Séjour merveilleux dans une maison de rêve à Cadaques, Que du Bonheur!

Maison calme très agréable avec une vue splendide sur cadaques . Elle est très bien équipée avec piscine climatisation et ustensile .Nous avons pas touché la voiture de 15 jours sauf pour aller faire des courses :2 fois.L’accès à cadaques se fait assez facilement à pied malgres une partie d’escalier qui est un peu sportive . Nous le faisons 1 a 2 fois par jour ,avec 2 enfant de 4 ans et une poussette !!! Pour avoir la vue il faut monter sur les hauteur 👍👍.j’y retournerai très certainement l’année prochaine .je recommande sans problème cette maison magnifiquement placée .

Muy cómodo. Vistas y terraza espectaculares. La casa esta muy equipada, cualquier cosa que necesites la encuentras. La persona encargada de la recepción fue muy amable, todo fue muy fácil. Por poner un defecto, el wifi es muy escaso y lento, pero quizás sea un problema general en Cadaques. Gracias por todo y encantado de volver.

La experiencia, aun habiendo sido pocos dias, ha dido perfecta. La vivienda ubicada en la loma entre Cadaqués y Portlligat, te presta unas vistas inigualables.

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage zum Ort, mit einem schönen Blick über Cadaques und das Meer. Man läuft nicht lange (keine 10 Min., Treppe benutz!) zum Ortseingang, nur der Weg zurück ist bei Sommerhitze dann etwas beschwerlicher. Wir hatten unsere beiden Hund dabei, die haben sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben tolle Wanderungen gemacht. Die Küche ist übermäßig gut ausgestattet, mit allem was man braucht. Es git sogar 2 Grills. Wegen der momentanen Lage haben wir viel selber gekocht. Dann ist es schön sich in einem Haus so wohl zu fühlen. Liebe Grüße Claudia H.

Maison très lumineuse et moderne offrant une très belle vue sur la ville et la mer. Très bien équipée et spacieuse, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Très bon emplacement, à 5 minutes du centre ville mais attention il faudra passer par un escalier de 84 marches pour y accéder! Au final nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa et dans la très belle ville de Cadaquès

To echo some of the other reviews, your primary regret about staying at this house is that your stay will be too short. The house is located at the top of a dead end street overlooking the picturesque town of Cadaques. When you open the front door, just drop your bags and walk through the house onto the patio and drink in the view. Oh, that view. It is spectacular and memorable. We loved having breakfast on the patio, dinner on the patio, late night cocktails on the patio...you get the idea. The house is very comfortable - open concept with kitchen and dining table adjacent to each other, down a few steps to the sizable living area with couches and a big tv (plenty of channels in multiple languages). Large glass doors open out to the patio. Did I mention the patio? We used two of the three bedrooms, didn’t use the bedroom that can only be accessed by going outside and down the stairs (it’s ok, that bedroom is nice too). Our visit was in early October...the weather was still nice (72F/22C daytime temperature), so a number of the bars, shops and restaurants were still open...I’m guessing quite a few stay open year round. We enjoyed drinks at Maritim Bar and Bola Nit, had delicious pizza at Raviyu, but also made epic meals in the kitchen at the house. There are a few small grocery stores in Cadaques, we bought most of our groceries at a larger Carrefour market in Roses on the way to Cadaques. BTW, the drive over the mountain to get to Cadaques is fun, the road is narrow and winding so go easy and enjoy the view. We did a tour/tasting at Celler Martin Faixo, just a 15 minute drive from the house...very fun and informative. Definitely go to the Dali house in Cadaques as well, a fascinating look into one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Lunch at the restaurant at the top of Cap de Creus was good too, and the view of course is fantastic. Just a few minor items to note: the house was missing a few necessities...we had to buy hand soap and paper towels at one of the small markets in town. The WiFi speed is adequate but doesn’t work well in the bedrooms, probably because the walls are so thick, maybe a WiFi repeater in the house would help. But all in all, you definitely want to stay here. It’s not easy to get to Cadaques. You’ll consider it a secret you may not want to share with other people, and you’ll want to return. And this is a lovely house to be the base for your visit.

