We had a great time in this wonderful home in Fort Myers! Check in was so easy with the Host meeting us at the house when we arrived. The home had everything we needed and the heated pool felt great throughout our month stay.

Very nice home and well stocked in sunny Florida. Pool could have used a vacuum on the floor and steps but water felt great on the 80 degree days. No cable so bring your fire stick. Karl and Jocelyn are super hosts.

This is such a tasteful, well equipped and stocked home; all our creature comforts were amply taken care of! The home is located in a private, quiet neighborhood, but has many shopping options in either direction off the main road! The pond & nature area next door is home to an alligator, turtles, iguanas, ibis, & herons, which all can be viewed from the comfort of your chaise on the lanai! Karl is right across cul-de-sac should any questions arise and is happy to respond! Awesome rental home and our family had a wonderful time!

We rented this home because of location and the pool and spa. The owners live across the street and were there at check in. They informed us that the spa would not be heated separately from the pool so it never was hot enough to use. Disappointed as this is what we like to do in the evenings. Also the tv was antenna only and had no sport channels or news again disappointed 😞. We were also told in the instructions not to turn the air conditioning lower than 78. It was 87 the whole stay so it was warm in the house. The hot tub should not be advertised if they won't let you heat it to at least 98 degrees.

We have rented many properties. This is by far the best equipped and maintain property we have ever rented. We were a day late in arriving and Karl adjusted his schedule to be there when we arrived.

My husband and I vacation in FL twice a year. We enjoy relaxing in the hot tub and pool. The location is also perfect as I go to the beach each morning to walk. Perfect location to beach and many restaurants, groceries, etc.

Pool toys available Cons: Pool light did not work laundry room light switches not working Tv in master bedroom didn’t work Internet not so good Very Limited channels on TV. Kitchen overhead light goes on/off Two burner grill with only one working burner ( only get grill to 300)

The home and property are beautiful. Owner/Manager lives two doors away.

We really enjoyed the convenience of the private pool. We’re were able to also enjoy some wild life around the property. We met the owner when arriving. He welcomed us and gave us a summary of the rules and features, that was nice. The house is stuffed with everything one would need. The location was perfect. Quiet place at the end of the street into a circle and close enough to a lot of stores and local landmarks. Great experience, would recommend it and would book it again without hesitation.

My family is very happy and pleased with our staying. The location is very good in a calm and beautiful neighborhood. The property is well maintained and managed and offered a very nice amount of comfort. Overall we could feel a good environment and take a wonderful time in family.

We had such an amazing time during our stay here. We absolutely loved this home. It was close to everything, and it had everything we needed. Loved the pool, the size of the rooms and the layout of the house. Karl was amazing, he was there to check us in and even let us check in early. We had an issue with the grill, and he came right over to take care of it. I recommend staying at this property for sure. It is on a very quiet street which was just what we were looking for. Loved seeing all the wildlife around the property. We cannot wait to come back.

In a real estate purchase, it's said to look for just three major attractions: Location, Location, and Location. This vacation property hits all three attractions, then adds the bonuses of both roominess inside and (ta-da!) a caged pool outside. Candidly, we spent the bulk of our time gathered around the pool, being lazy, and taking advantage of Florida's pre-summer swelter. But when we wanted to go somewhere, whatever we wanted was just around a corner. Beach? Check! Stores? Double-check! Utter privacy? Triple-check! The house is easy to get to, at the end of a cul-de-sac, and backs up to a pond/mini lake. All this adds to a sense of solitude despite "everything" just down the street. Literally, nights were utterly black, quiet, and peaceful. The interior was spotless; the amenities were plentiful and useful; and the owners available when needed (as when the neighborhood inexplicably lost power for a few hours). And as an awesome bonus, there was a half-bath off of the pool -- we could take a break without trekking through the house! Our two recommendations: [a] Change the batteries in the garage door opener; and [b] let us know where we can buy that stunning butterfly beach towel in the second bathroom. The wife coveted it and "owned" it during our stay, then mourned having to return it to its rightful place. The husband would get major brownie-points if he could find one for her... {...typed with a smile...}

My sister, boyfriend, and I took a trip to Fort Myers. We found this home and loved it! To our surprise when we got there it was even further renovated than the pictures and looks beautiful inside! The pool was great and everything was super clean. We loved how close everything was to the house. Our car ride to the beach and nearby restaurants were all less than 10 minutes. Karl was helpful and answered any questions I had pretty quickly! We would definitely go back again!

Our family enjoy our relaxing vacation mostly spending time around the pool. Kids enjoyed having the alligator to watch in the near by pond. Kids felt safe of course being in the enclosed fence but still very close to alligator watching. Home was very clean and had all the appliances and extra bedding and towels which was very helpful with 4 kids. 😁 I would recommend this home to anyone!

The house is awesome. It was cool to see the alligator in the pond out back. Don’t worry, it’s fenced in and the alligator seems very shy. Well maintained property and a very nice, big yard!

Awesome!! This was our first time in Fort Myers, FL. So my wife and I had no Ideas what to do, where to go, what to see Etc. The owner of the property is very knowledgeable & accessible, for any questions or needs. The property is very nicely located for whatever you would like to do. Relatively close to the airport within a couple of miles from several nice beaches, very close to shopping, groceries, eating out Etc. Karl, is a great handyman as well. I had a mechanical issue on my trailer that I was towing and Karl walked me to the finish line and resolved my issue. Great Place, Great location for year around visiting of Fort Myers, Great property owners. The swimming pool area has some very unique amenities, Gas Grill, swimming toy storage area with plenty of floaties & toys for adults and children, the bathroom and changing area rocks. No tracking through the house for going bathroom breaks, great for adults and children. The Kitchen, bedrooms, walk in closet, bathrooms, washer & dryer area, 2- Livingroom areas, books, games Etc Etc. had everything you needed for a hassle free vacation. We had an all-around Great place to stay and a Great vacation. Thank you Karl, you’re the Best, we will definitely be back to stay longer. Karen and Rod.

