This property was perfect for three couples biking the Mickelson Trail. We had space for gathering and space to spread out. The house was well stocked and comfortable. The location was an easy walk downtown to restaurants and very close to the Mickelson Trail. Adam was wonderful to work with. He checked in to make sure everything was going well and responded quickly to one small issue. I can highly recommend Ruby Suites!

This was a great house - lots of space, very clean and in a great location. Host was very responsive. The front porch is nice and shady in the evening. Kids had a great time walking a couple blocks to the main drag in Custer when we weren't out seeing the sights.

We had a fantastic stay, 2 couples for a long weekend. The location is an easy walk to restaurants. The home is in great shape, easy to settle in and enjoy ourselves.

Everything was great, but we had a problem with the key pad entry and closure locking pad.

We had a great time during our stay. The house had everything we needed and the location was fun with coffee, restaurants, shops and more within blocks.

This property fit our family perfectly!!! The house was very well stocked with anything you could possibly need - whether it was bathroom supplies or kitchen supplies - they had it all! We were all very pleased with our stay there and we would definitely consider renting again. My 5 year old grandson said that he wanted to stay in Custer forever because it's so nice!!! Adam was great to work with and was so quick to respond if we had questions! The house was beautiful, exactly as the listing and photos stated. The property is right on the Main Street, in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Adam made everything easy, from check-in process, what to expect, and many suggestions on great things to do in the area. Custer is centrally located, easy access to the monuments, Custer State Park, and Deadwood, among many other attractions. This must be the best place to stay in Custer by far. I highly recommend Ruby Suites for your stay in the Black Hills!

We stayed here for a family reunion and everyone loved it. Adam was quickly responsive when we had any questions, the large deck outside and the gas grill were utilized a lot, the inside was nice, clean and up to date, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was also easy walking distance to a coffee place, a pie shop, brewery and restaurants. A great location with plenty of parking. We would love to stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

This location allowed us to explore all that the Black Hills has to offer. From Mount Rushmore and Sturgis to the Mammoth Site in Hot Springs. This home was centrally located and walkable to downtown Custer, but also safe and quite. The amenities offered was also much appreciated and more than I expected. Thank you for hosting us.

This is a great house! It's been beautifully updated and has everything you might need for your stay. This is one of the cleanest VRBO properties I have ever booked. Adam was very responsive to our questions and wanted to make sure that we had a 5-star stay at Ruby Suites, which we did! He suggested a bike rental company in Hill City that was excellent. We had a wonderful ride on the Mickelson Trail. Next time we are in Custer, we will book this property. Thank you Adam!

We had a great time in Custer. The location of the property was perfect for lots of activities and delicious restaurants. The house was very cozy, nicely decorated and newly renovated. Overall it was a great trip and we would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay for the Mt. Rushmore half marathon. The home was very clean, up to date and the communication from Adam was perfect. The house was more spacious than we anticipated and was perfectly situated. We were able to walk to restaurants and were perfectly located to get to other local attractions and our race.

This has to be the best place to stay in the area. The home is so lovely and clean and centrally located. And the hosts most responsive and helpful. If I were to come to the area again I would stay here.

Seated directly on the main strip of downtown Custer, this rental is really cute. A stones throw from all the action in town, we were only 30 minutes from the local national monuments and many of the surrounding attractions. We also enjoyed the local ice cream and pie. The house is clean and thoughtfully stocked for multiple guests. It is quiet and peaceful even though the main road is right outside the door. Entry and exit are very convenient with the smart lock and personalized code that the owner sets up for guests. Decorations are simple and nice. The beds are extremely comfortable. Amenities are intuitive and thoughtful (e.g., black makeup removal hand towels). Communication with the owner was great, and mainly consisted of a couple text messages and a personalized welcome email with one phone call. Our family of 8 guests thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location and we’ll gladly return for future visits.

House very convenient to all things SD! House great for our party of 5 and could have slept more if need be easily! New beds are all memory foam which we have never slept and took a moment to get use to. Only small thing lining of shower curtain needs to be replaced as small amt of mold and discoloration to it. Highly recommend!!

The stay at Ruby Suites was great! The place could not have been better located for exploring the Blackhills and all the great shops in Custer. It was extremely clean and set up for being a home away from home. The owner is very responsive which was a great comfort in case of any concerns. We loved it!

This place was just perfect for us! The house is really nice and the bedrooms are spacious! It’s great having two full bathrooms when there’s four of us. We like the location; It was close to a everything, i.e. restaurants, shops, and not far from the parks. We loved it!!

This is an immaculately clean home, with big bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room, and plenty of parking. The living room is small but has comfortable couches and a big TV, and the ample seating in the dining room and on the deck gave us plenty of room. It's a beautiful house. And the central air conditioning is amazing. It's located right on the main street of Custer, perfect for walking to dinner and shopping, and to the Michelson trail. I was afraid it would be noisy but it wasn't at all, other than sometimes on the deck during high traffic times. It would be nice if there was a little table and a few chairs by the back door so there could be an outdoors space when the street got noisy. Other than that, the house is very well-stocked, and they even had coffee and tea for us -- such a treat! Thank you for the wonderful stay -- we and all of the family who visited us there plan to return.
