All the reviews are so totally accurate. We could not find a negative review and we understand why. The property is fabulous with everything you could want. The hosts were brilliant, very friendly and with some excellent recommendations of where to eat in AciTrezza. Well worth a visit!

A welcome gift of a bowl of fruit and Jano' s excellent homemade Red wine was a surprise. Everything necessary was provided and we really enjoyed our stay, enabling us to explore the local area and further afield in Sicily. Acitrezza is a busy area at this time of summer but this added to the enjoyment as all the eateries were buzzing. Everywhere we went, we were made most welcome and the food superb. The apartment is situated on a hillside, up a narrow winding road, above the main coast road making access a little challenging, with parked cars and traffic. The property is behind electronic gates and parking is behind a further set of gates only suitable for a small car. Overall, our experience with the apartment was above reproach and we had a wonderful time there

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung. Modern und bis ins Datail liebevoll und stilsicher eingerichtet. Alle Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet, was der Mensch so braucht. Irre Aussicht!Was aber das besondere ist, ist der Empfang durch Guiseppe, der mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand, und uns sogar noch ein sizilianisches Frühstück zum Abschied brachte. Danke! Empfehlung an alle! Wir waren aber sehr froh, dass wir mit dem Auto da waren, da es vom Ort aus ganz schön nach oben geht. Das Auto kann man kostenlos im abgeschlossenen Hof parken. The accomodation was superb, well equipped. We found all what we needed. Kitchen and bathroom had all neccesary things (such as enough glasses, spoons coffee machine etc.). As we landed at midnight, we very happy that very late check-in was possible. Even we got as a welcoming present bottle of Sicilian wine and bowl of fruits. Higher impression from accomodation we had when we firstly stayed on terrace. We had fantastic evenings with beautyful sea view from both terraces. View from sleeping room was also marvelous. Corner window allows to see the sunrise and sea directly from bed. Small stone beach and local grocery shops were 20 min by walk from house. We reccomend to rent a car (small one is possible to park next to house) and disover Sicilian towns such as Taormina and Syrakusy.

We had a great time in Giulia‘s apartment. The view is extraordinary. The location is quiet and you are close to the see and the local restaurants. The warm welcome and support by Sebastiano and Guiseppe was great. We definitely can recommend staying in this buitfull apartment.

Both hosts gave us a very warm welcome in their cosy an comfortable appartement with this outstanding view over Acitrezza and the sea. We enjoyed the time in this perfect appartement very much and will give our friends the advice to check in there!

Accueil de Giuseppe et Jano génial pour notre arrivée très tardive! L’appartement est encore mieux en vrai que sur le site( déco de très bon goût, sensation d’espace, équipements de qualité en particulier la literie). Il faut se forcer pour partir visiter! Merci pour le vin et les fruits à l’arrivée! On a apprécié et merci pour l’aloe vera qui nous rappellera la déco extérieure de la maison. L’accès aux restaurants d’Aci Trezza est facile à pied et la possibilité de garer la voiture un atout. Super séjour, on recommande sans restriction.

Alles war geeignet für ein paar phantastische Tage in diesem Teil Siziliens. Die Vermieter waren außerordentlich engagiert und zuvorkommend, es gab Wein und Orangen zum Empfang und sogar ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk - alles prima.

Wir haben zu zweit einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt vom 1. Januar bis zum 8. Januar in dem sehr gepflegten und exzellent ausgestatteten Apartment verbracht. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir äußerst herzlich begrüßt und in die Nutzung eingewiesen. Die Wohnung war blitzsauber, sogar eine Flasche selbst gemachten Weines wurde uns zum Geschenk gemacht. Für einen Winteraufenthalt ist die Wohnung hervorragend geeignet, da sie zum einen beheizt ist, zum anderen aber auch mit dem wunderbaren Blick punktet. Selbst im Januar konnten wir auf der Terrasse herrlich im T-Shirt in der Sonne sitzen. Herrlich ist die Lage in der Wohnung: Die Wohnung ist außerordentlich schön gelegen mit einem wunderbar weiten Blick auf das Meer vor den Zyklopeninseln. Morgens bis abends (im Winter bis circa 16:00 Uhr) scheint die Sonne direkt auf die Terrasse(n). Diese kann man mit dem bereitgestellten Mobiliar (Liegestühle, Hollywoodschaukel, Sitzgruppe) auch hervorragend nutzen. Man ist super schnell unten in den Fischerdörfern rund um Ali Trezza. Dort gibt es hervorragende Restaurants, die nicht nur Fisch und Meeresfrüchte servieren, sondern auch alle anderen italienischen Köstlichkeiten. Aber auch einfachere Pizzerien und Bars sind dort in sehr guter Qualität zu finden. Auch die Nähe zu Catania ist fantastisch, dort kann man sehr viele kulturelle Schätze der Insel bewundern, aber auch hervorragend essen und ausgehen.

