Das Personal war bemüht, die Umstände irgendwie auszugleichen und uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen
Als Reisebegleiter einer querschnittgelähmten Rollstuhlfahrerin hatte ich ein barrierefreies Zimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer war extrem klein, gerade so konnte sie zwischen Bett und Schrank mit ihrem sehr schmalen Rollstuhl durchkommen. Auf den Balkon kam sie nur mit meiner Hilfe, die Schwelle war zu hoch. Und dann waren noch sechs Stufen in den Frühstücksraum - ich hatte das Frühstück ins Zimmer geholt und wir haben auf dem Mini-Tisch gegessen, die Kaffeetassen mussten auf dem Bett stehen - das war sehr enttäuschend und mit Barrierefreiheit hat das nichts zu tun!

Mind blowing view , amazing property, very helpful staff. Best spread of a continental breakfast . They even had a costa coffee machine . Overall great value for money

Good location, fanatic view, the room cleanness is acceptable as standard as similar lodge in Swiss. Breakfast is okay. Staffs are very friendly.

It was a nice room with a nice and clean bathroom. The kitchen was funtional but not many materials were present, we only cooked once. The balcony area is amazing it has a stuning vieuw over the lake, is very comfortable and safe, also for our dogs. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.
Apparently there is a curfew at the hotel even thought on Booking.com it says there isn't. You can't enter or leave the building between 10pm and 7am wich is very difficult with two dogs. Luckily they managed without accidents.
Apart from this the only other downside for our stay was the other group of people that was staying in the hotel. They were very rude towards the staff and some other guests. Luckily we only came across them during breakfast.

I really liked the view, this is what caught my attention, the tranquillity of the neighborhood and easy access to the Interlaken Ost station, also the two ladies that work 24/7 there are very very nice and helpful.
Rooms are old and smelly, curtain showers are old, floor carpets in the bathroom are old old!!! There were spiders in the bathroom and on my bed, hallways very dark, the building seems like it needs a MAJOR rebuilt. It’s a shame because the views are spectacular, if it had better maintenance it would be a 5 star hotel. 😕

Great view ! There is a small balcony with 2 chairs and table and beautiful view to the Brienz Lake. It took only 10 minutes to railway station Interlaken Ost, starting point to Jungfraujoch. Very pleasant and helpful international staff. Free parking and excellent free wi-fi. There is kitchen for guests which can be used free of charge. Very helpful if you want to store Swiss cheese and chocolate ! There is also kettle in the room, with tea, Nescafe and sugar.
This is budget hotel and you can not expect 4 or 5 stars hotel facilities. Anyway, air conditioning and shelf under bathroom mirror could be nice improvement. Some vegetables could improve breakfast offer (e.g. tomato, paprika..).

We had booked a room with a balcony view. The view of the lake and mountains from these rooms are amazing. It looks like a wallpaper everyday and so very beautiful. The hotel also offered breakfast which was nice and made it easy for us. The hotel is located a little bit further away from town. So having breakfast at the hotel made it easier as there are no options for food near the hotel.
The rooms were all non-smoking rooms but there is a strong cigarette smell in the bedrooms. I am not sure why but the smell was very strong. I am personally allergic to this smell and found it a bit difficult. Opening the bedroom windows helped but the smell is still there. The rooms all have smoke detectors but the smell is still there. Its not unbearable but still exists. The room facilities were minimum. The bathroom is a little small but gets the job done. A bar fridge in the room would have been useful.

The view from the balcony was indeed stunning. The size of the room was good and I liked the inclusion of a bath tub. Although there was no air-conditioning, there was a fan to make us of (we didn't).
Our room was quite close to the reception area, which made it a bit loud for our taste. It wasn't anything terrible, but loud voices could be heard on one of the days after even after 11 pm. The breakfast was okay, but not a super wide selection to choose from.

The location is really good. We dis not know the hotel is just behind the train station we could have saved 50eur for taxi fare when we checked in. The receptionist gave us free train ticket to hop in and off from the hotel to interlaken city. Amazing!
The hotel breakfast is only croissant/bread and cereals. Not too many choices. Not even fried eggs😭 they harlve too hard boiled eggs though
