After seeing town after town and church after church it was nice to take a quiet country break. The place was very nice. Comfortable and roomy. All modern conveniences. Supermarket about ten minutes and the old town 15 minutes. Good hikes from this location. Best part were the screens on the windows and a/c.

Dull knives and it needs a larger espresso maker.

We had a very nice stay in Il Bagolaro Casa, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped.

Everything was perfect and the owners were super-friendly and helpful. The location in a quiet village was very nice.

The apartment was a little further outside Sulmona than we would have preferred.

Park outside, air con in each room, location for ease of driving to sights etc, kettle and toaster, friendly English speaking host

We arrived late at night, the owners were waiting trying to help with the suitcases and any questions we had. The place was extremely clean with coffee, tea and some snakes for the first night. The kitchen was fully equipped and we found everything required to keep the house nice and clean. The location between the three nature reserves of Abruzzo was beyond any expectation.

Communication with Gaetano prior and during our stay was very good. The house is in an excellent location for exploring Sulmona and the stunning surrounding countryside by car. It is in the charming village of Badia about 5 minutes drive from Sulmona. A large CO-OP supermarket and shopping mall is less than 5 minutes drive from the property. Everything about the house is perfect, with all the equipment and facilities travellers could need. The owners were extremely kind and gave us helpful advice as well as some of their home-grown vegetables and wine. Parking is in front of the property. The view from the small patio at the front of the house is magnificent.

There is nothing to dislike. The only negative was having to go at the end of our booking.
