If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Curaçao, Blue Bay is the place, but just not this house. They provide 6 towels, 4 mini hand soap bars and that is it. Literally not even napkins or dishwashing detergent or even salt and pepper to cook. Absolutely nothing is provided. I asked the property manager and she said it is “the guests responsibility”, so clearly this is a choice they are making to not even provide the bare minimum. We had to buy all of it just to cook a single meal so I’d reconsider if you’re only staying a few days but wanted to cook during your stay. We also wanted to wash our towels and there was no detergent provided so if we wanted to do a load we would’ve had to go to the store for this as well. Overall, not really convenient to stay here. You have to communicate with a different person outside of the VRBO app through WhatsApp so be prepared for that as well. I would definitely go back to Blue Bay and stay there and I have recommended several friends to do so as well, but definitely look for a different property.

Although not very close to the Blue Bay beach, the villa is in an excellent location with a swimming pool close by. We arrived in the evening and were met by the property manager, Vivianne who showed us around. The property is very comfortable with everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. The facilities at the Blue Bay beach are excellent with a great restaurant (Coast) and beach bar (Blend). A car is needed as it is a long walk to the beach, and the nearest Supermarket is about 2-3kms away. The benefit of a car enables you to visit the Island, other beaches and Willemsted as well. The property itself is light and airy and a welcome air conditioning in the bedrooms. The washer and drier were most welcome but would recommend the fridge to be looked at (leaked water on occasions). We would recommend a few additions such as external lighting on the patio, a little more kitchen equipment (e.g sharp knives) if you wish to cook. Overall - a great place to vacation!

Good location. We ended up traveling the whole island over 9 days, and this was a good place to be based. We played the golf course once and it was very nice. The Lemongrass restaurant at the clubhouse seems way underrated. We had one lunch there and one dinner. Both were very good. The fish at dinner was the best I had all week. The beach was excellent - very clean and lots of chairs and shade, and some decent snorkeling. The water was clean and clear. The actual property was clean and large enough, but was lacking in some amenities. Maybe we should not have expected these, but we have rented many properties through VRBO, and typically we would find things like this: There was only one set of towels per person, no paper towels at all, no extra toilet tissue, no facial tissue (Kleenex), only one garbage bag, and no plastic bags, or aluminum foil. The clothes washer worked, but we had to air dry everything because the clothes dryer did not work. On the patio, there was no table, and the umbrella was broken.

We spent 6 days at this villa at the end of November. Viviane checked us in and out and was very friendly and efficient. The villa is located within Blue Bay resort which is great for access to the golf course, the beach and several restaurants. The kitchen is adequately stocked for eating in, and the villa is also close enough to Willemstad where there are several lovely restaurants. The open plan design of the villa is nice and makes up for the relatively small garden area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay.

We love to stay at Blue Bay Report. The property is clean and spacious. The property manager, Vivienne was very friendly and helpful. Blue Bay beach is beautiful. The resort also has great Scuba Diving service with awesome staff. We had a rental car during our stay to get in the city and visit other beaches in Curacao. We recommend this property.

Geweldige villa met erg vrije ligging aan de golfbaan. Gezamenlijk zwembad op 50 mtr afstand. Voorzien van alle gemakken waaronder vaatwasser, nieuwe wasmachine en droger. Huurauto is een aanrader.

De foto’s van de woning op de website gaven een veel gezelliger sfeer weer dan in werkelijkheid bleek. Maar verder was de woning wel functioneel. Er moet wel wat worden gedaan aan ongedierte in de woning: al op onze eerste avond vloog er een kakkerlak rond. De omgeving was mooi en verzorgd.

Fijne woning met prima voorzieningen. Op onderdelen was op onderhoud aandacht nodig maar is goed opgevolgd. Internetverbinding en multimedia kunnen een upgrade gebruiken maar waren overall gezien voldoende. De plek is een 9! geweldig vrij uitzicht fijne plek op de wind en heerlijk vogel geluiden gedurende de gehele dag. circa 8 minuten via de green lopen naar het strand, prima en gelijk een mooie wandeling. Prima locatie om heerlijk te ontspannen.