This is a fabulous property, it has everything - view - pool - space - light and is dog friendly. Loved our week here and will return to beautiful Cadaqués and it’s marvellous restaurants soon. The home is so well equipped and comfortable, that it was very easy to spend time there.

We were a group of friends meeting at cadaques for a reunion. This house was the perfect place. It was exactly as described on the listing. We loved the different areas of the house - where we could hang out together at different times of the day. The completely secluded poolside with views of the surrounding hills, the other outside with a dining area and a lounging area offering views of the bay and the inside space to hangout when it gets too hot or cold outside! I recommend this place for a large family or a group of friends and would love to return here again. The town centre is a short 10mins walk away. The only thing to remember is that the house is on a hill and walking back up can be a challenge for some people. With respect to booking and communication, Ruth was very efficient and provided us with all the required information.

A very nice property, well furnished. Nice terrace with a view on part of the village, nice pool at the back of the house in the nature. Service was diligent and kind. The house is outside the town center, in the heights, about 5-10 minutes walk. Much recommended.

We were looking for a peaceful end to our month-long trip to Spain, something near the Mediterranean with a laid back vibe. I was a tad worried. Everything I saw on the Costa Brava had been wrecked by high rise buildings and tacky shops. What I wanted was what I had seen on calendars: white houses, blue skies, sparkling seas, tan people wearing bikinis, postcard stuff. Cadaques was precisely that, and Ruth's home gave us the ability to live our postcard dream even if just for a few days. The pictures give you a good taste of what you are going to get. The house is a wide-open space with windows on all sides. The front deck had plenty of sun for those who wanted it (me and my two daughters), and shade for those who didn't (my husband). The furniture is great looking and comfortable. All of us took long naps every afternoon. The pool on the back of the house is more spectacular than the pictures. The mountains rise dramatically behind it, and with no further development (the house is on a dead-end street), the back patio made for a wonderfully private place to drink coffee in the morning and stargaze at night. Honestly, we could have been in two different locals had we been blindfolded. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of everything for larger parties. The bedrooms and bathrooms are of a good size. The AC was much appreciated. Although you are on the sea with a constant breeze does not mean it doesn't get hot, which it was. There are bikes, beach chairs, BBQs to use if you so desire. The town is a 5-10 min. walk down the hill. The house was spotless, and communication with Ruth was quick and easy. The only thing I would change is how long we stayed. Three nights was not enough. Thank you, Ruth, for sharing your lovely home. Hopefully, someday we can return.

Beautiful view, great location....so much to enjoy as a family!

We stayed for 4 nights in mid June 2019 and could not have been happier...We spent mornings and afternoons in the town most days, and then early evenings by the pool with dinner on front or back terrace...Cadaquez itself was great and we felt like we could have spent a week and didn't want to leave after 4 days...Hope to return some day...

Perfect place for a lovely stay in Cadaques! Beautiful home, well located (quick walk to great restaurants and main beach area) stunning views. Amazing pool in the back with hillside views. Quick access to hiking trails. Three spacious well appointed bedrooms. Everything you need in a kitchen: even oil salt pepper. Christa welcomes us, so friendly and charming! Perfectly located at the end of the street making it very private and secluded, yet a short walk down hill to town restaurants and shopping. Great set up for a family or a group of friends. The pool in the back is very refreshing and the large deck in the front is perfect for relaxing after an active day of hiking, mountain biking or sea kayaking. We would definitely consider coming back.

Fabulous villa with stunning views over the national park on one side (very private) and fabulous views over Cadaques bay and the Mediterranean on the other. Hostess / Christina / wonderfully accommodating. So much to do in the area. Villa extraordinarily well equipped / perfect for families or for groups of friends. Very very good value. Owner charming and helpful as we firmed up the booking. In all a perfect place.

Very enjoyable. House was well equipped, comfortable and feel of somewhere that was cared for. 7 days not nearly enough.

The house is located in a calm and very quiet place (last house on the street). Huge terrace with panoramic views in Cadaques and surroundings. House is very comfortable, spacious, clean, large pool. It was a fantastic holiday - Thank you :)
