gab auch ein großer Gartengrill. Ein riesiger Tisch draußen wo jeder von uns sitzen konnte, war perfekt für unsere große Gruppe. Auch für die Kinder gab es ein paar Spielsachen für den Pool und für den Strand / Sandkasten. Es gab genug Liegen für alle. Oben auf den sonnigen Dach könnte man im warmen Jakkuzi sitzen und sogar von dort den Meer sehen. Palm Mar ist eine kleine Stadt und wenn man auch andere Städte /Orte besuchen will, braucht man einen Mietwagen : wir hatten 3 Mietwagen und haben alles damit super erreicht : den Vulkan Teide (ca 1,3 Stunden Fahrt), Loro Park (ca. 1,5 Stunden), Siam Park, Wanderwege im Norden der Teneriffa.

We hebben de villa gehuurd met een grote groep vrienden (14 personen). De villa was volledig uitgerust met alles wat nodig was om zo een grote groep te onderhouden. De foto's wijken amper af van de realiteit! Chantal is een vriendelijke dame en alles werd vlot geregeld ondanks het feit dat er laat geboekt is. De betaling en de communicatie verliep heel vlot (In het Nederlands, Engels en Frans!) Het enige wat we redelijk jammer vonden was de locatie. Het ligt een redelijk eindje van alle stadsactiviteiten en alles moest met een taxi gebeuren, wat al snel héél kostelijk werd. Als je de mogelijkheid hebt om een auto te huren ZEKER doen! Er is ook een lekker restaurant op een minieme wandelafstand van de villa. De Sea Lounge, uitgebaat door de verhuurders van de villa. Beste restaurant in Palm Mar zonder twijfel en dat voor een heel schappelijke prijs!