Wij werden heel fijn opgevangen door Vivian! Zij regelde alles supersnel(we hadden de kluis geblokkeerd en dezelfde dag is het opgelost). Het is een ruim huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel privacy en pal aan de golfbaan. Alles is dichtbij: het zwembad en het heerlijke mooie Blue Bay strand(5 minuten lopen binnendoor). De enige tip die wij hebben is dat het bestek een beetje summier was en we misten de kussens op de ligstoelen. Verder was alles aanwezig en de bedden waren top! We hebben een topvakantie gehad! Ik zou dit huis van harte aanbevelen en ik zou er graag zelf nog een keertje terug willen komen!

The location is fantastic: there are many activities right on your doorstep such as golf, tennis, snorkelling, diving, swimming. The beach is less than 5 minutes drive and beach access was included. Willemstad is about 20 minutes drive and it has lots of good bars and restaurants. The owner and administrator were very responsive. On the downside, the house is very close to others; if you have neighbours close by, you will hear them watching TV. Internet was down for 2-3 afternoons, which this was fixed in a few hours. It rained heavily one of the days and there was a leak in both bedrooms which was fixed the same week. Water and electricity were charged double the local rate.

We loved staying at this house in Curaçao. It is right near the resort’s pool, and a 10 minute walk or short drive to the beach. The house has a pretty good kitchen and there are also two restaurants and a beach bar at the resort where you can eat. There is great snorkeling right off of Blue Bay beach, as well as a dive shop on site where you can book excursions.

We got lost on our way from the airport and Vivienne was great. She waited for us and was very pleasant even though it was late. The place was beautiful. Definitely roomy enough and very clean. We enjoyed our visits from the cat! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great week!

The location and the property certainly met our needs. Blue Bay was a great place to stay. The overall house was in good condition and the ability to open the whole living area to the outside was great. Overlooking the 2nd hole was nice, so was the daily visit from the cat. I thing the few issues that should be addressed were the bedroom pillows, they were as thin as a pancake. The kitchen could have used some help. Pots with loose handles, a non existent can opener, one dull steak knife and a mish mash of other assorted kitchen ware. It would have also been nice if the house provided a cooler for the guests to use. The furniture was very outdated and rather uncomfortable. All that being said I would stay there again. Location was perfect. The Blue Bay bar was very nice, the restaurant's food was good but it did take 2.5 hours from order to finishing our meal. The boat trip out of the dive shop was superior. This was our second time on Island, the first being 16 years ago. We did not feel much has changed, that why its such a beautiful Island.

The house was perfect for our needs.

The unit is a pictured. It is spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation. We were met by a very friendly and helpful representative who showed us around the unit and responded to our questions including assisting us to arrange transportation. You will need a car to get around the property of Blue Bay and getting into the city. We recommend this property.

We spent a week in this property and were very comfortable in it. The only thing that you need aware is that the beach is 15m walk or 5m by car. We will return for sure.

Op een net resort in deze heerlijke woning verbleven. Wat maakt dat de woning heerlijk doorwaait zijn de shutters, maar ook dat je de huren iets beter hoort als deze al aanwezig zijn. Goede bedden, lekker douche (2x), keuken met alles wat ik wens in de vakantie. En wat heerlijk dat je je strandhanddoeken savonds even fris kunt wassen!

Our Garden Condo in the Blue Bay Resort was very spacious and in a great location. We had access to the beautiful Blue Bay beach which was a very full service beach with beach lounge chairs, Palapas for shade, food and drink service on the beach as well as at the nearby bar and restaurant. It was a great snorkeling spot as well. The food at the beach could have been better but was okay and very convenient. The bedrooms at the condo had air conditioning which was really needed at night. And the living room had a constant strong breeze (perhaps wind is a better characterization). The bedrooms and bathrooms were fine. The kitchen was serviceable but it would have been nice to have had a few more amenities like herbs, perhaps plastic wrap, trash bags, etc. Also, there were only two chaise lounges on the small patio and 4 of us visiting so it would have been nice to have had at least two additional outdoor chairs. A big plus was how close this condo was to a very nice pool. Overall a nice stay at a nice condo. I would return.

Samen met het gezin (2 jonge kinderen) hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Curacao op Blue Bay in deze moderne Villa. De villa is voorzien van alle gemakken en comfort. Er ontbrak ons werkelijk aan niets. Strand en zwembad zijn op loopafstand evenals een grote supermarkt (Centrum Supermarkt) die eenvoudig met de auto te bereiken is. De afstemming en communicatie met René was erg prettig en vlot . Voor specifieke zaken konden we terecht bij Sanneke en dat was niet alleen fijn, maar verliep eveneens erg prettig. Kortom ons verblijf was met een woord "geweldig" en wij zouden hier zo weer terug gaan!