After we landed in Catania, we took the bus to Aci Trezza (40') where Sebastiano was waiting for us. When we arrived to the apartment up the hill, his brother Giuseppe was waiting with fresh drinks and fruits. There was a bottle of homemade wine of Sebastiano's wine yard, which was absolutely delicious. The apartment was located very close to the center of Aci Trezza (8 minute walk) and had everything we needed. The look from the terras over the 'isole dei ciclopi' was amazing. The host was very helpful. Besides recommending good restaurants, he drove us to several beautiful places on the island (Taormina, Etna,...) and even arranged a private boat tour on his yacht. Thanks to the host, this was one of our best 'chill' vacations of all time.

Fantastic apartment with a wonderful view. We worked remotely from here for a week so can confirm the WiFi is good and extended to the balcony. The hosts Sebastiano and Giovanni were very welcoming, with a bottle of their own wine and fresh fruit gifted to us upon arrival. A lovely and safe apartment to rent, located in a small peaceful town on the sea.

First time to Sicily and this place made our experience that much more memorable. Another commentator mentioned that the pictures don’t do it justice, we couldn’t agree more. As a off-season renter we were fortunate to have near perfect weather so I can only imagine what it would be like to stay during the season. We used the property as a ‘base camp’ to explore the highlights of Sicily. You can walk into town for some solid restaurants or drive 4km to a former fish town that has an abundance of restaurants on the water. Our hosts were most gracious, meeting us upon our arrival and stopping in on our last day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Not sure why a couple would stay anywhere else.

We entered this apartment and just went “wow” and spent our whole week feeling the same. To start with you couldn’t meet two nicer people than Jano and Giuseppe. They couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome, showing us all the features of the apartment and the facilities around. They so genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay and you could tell how proud they are of their property. It felt like meeting friends. But then they left us to it and we just checked out very informally at the end. I have to say the wine they gave us was exceptional - highly recommended. As for the apartment we can’t rate it highly enough. It is just spotless with every feature you need. Loved the dinky washing machine. The AC worked perfectly in combination with the fan in the bedroom and we slept perfectly. The terrace is the stand out feature with breathtaking views and we loved eating breakfast out there. We stayed out longer than needed just to read and relax before setting off on trips. But then it was fantastic to come back to in the evenings. We went off every day to wonderful places - Taormina, Etna, Ortigia, Noto, the mosaics at Villa Romana del Casale. Every one was stunning and not too far away. We went down into Acitrezza most evenings to eat and wander. It’s an easy enough 10 minute walk down. Driving is a very different skill in Sicily so walking was a welcome change. Our advice - hire a small car and be prepared for cars coming out quickly at every junction. You soon adopt the Sicilian attitude. There are plenty of restaurants and pizzerias - we particularly liked Pellegrinos - the pizzas were excellent and service so friendly. In fact the friendliness of all the Sicilians we met was such a positive. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating . All in all a fabulous holiday in a fabulous apartment. Usually at the end of a holiday I’m ready to come home but not this time. I could definitely have stayed longer. Highly recommended and many thanks Jano and Giuseppe for your attention to detail and warmth.

Our second time to stay here and its just as beautiful as we remembered. No doubt the view is fantastic. Could sit there all day but there are some fantastic sites to be seen, It worth a trip to Agrigento to the Ancient Greek temples. Also in that region, is the Scala dei Turchi ,breathtaking white cliffs. but more locally Taormina is close, Mount Etna, Catania and dont leave the area without going to Syracuse, a lovely baroque town. Our Hosts, Jano and Giuseppe are lovely guys and had everything in perfect order for us. This is a very clean modern apartment and highly recommend it.

Diese Wohnung ist ein Traum. Schon der Empfang von Herrn Toressi und Jano war sehr warm und menschlich. Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal da. Das frische Obst, die Flasche Wein und andere Überraschungen macht den Urlaubsstart perfekt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht, ist sehr modern und gehoben eingerichtet. Die Bilder spiegeln das wieder. Der Sonnenaufgang direkt vom Bett über dem Meer zu beobachten war traumhaft. Perfekter Ausgangsort um sowohl Taormina, Acireale, Catania, Messina und natürlich den Etna zu erkunden als auch zu Baden, das kleine Dorf und die Menschen kennenzulernen. Plaza Duomo ist auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Wir sind sehr gerne die kleinen Gassen runter zum Strand oder für kleine Einkäufe gelaufen. Die fahrenden Gemüsehändler bieten frisches Gemüse zum günstigen Preis. Wir können das nur weiterempfehlen. Ein Tipp: für Menschen mit empfindlicher Haut gibt es auch einen kleinen Sonnenschirm für den Strand. Hier würde wirklich an alles gedacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Einen großen Dank an alle für den sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub.

The apartment was fabulous, bright, clean and everything you could want for a holiday. We had two weeks and wished we had booked for three. The views are spectacular and location ideal for visiting sites of interest. The town Aci Trezza is lovely in the evening, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We loved Aci Castello and the castle and square a lovely place to sit and have a drink or food. So many places to visit, Syracuse and it’s “island” is a good day out and the modern cathedral spectacular. Mount Etna has to be done! Riposto is interesting and a good walk along it’s coast. Giuseppe and Jano, the owners, were so welcoming and helpful and we certainly recommend their apartment.

