This apartment was in a great neighborhood. Very close to bus lines, metro. Lyon is incredibly easy to get around in using public transportation. Lots of wonderful restaurants. Most of the shops did not speak much English but were incredibly helpful with sign language and Google translate. Jean Marc was an incredible host, greeted us with a snack when we arrived. The 2 bedroom apartment is quite roomy. Felt like home. Highly recommend!

Having rented around a dozen apartments over the last few years all over Europe I can say that this apartment is at the top of the list. It is actually more beautiful than it photographs. Spacious, beautifully decorated and completely equipped, you can move in for 3 weeks, 3 months or 3 years. It is the closest to staying in someone's private residece you can get. Location is wonderful. Away from all the tourists but still very close to everything you want to see in Lyon. Public transportation is easy. You get the feel of being in a private high end neighborhood (which you are) and the beautiful park is just a couple of blocks away. We ate at neighborhood restaurants 3 out four nights including Michelin Tako Tanano just 10 minutes away and after one long day ate at the apartment courtesy of Les Halles only a 15 minute walk. Restaurant Steff is just a few blocks as is Chow Mama if you want a change of pace. John Marc could not have been more accommodating Met us on arrival and gave us a complete tour of where everything was and how it worked. He also met us on checkout and helped us with bags to our driver. If you are going to Lyon and want a true Lyonnaise experience, this is it.

Our host welcomed us to a spacious and spotless apartment with all necessities provided. Great location ... near shops and supplies. We were able to walk to our venues of interest ... enjoyed the park nearby and the sights of old Lyon. Jean-Marc was there to greet us and answered all our concerns promptly. Great VRBO!

Really enjoyed our time in this Property. Jean-Marc made us very comfortable with check-in and check-out and was available to answer all questions. Location was very close to public transportation and a beautiful park. Loved our time there.

Bel appartement, bien équipé, situé au coeur du 6e arrondissement, à proximité du Parc de la Tête d'Or et des transports en commun. Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours très agréables dans cet appartement et y avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Le double vitrage apporte une isolation sonore efficace et bienvenue. Contacts faciles avec le propriétaire, attentif à nos besoins.

Very spacious, nicely designed, well-equipped and convenient flat in a nice residential neighbourhood of Lyon. We stayed as a group of 3 adults and 2 children, and the apartment was very convenient for us. The flat and the neighbourhood gave us an experience of living in Lyon, which staying in a more touristic part of the city would not give. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in this apartment.

Jean-Marc's apartment in Lyon is a perfect place for your stay! It is a lovely 2 bedroom with a great location and a very responsive host. Jean-Marc even provided the key to our friend prior to our arrival, so that it would be easy to get it when we needed it. The place is large and super clean, modern and comfortable. We found nearby parking (you have to look for free parking nearby, but it is available),l and we could walk to both rivers, a great variety of restaurants, the Basilica (we walked up the entire way, although there is a funicular and buses), and lots of shopping. I would stay here anytime I was in Lyon, especially if I were going to stay for awhile, as the large size and complete list of amenities was very much appreciated! Thank you, Jean-Marc! Our deposit was returned promtly and you were a gracious host!

Well-appointed and spotlessly clean apartment. Location close to Conference centre, and beautiful Park Tête d'Or, as well as lovely shopping and dining. Located on easy transit routes to access other major destinations in Lyon. We really enjoyed life in France during out stay. Our host was exceedingly well prepared and very welcoming. Nous avons passé un bon séjour a Lyon. Grâce a notre hôte, et un appartement très agréable, net, bien équipé, nous étions très satisfaits.

Local muito familiar e agradável. Excelente estrutura para dias bem frios. Cozinha equipada. Camas confortáveis, quartos amplos, sala aconchegante. Recomendo para famílias. Padaria, supermercado, comércio nas proximidades. Proprietário muito organizado e atencioso. Todas as dúvidas foram dirimidas e atendidas prontamente.

It's a really nice apartment in a great area near the beautiful parc de la tête d'or. It is convenient to everything with great shopping nearby including a wonderful marché en plein air. The apartment is roomy, the bed in the master bedroom very comfortable (we didn't try the other) and the kitchen is very well equipped. The main drawback is that it is located on a very busy intersection with lots of traffic at all hours of the day. It has double glazed windows so is reasonably quiet with the windows closed, but it is very hot and stuffy. I would not recommend staying there during the summer as there is no air conditioning.

Un appartement de caractere, quartier splendide a qque minutes a pied du Parc de la Tete d'Or. Appartement en parfait état, propre, fonctionnel, idéal pour une famille ou un couple. Nous avons passé une semaine (2 adultes, 3 enfants 7,10,11 ans) chez Jean-Marc, un hôte aimable et a l'écoute. Nous conseillons l'appartement sans hésitation!!! Nous avons passé trois nuits. L'appartement est refait à neuf, calme et se situe à deux pas du Parc de la Tête d'or. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir trouvé cette location !

Situado en una zona muy bien ubicada de Lyon cerca de zonas verdes fantásticas para pasear o hacer futing cerca a su vez de El Centro ,combinado con un espacioso apartamento superbien equipado. Resuelve una estancia muy grata y altamente recomendable.
