We had a brilliant weekend with family and friends celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beautiful garden and playground. There was something there for all ages. The house lived up to its description, so there were no disappointments. We were very lucky with the weather, so saw the house and grounds at their best.

We returned last Monday from a fantastic weekend at Northolme hall celebrating a 150th anniversary (60th + 90th birthdays) with 17 members of our family, ranging from 8 months to 90 years old. Northolme was the perfect venue with indoor and outdoor activities. The swimming pool was a hit with everyone but particularly the young families, it is kept so warm you can stay in for hours. The house and grounds are lovely and most people just stayed on-site all weekend. Thank-you Liz for making this lovely home available and to Pamela who made sure it was all ready for us. We would highly recommend Northolme to anyone needing a place for a multi-family holiday.

Despite adverse weather this was a perfect venue for a special family celebration.

From start to finish our stay at Northolme Hall was amazing. Liz the owner and her mum Pamela were very communicative and helpful with all aspects of our stay. The property itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - a true home away from home. The kids had the most amazing time in the beautiful pool, at the pool table and table tennis table. They never had a dull moment. The Grandparents enjoyed relaxing in the front room; the central room was relaxed and comfy for the middle aged of us. We all came together for wonderful family meals in the large dining room and lots of family games. The cinema screen was an exceptional bonus for movie night. The amenities were the best I have ever experienced with 2 large kitchens and numerous bathrooms. I could not recommend this place enough. We would definitely think about returning here again. Thank you Liz and Pamela for a wonderful stay.
