you should switch the bedroom to the garden side as it can get noisy

Spacious, comfortable, well ventilated, lovely bathroom. Open plan. Well appointed kitchen area, Nespresso capsule Machine, large fridge. Parking (paid) nearby was easy (suggest you get the Indigo App before you go if want to use the Underground Car Park). Fantastic location (central, top end of old town), plenty of shops, bars, restaurants nearby. Easy walk to main sights, markets and station.

The communication via the Property Agent, and via booking.com was very poor. Email with access instructions failed to arrive. We had an email from booking.com but with no attachment or useful information the specific message was blank! "The Booking Assistant said:" Telephone contact (no facility to text message - which would have helped with the language barrier), took three calls after we had arrived to get the Door code and key box code. Very frustrating. Later we had a toaster problem where the email via booking.com worked (and a fast replacement from the host), but the automated booking.com message response was again effectively blank! (Later we met our host, at the property, who was very charming and helpful)

This property was just beautiful. It was spotless and brand new inside. It was a big beautiful apartment with a loft area for sleeping. Everything was so comfortable and clean. We met the owner who was very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

No elevator, but we knew that. Well worth the stairs for those able.

We loved our stay at Le Relais DUCAL. It is a 30 hour journey from Darwin, Singapore, Paris to Nancy so we were tired when we arrived but access to the building was easy and we were delighted to find such a comfortable and well located apartment. It is right in the middle of the old town, surrounded by magnificent old buildings. A welcome pack also contained a list of recommended restaurants and where to buy the best croissants in town. We followed these recommendations and were delighted with the results. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and there was a wonderful variety of restaurants and shops nearby. We loved the apartment, the location, the ambience of the old town and the city.

We love our time in Nancy so much! Especialy thanks to the super nice and clean flat! Thank you for giving such a nice air'bnb to us - that's absolutely what made our stay unforgettabel! When we come back there will be only this option!

You can't sneak through the flat - the stairs are a little bit loud, but to be honest: That's not a big thing ;)

Location is terrific, very central. Redesign appointments are functional, complete and comfortable. Price is very reasonable considering all of the above

Parking is difficult. The unit we occupied is actually on the 4th floor if, as in the US, you consider the first floor as ground level. The spiral staircase is a challenge for 70+ aged guests climbing up three flights. Wash cloths would be a nice addition to the provided hand towels and bath towels

Spacious, clean and - important for all guests in the house - very calm flat in the old town of Nancy. May it stay like that!

The apartment is located perfectly - right in the center of everything, easy walking to exceptional bakeries and restaurants. Apartment is gorgeous with easy access and a heavy, very secure door. Outdoor parking lot is a nice, easy walk away through Stanislaus and a lovely garden.

Apartment is hard to find - pay close attention when getting there. GPS is a must! The recycling is annoying, but, good for the environment! We could not find the recycle bin for plastic, but, a kind young man took it for us to the recycle bin.

The location was excellent, it was really clean and well presented. It had character but also really functional.

The bed was not comfortable or as big as we expected but the one recommendation we have is for a blind to be put in the kitchen to block off the light from the terrace light well for people using the sofa bed.

Very central location, but in a quite street, very calm. Apartment is spacious and well decorated, with high ceilings. Kitchen is well equipped. Bedroom is comfortable.

Totally the apartment was excellent except comunication.

As following the information about the apartment, I waited for the contact from the host and sent the messages several times, even 1 day before our arrival NO ANSER. Finaly we got it by SMS when I asked. In case need to do, the information should be corrected.

Beautiful place, beautiful interior. Very big appartement, everything you need is there. And very very clean. Even we didn't see anybody, the communication was very good.

We are not young anymore, so little bit difficult to take all the suitcase to the third floor ;)

The appartment is big enough for family and confortable

The location was perfect and the apartment well thought out and designed. Every detail and need was catered for and having a good size outside space in the middle of town was lovely. We would definitely book again.

I actually can’t think of anything. Parking is not the easiest in Nancy but if you plan in advance it is fine.

The apartment was modern and clean. Location was in old town, so it was in a quiet street.

Staff: No personal welcome from the staff, all communication went through messages.It was an odd and cold reception. No Lift. You have to struggle with your luggage to the 3rd floor bcuz there’s no lift. I guess this is the case in all old buildings converted into apartments for rent. Stairs going to the sleeping area was creaky. So if you go to the toilet downstairs in the middle of the night, you wake up the whole apartment.