The flat is exactly as describe; probably even better in reality compare than the pictures. The location is great assuming your have a car. The village is a nice small village with all you need to relax. The host are absolutely lovely and very helpful. I would go back!

After a one week, 10-person family vacation on the west side of Sicily, my husband and I couldn't have found a better way to spend the 2nd week of our trip alone. This apartment is exactly as described, but the views (sunrise is spectacular) are better in person! Aci Trezza is a great village with plenty of restaurants and cafes right in the harbor. This location is perfect for touring all of the sights on the east coast of Sicily (Etna, Taormina, Ortigia/Siricusa). Technically, the apartment is walking distance to town, but the walk is better suited for the physically active, as the return to the apartment is windy and uphill all the way:). Also, make sure your manual transmission skills are sharp! Giuseppe and Jano were wonderful hosts and we look forward to a future visit to Casa delle Alohe!

As I just said it was excellent

This is a 5 star review. Arrival and meeting the brothers was easy and went like clockwork. The apartment is almost exactly as described and the accommodation is faultless. Why almost? The loungers in the photo were not present, although a pair of reclining chairs were. The terrace faces east and is a delightful location for breakfast watching the sun reflected in the sea from the shade of the umbrella. We were there in a heat wave, so it may not be typical, but we were driven indoors by the sun after mid morning, but we could emerge again in mid afternoon when the terrace is in shade. Sun lovers can move to the roof if they wish, its in sun all day long. The air con is only in the living room, but with the bedroom door open and a fan in operation the bedroom was never too hot. It's difficult to be sure, but the area appeared to be a mix of holiday apartments and permanent residential. The neighbours were entirely Italian. We never walked into town, too hot, but it is a very short drive and parking is ridiculously cheap. Thoroughly recommended.

If you want to explore Sicily's beautiful East coast, Casa delle Alohe is the perfect place to stay! The apartment is immaculate and has everything two people could possibly need, plus the two lovely sun terraces and the gorgeous views! Guiseppe and and his brother, Jano, who take care of the apartment, are two of the loveliest people you could meet, and are a fount of information regarding the local area. We had an amazing stay at Casa delle Alhoe, and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Sicily.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property and the contacts were extremely helpful in giving information on places to visit and eat. We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to family or friends and would definitely stay there again when returning to Sicily.

The town of Aci Trezza is perfect with beautiful views, charming fishing village atmosphere and authentic restaurants. A visit to Taormina was a great day outing. Super apartment in a great location. Guiseppe and Jano were perfect hosts and the apartment was exactly as described, very clean, well maintained and well laid out. The outside space in particular is wonderful, with great views. We found the location was ideal for visiting the places we wanted to see, being quite 'central' to explore the east coast of Sicily. Aci Trezza itself has a good selection of restaurants and places to enjoy a gelato! Would recommend without hesitation!

The apartment is set high up the hill from Acitrezza village. It is exceptionally clean, really well decorated and furnished and very secure, everything is there that you need to self cater. The sun terraces are huge with sun loungers and even a swing and the all important umbrella for shade. The owners are fantastic, we had a problem with the air-conditioning unit which was fixed within 24 hours of our phone call, nothing is too much trouble for them and their little touches of welcome are much appreciated. You do have to have a certain physical ability to reach the apartment from the road unless you go out in the car all the time. We looked upon the walk as part of our fitness regime to walk off the pizza, pasta and of course the wine. AciTrezza has many restaurants serving A la Carte and pizzeria type menus. You need a car to get to the main supermarkets which are a short drive away, we visited at the end of August beginning of September and found the traffic to be quite heavy. A lovely place to stay.

The best ever holiday rental that we have stayed in. We visited in September 2016 and enjoyed very moment of it. We loved the laid back feel to this little fishing port which although small has got everything you need. We enjoyed our walk to the village each morning just as it was coming alive and then continued on around the port. Once you had that done each day, you could enjoy all the lovely delicious food without feeling too guilty as you burn off those calories on the way back up that hill to the apartment. There are lots of lovely towns to see around the area and we made great use of the car. We drove to the base of Mount Etna and that was an amazing sight on a lovely clear day, The Apartment is just the ideal base with amazing sea views. If you don't have the energy to do very much, then you could happily sit on that lovely patio all day. The furnishings are not what you would normally see in holiday home, this apartment has style and the lovely feel of being uncluttered, bright and airy. Our hosts were so nice and friendly and responded quickly when we needed them one day as we were using too many appliances at the same time and caused a power outage. We would recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone who has plans to stay in this region. We certainly will be back one day.

Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The views from the 2 terraces are stunning. Situated a short walk in to town where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Took us a while to find it so maybe the directions would benefit from more detail/map. Highly recommended.
