bit hard to find in the dark and without a satnav but owner had sent me good instructions

Our stay was lovely! The lodge is beautiful and peaceful, and very convenient for Virpazar and exploring Lake Skadar. The team were very friendly and helpful, including staying up for our late check-in.

Alexander was really helpful and made our stay perfect in all ways. His family was really nice too. The place is amazingly beautiful. All really comfy.

The property is set in a beautiful scenic location with restaurants and stores only a 15 minute walk away, the furnishings and decor are that of a high standard and it was clean upon arrival. Also Aleksandar’s grandparents brought us some bowls of fresh fruit which we appreciated greatly.

If I had to find something, it’d be that there is no curtain over the main door so the light in the apartment is not blocked out completely but this was not a problem for us as we were up reasonably early.

Beautiful room, peaceful surroundings. Aleksandar and his grandparents were extremely accommodating- fresh pomegranate juice, coffee and sweet treats gifted to us every day! We very much enjoyed our stay here :)

- the hosts: welcoming and very kind (thanks again for the cake!) - the location of the place, less than 5 minutes by car from the center of Virpazar - very quiet and easy to find - parking at the back of the house

- unfortunately Internet was not working when we were there, making it a bit difficult to organise our upcoming day trips (the host was really helpful trying to find out a way to repair it) - no dining table inside

Great to be a family ran business, from the airport transfer to the lodge being ran by the grandparents. It's like a chalet in the middle of the mountains very cool.

Picking peaches from the trees outside the lodge was wonderful. it was a 20 min walk into Virpazar for dinner which was a nice way to end the day. Aleksander’s grandparents were wonderful hosts. The lodge was really “ home from home”.

The lodge was very comfortable and a large living space and bedroom, a lovely terrace to sit at and have a drink, or do some work. The gardens are beautiful and very well tended to, lovely to be amongst. Alexsander couldn't have been more helpful with any questions we had and he arranged a fabulous boat trip on the lake for us, which was spectacular. He really went over and above.

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees. everything there was very thoughtful and well planned.

Absolutely loved staying and would recommend to anyone. Definitely get the breakfast and do the boat trip. So tranquil and such lovely hosts! The scenery is amazing and it's so cosy in such beautiful scenery. Loved it!

We loved the house, the owners was really so kind and helpful. If you have binocular you can see all birds from balcony. We'll definitely go there again. Thanks a lot.

Lodges are very beautiful and surrounded by fruit trees. The walk to the town it's nice with lush vegetation: pomegranate, apple trees, wineyards... Our lodge had the bedroom on the top floor and it was very beautiful and cozy. Sadly the owner was not there but we were welcomed by his grandparents. They don't speak english but are very nice! Also, the TV has many channels available.

If I really need to be picky I would say the bathroom was a bit small. But that was totally fine with us.

It position is hard to find.

The grandpa was very help full despite he cant speek English. Boat trip was nice

The apartment looks new and is very clean. It’s located slightly outside the town, but 15 minute walk and you’re there. It was extremely comfortable and Alexander was very helpful. We also did the boat tour with him which was nice as well. His grandparents (despite the language barrier) are friendly and welcoming.

very clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable, the place was really elegant and the owners are wonderful and helpful! no problems with checking in on late hours, the winery is a quiet and calming place, the wine is available and delicious :) truly recommend!

Aleksandar was very nice and give excellent recommendations about places to visit and helped with all other arrangements. Boat tour that he did for us was great. Delicious breakfast was prepared and served by his grandparents very early per our request

The warm welcome from Aleksandar’s grand-parents Unfortunately we don’t speak their language so we couldn’t discuss with these two lovely persons and we were very sorry about that. We had a typical Monténégro dinner prepared and served by Aleksandar’s grand-parents, and a very copious breakfast as well. The boat trip on the lake Skadar with Aleksandar was a must in our monténégrin vacations.

We had a wonderful stay at Ethno Lodge! Alexander and his family are great and very helpful hosts and provided us with an amazing breakfast in the morning. The apartment itself was spacious, modern and well equipped with various amenities.