The house is located in Blue Bay Gardens which is like a little village within the Blue Bay Resort. This area is perfect for trips because you can reach all interesting things within 30 minutes. The place itself has a nice view to the golf course. For us it was a surprise that all windows have no glass. The good point is that the air can circulate constantly. The not-so-good aspect is that because of the steady wind, the noise - especially at night - is loud. Additionally the effect of the air condition in the bed rooms do not last long. Therefore we had to use it the entire night. But that was also because of the season. The temperatures at night did not fall below 26 degree Celsius. The kitchen provided a good tool set. Some additional parts we got at the close supermarket. Overall, we had a very nice vacation and we would recommend this place to everyone who would like to travel to Curacao.

Wonderful villa that has everything you need,. We rented a car from Helder of Platinum cars right at the airport . Great service and such nice people . Greeted by lovely Sanneke who was there to answer any questions we may had . Short walk to the beach, where we enjoyed lots of snorkeling and indulge on cocktails and bitterballen :-) Wonderful location, clean comfortable modern spacious villa, great people and just a wonderful island!

Clean, all the conviences, great view of golf course. Our daughter had her own room and bathroom. Her shower head broke off, we phoned manager and it was fixed within 20 minutes! We used the Air conditioning at night, but during the day could open the place up completly to breezes. 10 minute walk to beach, but pool a few steps away. Blu Bay Beach a little rocky in the water, but good for snorkling, pure sand further out. Great food at bar & restaurant. Kokomo beach a 5 to 10 minute drive away had the best food we experienced on the Island in a one month stay and it has a swing in the water!

We would highly recommend this property. At 1st we were a little blown away by the openness (and lack of paper products) but it totally worked. We were pretty frugal with the electricity and water but it still was about $20US a day. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The pool is close and it was nice to cool off after a day shopping. We loved the little lizard that lives under the sofa. We named him Gary. He got quite used to us and kept the unit bug free for the most part. (We did use repellant). We couldn't get the dryer to work so we used the drying rack. Also, we couldn't figure out the oven so didn't use it either. We cooked breakfast almost every day before heading out. The grocery store down the street has a good selection and we bought a big bag and used it daily to go to the beaches. The beach is actually a 10minute easy walk. Just walk in and snorkel. Fish are abundant. The guys dived and were able to purchase a video of their dive. The food on the Blue Bay beach is also very good. We ordered beer by the bucket. We also loved the pizza at Pictures which is across the street from the beach. Although, my husband and I golf we did not take in the beautiful course, too many beaches to see. We rented a car (Mr Helder, Platinum Car Rental) so we were able to take in the other beaches. We mainly stayed on the West End and our favorite beach was beautiful Little Knip. They had a food vendor there that serves great fish and French fries and you are allowed to bring your own beverages and food. Not all the beaches allowed this. Most beaches you rent your lounge chair and umbrella but at Blue Bay these are free for guests. We went to Turtle Beach (Playa Grande) at the far west end to see turtles and we did see turtles. We also took a catamaran tour with Bounty Adventures to Klein Curacao which was great. The lunch they served was wonderful and the walk to see the lighthouse and the shipwrecks is well worth it. There are turtles there as well. We drove through Cristoffel National Park and it was well worth the trip. At the west end we ate at Jaanchie’s, Shelterrock Paradise and Kokomo’s. Away from the west end we ate at The Gouvenor, Irene's, Kome's and the brewpub. The food all was very good but not spicy hot even when they said it was. We ended up drinking beer because the pina coladas and mixed drinks were not very good. Their locally distilled Coconut Rum (Rise and Shine) was our favorite liquor.

The villa was clean, well maintained, well appointed. The location was amazing, opened up to patio and golf course, with steady breeze that kept the unit cool and comfortable. An amazing property and an amazing stay. We will definitely stay in this villa again!!

We just came back from spending four nights at this property. It is really a beautiful and spacious villa with everything you need. This villa is located in Blue Bay which was a great place to stay - we spent our days at Blue Bay beach and did a bunch of scuba diving at the beach also. Definitely recommend this villa!
