Good wifi, I could park my bike inside and the people in hostel where friendly. Quiet and good vibe.

The mattress was too smooth in the middle. Except that nothing bad.

This review is based on the fact that we were completely alone and had the entire house to us - if other guests would’ve been there I’m afraid it would’ve been much different. The place is more a private house with no reception or anything. But arranging a time to meet and enter with the owner beforehand works perfectly well. The owner is very kind. The wifi is strong and the place has a huge kitchen with a large, of old, fridge. Anything for preparing a simple meal without cooking is there in great variety. The place is very quiet and relaxing and has a nice backyard area which is partly under a roof so you can enjoy outside without getting burned or wet.

When arriving we asked about what time they’d serve breakfast as on booking it’s outlined that breakfast is included. The owner got a little mumbly and said something like most guests like to do their own breakfast...but we booked the place upon that information so we insisted. The breakfast turned out to be 4 medialunas and 2 pieces of small bread, nothing to put on it, not even butter, mate cocido and hot milk (which turned out to be out milk from the fridge we had bought they day before...), plus sugar which lives in an open jar in the closet with ants. We outlined this and got an apology, the next day we got a full small baguette but nothing else... Every morning while it was still dark a very enthusiastic cleaning lady came and made a hell of noise for apparently cleaning everything that hadn’t been cleaned in a while... When we got there the trash cans were full of trash from guests that had been there apparently some time ago considering the condition of the trash... all in all - the place has its charms and if you’re lucky and alone, however, I wouldn’t recommend it for solo female traveller as you could end up fully alone in the house, unless you like that. The area is otherwise defo friendly and safe and the place is well locked.
