Our stay at Chalet Miravidi was wonderful. Karen’s communication was prompt and thorough, with great local knowledge, ideas and resources. The apartment was easy to find- exactly as instructed, comfortable and clean. All the facilities were of a high quality with comfortable beds, pillows etc Once we had got the hung of the village bus , supper out in the village was great, and staying in we used the little spar shop in Les Couches for all our needs. A great holiday with fantastic skiing, thank you

nice and clean house - short distance from the slopes and the ski was great. we where 9 adults (not a family) and it was a bit small for us.

The Mont Blanc apartment at Chalet Miravidi easily accommodated our 2 families with 4 older teenagers. The apartment was beautifully finished with 2 wet rooms and 2 separate toilets - plenty of hot water for the 8 of us but water pressure was an issue at times and only 1 person could shower at a time - however not really a problem as the excellent hot tub and sauna was put to good use so spacing out the need for showers at the same time. All 4 bedrooms were of decent size and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and Karen also kindly provided a raclette grill and Nespresso machine on request. The whole apartment was warm and comfortably furnished with fairly easy access to a blue run to the Montchavin lift via a short walk through the garden - however with the poor snow conditions skiing down to the lift would prove difficult for the less experienced skier however the ski bus stops at the bottom of the road as an alternative. Our hosts Karen and Matt were very friendly and helpful and sorted any minor issues very swiftly and always available for advice re restaurants and bars etc. Montchavin is an ideal base to explore both La Plagne and Les Arcs (via the Vanoise Express situated just above the chalet) and we would thoroughly recommend the Chalet Miravidi for any future holidays.

Found this chalet online at the last minute and glad I did. We had a great break away, very comfortable, well designed and beautiful views to Mont Blanc. Loved the hot tub and sauna after a full day of activities. We will be back in the winter for some skiing – see you then, thank you Karen and Matt for a great stay.

Beautiful location; well equipped chalet not quite ski in ski out; but not bad. Would happily have returned year after year, all our party were agreed on this; had it not been for a petty dispute over cleaning. In 30 years of going on this type of holiday we had never had an issue with cleaning. In summary we were charged 80 euros (subsequently refunded after protest) which completely soured our holiday experience; after being told we 'hadn't had time to clean afterall.' It appears as we didn't pay the additional fee for a 'professional clean' any reason was going to be saught to impose this charge. Pictures were sent to us as evidence which were laughable. Indeed there was an argument to say the apartment was cleaner on arrival than departure. We were supposed to provide clearly ' a professional clean' with a broken vacuum cleaner (no mop for a tiled accommodation) 1 miniscule cloth and the cheapest multipurpose cleaner. The cinic in me would suggest that was intentionally done, I will not be embarking on my next holiday or any other with a mop and a battery of cleaning products. All of this is such a shame; as had the cleaning been included in the price (rather than an optional extra) we would have happily paid as the appartment represented good value for money.
