This cabin was just like pictured online. It was such a great location for everything we planned on doing while in the mountains. Was very comfortable and was so glad we could bring our dogs!

The link we booked and the actual cabin didn’t match.

House was very clean inside. Table was small for 4. Cable didn’t work, but we didn’t go there to watch tv. YouTube and Netflix worked, so grandson had his cartoons. Hot tub was not useable; filter housing had broken some time ago and filter was absolutely filthy. All the jets but 2 were clogged and the mildew inside the cover reeked. Fire pit chairs were filthy. Loved the self check-in. Overall, I’d rate it barely adequate. Would not rent this unit again.

The cabin was just as described. The inside was very clean. The porch and deck had old leaves that needed to be blown off. We had a problem with the master shower being clogged, but I called Watershed and it was fixed the very next morning. It was conveniently located to downtown.

This was our second stay at this property. Thoroughly enjoyed both times. Near to downtown Bryson City yet secluded. Would recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this property, I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arose. It was perfect for our family of five, everyone had such a good time. The location is great, there are neighboring cabins, but it still felt very private without being isolated. The cabin was clean, the beds were SO comfortable, the hot tub was clean and hot, etc. The screened in porch was my personal favorite, the first night we were there it was storming and I sat out there in the dark and listened to the rain. Super cozy! The backyard was also a favorite, you’re surrounded by nature and it was so peaceful to just go out and sit first thing in the morning. No one bothered us, which I loved too. We have no complaints at all.

We loved our stay and will be returning!! Cabin is fully stocked and clean. Fire pit is great. We didn’t use the hot tub but it is perfect size for a couple. Can’t wait to go beach!

This cabin was perfect for what we needed, someone comfortable to stay for my daughter’s dance competition. This is the most well stocked place I’ve ever booked on VRBO. I brought my own paper products, but did not even need them (we were there 2 nights). Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area.

We had a great time and the cabin was just so cute and quaint! The view was wonderful and watching it from the hot tub was even better!

The pictures of this rental property do not do it justice. It was very clean and quaint. They thought of every little detail to make this a comfortable, relaxing, and magical stay for all ages. They had a variety of board games to play my only complaint is the hot tub never got hot. We will back in the summer to take advantage of cold tub and go tubing.

The cabin is cozy and was perfect for our family fall break in Bryson City/ Deep Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch, deck, and fire pit. Upon arrival the cabin smelled strongly of propane gas and the gas fireplace was hot. Even though my husband and I both felt the fireplace giving off heat and the gas was obviously smelling up the entire cabin, Watershed’s maintenance person claimed there was nothing wrong with it. He did go outside and adjust something on the tank. After this, there was no more gas smell or heat from the fireplace unit. The listing states there is a dishwasher. There is not one in the cabin. We also love coffee and come prepared. It would have been nice for the listing to mention there is only a one cup Keurig machine in the cabin. Not a huge deal, but we would have come prepared to use that rather than a traditional coffee maker. The cabin is cozy and inviting. The only cleanliness issue was some mold growing in the master bedroom bathroom sink cabinet. The cabin is perfectly located to explore Bryson City, Deep Creek trails, and Cherokee.

We are adults in our 70's. The listing included a dishwasher. None there and no place there ever could have been one there. So after standing to cook meals, we had to stand to wash dishes. Also promised was $250 worth of tickets to the train, Biltmore, Jeep rides, etc. There were no tickets for us when we got there or mention of them. On the plus side, the cabin was nice, beds were comfortable, and we lived on the screened in porch.

I rented this property for Sept 6 thru Sept 10, confirmed thru VRBO Requested another night to be added back on Aug 23 Never heard back from property manager, Watershed! Then after we get here I asked for another night and they said it wasn't rented and it would be fine.. Then the property manager is trying to tell me that our booking was for the 9th and we needed to check out and they were going to charge me extra cause I messed up another booking When I sent them a screenshot of my VRBO confirmation she changed her tune and proceeded to tell me VRBO sent them the wrong checkout information...dont book anything thru Watershed Property Mgt They are dazed and confused and you damn sure dont tell someone you are going to charge them extra because YOU double booked the cabin!

We spent 2 days and celebrated Easter for 1st time with granddaughter we enjoyed the cabin

We were in town for the Polar Express and this cabin did not disappoint!! The location was a short drive to downtown and the cabin had everything we needed. They even had it decorated for Christmas!! We will definitely stay here again.

Nice little cabin .. just what the doctor ordered . Peaceful. Great cabin for quality time with the wife and family .

We enjoyed our stay, kids had a good time with bunk beds, DVD player and games. Nice outdoor space, great shaded fire pit. Hot tub is smaller than pictured but still nice. Small kitchen but well stocked with utensils. Partial view is beautiful and the porch was great for us to eat on! Overall very happy with our weekend!

Great cabin on the mountain ! Very clean, just the right size for our family . Cute older home with great charm ! Loved the fire pit area, hot tub and convenance to our location of the Polar Express ... would love to come back and stay longer .

Nice, Clean, & Cozy House. Had everything we needed for our stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Bryson City. The cabin was in a lovely area. The hot tub was a big hit with our AT hikers. The kitchen was adequately supplied with the utensils and cookware to cook the hikers. We did have some issues with the plumbing but when I contacted you folks someone was sent out promptly to fix it. I did notice some areas that were not cleaned well. A dirty exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms and some dry cereal in the couch cushions. Not a huge deal but want to make you aware.

Upon arrival, we were heartbroken to see the outside space only had a fire pit and several close houses in every direction. The noises from the neighbors were loud and abrasive for what we were hoping for. The hot tub cover was broken and the hot tub was quite small with cloudy water . The outdoor furniture could use a replacement and the porch did not look like it had been cleaned in several weeks. We cannot input on the inside as the key in the lock box did not open the door. On the plus side, the inside looking in looked clean, quaint, nicely decorated. The cabin location is very close to town and the drive was easy without the typical treacherous last stretch to your cabin. Thankfully the amazing people at Watershed Cabins rescued our vacation and allowed us to change to an amazing place with seclusion within an hour of contacting them.

We had a really great time at the cabin. On the map (even the gps coordinates that were provided) it was placed near Nantahala Village which was where we wanted to stay. In reality it was outside of Bryson City. The cabin was nice and clean and aside from some extra unexpected driving we had a great time!

We stayed at Valley View cottage for a week, it had everything we needed for a great stay. Wish we would have used the hot tub more (it worked great the one time we used it) and it rained quite a bit, so no fire. It was nice to see so many kitchen items available so we cooked an amount. After long days of motorcycling we enjoyed relaxing in the living room discussing out day. Over all we had a great time and would certainly rent it again, next time we'll use that hot tub more! The screen porch is a treat! We had coffee and cocktails out there every day looking at the mountains and listening to the birds, even got to see a rainbow one day and the field next door filled with fireflies our last night. The doors could use some mending to help keep the bees out, other than that we loved the little gem :)