Very nice accommodations & Karl is very helpful. Would stay here again! Our weather was a little chilly so figuring out how to increase the temps on the hot tub was a little tricky but the lanai makes it a nice way to enjoy the outdoor amenities. The home was clean and set up to enjoy relaxing here and conveniently located to exploring Fort Myers.

Easy, clean, everything we were looking for.

The entire reason I picked this property was because it had a private pool and hot tub. The pool was freezing cold and The hot tub was Luke warm and only Luke warm from 8 till 11. There was also no internet service. The owners only response was that he paid for internet service. We arrived at 4 pm and promptly left the next morning and the owner only wanted to refund a small portion of the amount paid. This property was a complete rip off.

The property is as described on the Vrbo site and very spacious. It really is a gorgeous, spacious home and we are sure anyone would be happy with it. It's in a very nice subdivision with no neighbors behind you. There's a large screened in patio with a heated pool and jacuzzi. It's also very close to Publix (grocery store) and Walmart. If you like watching TV, bring your Amazon Fire Stick or streaming device as the TVs in the home are not smart TVs and there is no cable. There is a blue-ray player. We can't fully rate the property because we only stayed in the house one night out of seven. Unfortunately, there was a huge leak the night before check-in (the water line broke when they put the new fridge in) causing an awful mildew odor, resulting in us having to relocate the next day to another property owned by Karl and Jocelyn. Note: Once we relocated to the other property, they did take immediate action to remove the carpet and eliminate the odor, so we are sure anyone renting the property after this point will be pleased. Karl and Jocelyn did move us to another property the next day, but the second property did not have the same amenities, which reduced the value of the price we had paid for the original property. Karl and Jocelyn are very responsive and live two houses over from the property so they are close by should you need anything at all.

The home is a wonderful place to stay; clean, well maintained and the perfect location if you don't care to stay at the beach but want to be close. The house has lots of space, the furniture is clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed The pool is very nice with an assortment of pool toys on hand. The reasons I didn't do 5 stars are - as others have mentioned, I think the house has an antennae and with the weather we only had 1 local channel. Not a big deal with technology today but the wifi bandwidth was about 15 to 25 mbps and sometimes struggled to keep up with three streaming devices - the hot tub was the same temp as the pool. my daughter was bummed but I didn't care enough to ask for it to be fixed - the grill needs a tank of gas. i would have loved to have used it but i didn't feel like going to a hardware store and messing with on vacation - the fridge quit and I lost my groceries. i was given a temporary replacement in the garage that was a little inconvenient but manageable. You may want to confirm this has been replaced Karl was accommodating with an early check in and last minute extended stay. Although I didn't do 5 stars I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. I hope you find this review helpful. -craig

This property was very clean,had everything we needed and owner was very accommodating . It is very beautiful inside and out! We enjoyed the pool and wildlife on the lake everyday. Great location! Thank you so much for making this a great stay!

We had a awesome week in Fort Myers, the location was perfect. Karl and Jocelyn we wonderful. The property is lovely. There were plenty of amenities, making the house feel very cozy and welcoming. We would have loved the spa hot tub to be hot or even warm. Our time there was outstanding and we recommend it as a beautiful home to vacation at.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and well kept. The kids loved the pool. I had a couple questions and Karl was responsive and helpful. Hoping to stay again!

The location was great and the house was what we needed in terms of location, bedrooms, pool, etc. You won't go wrong staying here by any means. Here are the things that were disappointments for us: - No cable tv. Not a deal breaker, but if you have young kids (we do), you understand the inconvenience. - The "blue ray player" was not blue ray. Just would have been nice to know that before we settled in to watch a blue ray movie (again, with the kids). - The hot tub. You know, the one in the picture. It sort of, kind of worked. At first, it was same temp as the pool. So we got the owner to turn it on. After that, it was warm but not what you expect for a HOT tub (like 100+ degrees). Just be aware if you are interested in relaxing in the hot tub after your kids go to bed.

BBQ grill was out of gas and did not work. Ask owner and he made it our problem. We needed to buy a tank of gas and fix the regulator on it. Pool never had heat even though we paid for it. We checked the temp with a pool thermometer and it was at 70-73 and owner insisted that it was heated. Owner also has a rule that the thermostat can not be set at less than 79 degrees otherwise you will be charged extra. Owner also came into the back yard and lanai are a few times uninvited. We felt that was very rude.

Perfect location to everything around Fort Meyers. House very roomy and clean and well appointed.

The house was great, clean, large, comfortable. A pool and spa to relax in. Very private. A lake next to house with birds, fish, turtles and iguanas to watch. Location was central to many beaches and stores. The homeowner was pleasant to work with. Home and expecting 10 inches of snow. Wishing to be back in Fla. Thank you Karl, Nancy and George

Two couples from Canada stayed at Karl and Jocelyn’s house from October 17 to 27th. The house is a perfect location,very close to the beach and many great restaurants. It’s a large 3 bedroom house with lots of room and is very well decorated, The covered pool area was the favourite place to sit and relax and was great watching the birds and the geckos around the pond. Kitchen has everything you would need with top of the line appliances. We could tell the owners take great pride in maintaining their home. We will definitely be back at this rental, one of the nicest places we stayed in, Thank you Karl and Jocelyn for the perfect vacation ! Lee, Kelly, Dave, Laura
