We had a wonderful time at the Denali Harbor House. It was very comfortable and comforting to have such a warm and well-appointed home to return to after exploring Denali National Park during the day. The house has a large kitchen that we cooked several meals in after getting groceries in Healy. The TV setup has every streaming service imaginable. The house gets warmed quickly via a heater in the living room. And the view from the porch is pretty spectacular in clear days, with rolling hills and mountains in the distance. Communication with Mary was easy and she let us know when there was a brief Wi-Fi outage. She was a very gracious host and we would highly recommend staying at the Harbor House during your time in the Denali area.

The house was perfect for our family of three adults. It is a great place to stay near Denali NP and was as advertised or even better. Plenty of extras (sandwich bags, smore makings, bear spray to borrow - hopefully not having to be used, spices), plenty of pots and pans, lots of dishes, and the beds are comfortable. We ended up eating every meal at the house after spending the days out in nature. It saved us lots of money on food, etc. and was a welcome relief after hiking and viewing nature. The house is very quaint and it is obvious that a lot of care and love went into building it and decorating it with local artisan's crafts. Mary and Aaron were extremely easy to communicate with and responded almost within the hour (if needed). We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend The Harbor House to any families that are looking for a great place to escape, convenient to Denali NP, and the solitude of Alaska.

We had a great time at this lovely home. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The wrap around porch and the view were incredible.

This is an exceptional property! The Harbor House is a wonderfully decorated large home that includes a front deck that provides breathtaking mountain views. Watch the weather and views change daily as you enjoy your coffee or favorite beverages in genuine peace and quiet. What a way to unplug! We stayed a week in late July and took full advantage of the deck's grill and the fire pit. The home is close to Denali National Park and just getting there and into nearby McKinley Park can be a fun adventure on its mountain road. Communication with our hosts was exceptional and we felt very appreciated during our entire stay. This is a first-class VRBO. We hope to return one day.

Couldn't have been more pleased the house was super clean a lot of supplies that really helped out a lot when we were you know going to the park to have sandwich bags and foil and stuff like that etc I had the greatest time

There are many outstanding reviews of this house already on line. They are all accurate. One thing that was an added benefit for me was the wonderful artwork hanging inside the house. A beautiful watercolor of a moose. A ship and mountains painted on a map. Many lovely prints of winter scenes. The owners have a great eye and it was much appreciated.

The kitchen is well stocked and the hosts have tried to think of all needs. To get to the property, you need to travel some distance on unpaved road, but it wasn't bad. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. Note that there is only a TV in the living room and there is no washer and dryer (consistent with the description). The best options for dining are in Healy, about 10-15 minutes north on route 3.

Great location away from the buses. You need a car. The initial ourney seems complicated but the directions were detailed and clear. The kitchen has needed cookware and dishes for cooking in. Husband loved the grill. Place is toomy and comfortable.

It doesn’t get much better than this lovely property! I can’t say enough about the host’s efforts to make their guests feel comfortable. They left a hand-written welcome card and delicious snacks in this gorgeous and comfortable home. The place is perfectly appointed and even smells extra lovely! We highly recommend booking a stay here.
