Lovely well equipped cottage in perfect location
Stayed here with the dog to escape building work at home
Friends visited a couple of days and were very jealous I was there for a week
Spent a lot of time watching the world go by in the sun room (my favourite room) during the day
Cosy evenings eating and watching TV
Loved every minute even the night storm Ciarán rolled in !
Roxy had the best time enjoying long walks on the beach
Didn’t use the car all week
Communication with hosts was brilliant and information sent before arrival was excellent

Great location right on the beach as described. We went a bit out of season so some stuff around wasnt open, but it also meant the beach wasnt busy either.
The property is just what you need for that type of holiday. The condition of stuff is alright, not sparkling new.
The shower is a bit naff, a nice shower is sort of needed after sandy days.
There is a bit of mould downstairs, but it is right be the sea, so not sure how you avoid that tbh. The walls to neighbours are thin so noisy neighbours can be an issue.
Overall a good place to stay, great location, adquate facilities around and in the property.

A warm and welcoming property, appropriately furnished for a seaside break. Everything we needed from binoculars to 4 sizes of frying pans. Good quality bedding and a seating area outside with just one step on to sand. Camber Sands beach has to been seen. The view changes constantly with the tides, wind and sun.

Was a wonderful stay right on the beach. Precious moments having camber sands all to ourselves. Louise was a very professional generous host. It was well kitted out and we had everything we needed for a lovely family stay.

Another wonderful weekend on the beach!
This was our second visit and it was as great as the first. The house is in an amazing location right on the beach. The house itself is perfect for a family with two children. Our favourite room is the sun room overlooking the beach.

The house is very well equipped and has everything you need during your stay from a fully equipped kitchen to bucket and spades for the beach. It was so lovely waking up each day and looking out onto the beach. Fantastic location as well and footsteps away from the nearest fish and chip shop and ice cream cafe. We would defiantly recommend this to others and will come back again next year.

Relaxing Break
We had a great time at this property which is right on the beach front. The house is very well equipped and has everything you need during your stay from a fully equipped kitchen to bucket and spades for the beach. It was so lovely waking up each day and looking out onto the beach. Fantastic location as well and footsteps away from the nearest fish and chip shop and ice cream cafe. We would defiantly recommend this to others and will come back again next year.

This is a terrific holiday home. Right on the sands. Looking out of the front windows was a treat. Over the Christmas period hundreds of visitors with more dogs than you see at Crufts walked the massive beach, because of the light they looked like a scene from a Lowry painting. Our dog loved it too. House is very well equipped. Only problem we had was a massive puddle outside (it rained!) Meant we had to build a bridge to get to the carpark area but clearly not the fault of our hosts. Thoroughly recommend this home

This is a terrific holiday home. Right on the sands. Looking out of the front windows was a treat. Over the Christmas period hundreds of visitors with more dogs than you see at Crufts walked the massive beach, because of the light they looked like a scene from a Lowry painting. Our dog loved it too. House is very well equipped. Only problem we had was a massive puddle outside (it rained!) We all had a brilliant time. My top tips would be: bring a kite (though there are lots of other beach toys at the house), put a foot wash bowl by the back door to limit the sand entering the house and if you're vegetarian bring your own food as local shops and restaurants have limited options!

Greta little place right on the beach
Our hosts were lovely and very communicative. The property is located right on the beach, but bear in mind that section of the beach is not dog friendly most of the year. the accommodation came with everything you could need, and had a lovely sunroom upstairs which we made the most of when the weather turned cold in the evening. would recommend!

Ideal break!
We had such a lovely few days stay after lockdown. Camber was quiet and what an ideal location. Very relaxed with all that you need. And great that we could bring our dog too at a time that dogs are allowed on all parts of the beach. We’ve already booked in our next stay!

Fabulous location
We had wind and rain almost all week and yet we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being able to look out directly over the beach was fantastic and it was well equipped for all kinds of weather.

Lovely beach retreat
My family and I stayed for a week in September and had a lovely stay. Great for all ages and house has everything you need. Only downside that we weren’t prepared for is that you only get a parking permit for 1 car, so hadn’t budgeted to pay £12.40 a day for a week for our 2nd car.

Very comfortable and a great location.
Everything that we needed was there, from towels, cutlery and glasses to a bottle opener and board games ! Everything we needed was just a short walk away and the beautiful Rye was just a 12 minute drive. The property was in good condition and very clean ! We will definitely stay here again. The only minus was the shower pressure ?! Could do with a power shower but that’s all.

Everything you could possibly want was there so much thought and detail for ease and comfort was made. We would definitely go back and a lovely welcome pack was left too

Family break in December.
We stayed here for a family break over the Christmas holiday's.I can say that everyone enjoyed our stay.It is well equipped through out the accommodation from the age1-100 lol.All you need to rake with you is your clothing.It gets very warm inside once you have switched on the heating location was excellent notting was open as it was Christmas that is exactly what we was waiting a nice peaceful break i can imagine in the summer it will get very busy but you have your own private section of the beach.We all gave it a 5* rating and our hoping to go back in the summer time.Propety owner's was excellent in helping with all our needs.Thank you for the cakes kids loved them.

Fantastic short break in December
We loved our short stay at the Stowoway. Cosy accommodation with all you need to feel at home. Thankyou to the owners for the biscuits and cake and recommendations on where to eat. All were great. We hope to return in 2020

A brilliant doggy holiday!
We chose this property because of its location on the beach and it certainly didn't disappoint. As it was November, we knew the weather could have been a problem and it did rain quite a bit, but the cottage was cosy and we loved watching the waves crashing on the shore. from the back door. On low tide you can barely see the water, the beach stretched for miles and as we were on a doggie holiday that meant plenty of ball throwing and running space.
The cottage itself was well provided and Louise left a lovely welcome gift of cake and biscuits. I would definitely recommend Stowaway and hope to return soon.

Super location and beautifully furnished property
We spent 3 nights here and loved it. Property is right on beach with lovely walks in both directions. The property is extremely well furnished with the front room in particular having spectacular views. Lots of nice touches including welcome cake and biscuits on arrival. Very pet friendly.
