We stayed at the flamingo cottage for almost 2 weeks. The cottage was very clean and kitchen well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walks with our dog. We enjoyed the great restaurants and the Gulfport brewery. All within walking distance and the beach was just a block away. Would definitely stay again.

On the wall in the living room there is a digital screen that you use to check in, get info on local restaurants, activities etc. Messages can be sent from the owners and they will pop up on the screen. We found this to be a clever way to get information, however it doesn’t do quite enough.The first problem we encountered that needs to be addressed is the TV. It is a smart TV, but there are no instructions on how to access local tv channels or a guide. For future guests, you choose Spectrum and once that loads, press the left arrow on the small Roku remote to get a guide. There is little to no storage space for groceries that do not get refrigerated. The fridge is large, but the reason we get a place with a kitchen is so that we can shop and cook for ourselves. We ended up losing the table as it was used to store dry goods that we bought for meals. We also lost all other counter space just to store groceries. What an absolutely amazing experience! Property was impeccable and management staff was very responsive and professional. It can be challenging to find a vacation property that is both pet friendly and desirable. This property exceeded all our expectations and the community was simply charming. We can’t wait to return in a few months!

This is a charming, thoughtfully appointed, and incredibly well-located listing. Because I was working from "home" I wish I had known that it was attached to other units. The sounds of the laundramat and the guests in the adjacent unit were an issue for me as my work involves confidential zoom meetings all day. It was lovely being able to walk to the coffee shop and then take my coffee to the beach to start my morning. Everything is very close including fine beaches, many of which I visited during my stay.

I couldn’t see what I looked like when I got dressed. Not that it really mattered cause this little town is so relaxed and chill, no make up , just shorts, T-shirt and flip flops and off you go. The other times, bathing suit. We had a wonderful time. We are already trying to book our return.

Flamingo Cottage is exactly as advertised. Perfect location to walk everywhere. One thing I really appreciated was that there were two wide screen T.V.s with easy instructions. We had an unexpected guest during our stay and the sofa provided a comfortable place to sleep. This was our 5th visit to Gulfport and it was, once again, a fun, relaxing, place to unwind for a week
