This home really felt like a home, it had plenty of beach toys, chairs, space, entertainment options, kitchen supplies, etc. and it was also beautiful! We had a large group of multiple families and there were separate spaces for grandparents, me with young kids, and three pre-teens and parents. The location was amazing and so easy to get to from the bridge! The host was fantastic with communication, had a welcome binder of information, and answered any questions we had during our stay! I would 100% come back to this exact house for a future vacation!

Annette property is excellent. We had such a wonderful time. She has thought of everything to make your vacation extra special. Clean, roomy, bed comfortable. We are already booking for next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was a great fit for our group of 10 adults. Appreciated the quick responses from the owner when we had questions. Would recommend to family and friends.

This house is fantastic! It's close enough to walk to many places in Surf City but just far enough out to avoid crowds. The house is furnished with many upgrades and a fully loaded kitchen. We had 12 people in our group. Everyone had their own space. The home floorplan is great that beds and baths are away from the main living space. Access to the beach is easy. There were many beach toys, boogie boards, and chairs provided. The host was very gracious and easy to work with. We parked five cars out front, including a full-size pickup, some SUVs, and a minivan. We would definitely return here. We had a super trip. I have two suggestions: -There are black shades that look custom made on many bedroom and bathroom windows. But at night they are see-through. Bring some towels or something to add an extra layer on the windows. -It would be nice to have a walkway from the front to the back deck without going through the home. Think carrying beach paraphernalia. I realize this is very minor. Overall this is by far the best home we have stayed in. We would surely return if we can work it out.

We had a fabulous week in August here. Annette was great about giving us any info we needed ahead of time. The place is in great shape, completely renovated after a hurricane in 2018. It looks new. Lots of space for a large family. Lots of sand toys and chairs on the back porch! Well stocked kitchen with utensils, spices etc. Great new large capacity washer and dryer. Enough parking for 5 cars. Upstairs can be a bit more of a private area...with one big king room and a single trundlebed room. The bunks (2 twins) are in open area off the upstairs loft...so open to downstairs noise...but just fine for teens who will sleep late through anything. It is close to the pier and shops...also great for teens who may want to walk there. Great views and right next to an active turtle nest! This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Topsail. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at “What’s in a name?”. The house is lovely, location is a short walk to the pier and lots of space for everyone. Beautiful weather, beautiful beach, and a sea turtle nested right next to the deck one of the nights. We have a multi-family crew and each had our own space. Will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for our family and beautiful and well maintained. Annette is very responsive to all messages and we really appreciate being able to stay at What's in a Name. Sat. July 29, 2022-week.

Short walk up the beach to Surf City. Beautiful house with plenty of room for or family of 16. We will be back next year!!!
