Beautiful apartment in a great location on a picturesque and quiet canal. We were met at the apartment upon arrival and given the keys with a quick tour of the apartment. The apartment is nicely furnished, very clean and the kitchen is well-stocked. The washing machine was greatly appreciated but there is no electric dryer although a drying rack is provided to air dry your clothes. We definitely enjoyed our stay at the apartment and had the added bonus of being in Venice at graduation time for the nearby university. We got to see and witness some of the traditions of Venetian graduates...floral tiaras and chants of "dottore" shouted in huddles around the graduates. It was a very memorable and fun stay in Venice!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Venice. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Loved the location! Right by the canal and all the shops and restaurants. An added bonus for us, It was a 15min walk to the bus stop that took us to the airport. Communication with the host was very responsive and helpful- thank you!

A home away from home. We were greeted directly off of the Vaporetto, which was amazing. Upon our greeting, we were taken to the home, shown around – no rush or fuss, and our encounter was pleasant. Ca’ Leonessa provides all of the amenities necessary for an extended or short family stay in Venice. Spaces throughout the home are open, inviting, and comfortable after a day of exploring and adventuring. The décor is natural, neutral, and comforting, and the home is centrally located. There is a small market approximately a block and a half away, which provides a generous selection of produce, meat, pasta, dairy, et cetera. Piazza San Marco is a 15-to-20-minute walk, alternately the Vaporetto, is approximately two blocks away – a super easy short walk. Murano is a quick trip away as well, and well worth the visit. We highly recommend a private tour, of Wave Murano Glass, if able. A very comfortable, well-equipped home for traveling families and the personal greeting was very appreciated.

We loved the location of the aparment, close to the vaporetto stop and very close to restaurants and grocery store, with a lively bar across the street. Also loved the Sonos speaker system, it sounded great and let us play music throughout the apartment. Not a very touristy location which was great. Close to two piazzas, perfect for a stroll and hanging out. However, this was the only place we stayed at that didn't have a corkscrew to open our wine bottles. This wasn't rectified during our stay. Communication could be more responsive. Here a few more items that could be improved. There were no hand towels in the kitchen. And the bathrooms don't have locks. One of the bedrooms had two lamps but the plugs didn't fit the wall so could not be used, which made the bedroom dim.

Great location away from all the tourists with easy access to all the main sites. Checkin was amazing and also helped secure taxi’s so didn’t need to wait. We would definitely stay here again!

the property was very nice. Hardwood floors. Looked good. Near 2 nice plazas with several good restaurants. They could have supplied coffee and coffee filters. Only problem was finding the place but thats due to the city layout. Had a little problem connecting with the site agent but that was mostly my fault
