This property was charming and close to Berea College, where both of my children are students. The inclusion of the story of the owner's attachment to the property was very sweet and a nice bit of history. We enjoyed it!

Everything was fine. The outside property wasn’t very well maintained, but the inside was neat and comfortable.

It was so fortunate that this home was available after our other booking sustained some issues that required us to cancel. This home is a lovely 1938 brick house which was spotlessly clean and inviting. The AC stopped working shortly after we checked in and the owners responded immediately to fix it. They then stayed to visit with us and were very informative about the area and various sites we could visit. Our stay couldn't have been lovelier and the hosts were so very gracious. The rate was super economical, too. I would stay here again. Just two suggestions: please supply 3 pronged outlet attachments as I had to purchase one to plug in my computer. My friend and I are older and would have appreciated a couple of hassocks to put our feet up at the end of our lovely days visiting this area. Thank you!.

This is our second stay at High on Berea. We love this charming house. It instantly feels like home. The beds are amazingly comfortable! The neighborhood is quiet, yet central to everything! We plan to make this our yearly lodging when we meet up in Berea!

Perfect location for us, walking distance to restaurants, very clean and decorated so adorably. Bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The only thing we wished for was more control of the AC and local news on the TV. It was a Great STAY!

Laura replied quickly with any question I had. The house was immaculate and furnished nicely. Could have used more forks snd towels, but I find that most all stays lately, only supply minimum to cover maximum guests, so wasnt srprised. Wifi directions were great, but we couldnt figure out TV. Laura had someone come over to help, but she didnt know either, and in the end we were limited to our Netflix account as anything else we couldnt figure out how to get. Im not a TV person so it didnt bother me, but clear instructions on getting on TV would be good for most people. Again, not an issue for me personally at all. My family would have enjoyed more TV program choices , though. Beds were great and we all slept well. House is located very close to downtown so we heard a lot of sirens which is expected in a city. The location was great for visiting the downtown area and that was the point of our whole trip. House is adorable and we appreciated Laura allowing us to stay in her home. Great stay!

This is our second time staying at the house because we liked it so much the first time. It’s a cute house close to Berea College, perfect for parents visiting kids who are Berea students. It looks just like it does in the picture, no surprises. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. I’m sure that we will return again.

We had a great stay in this 2 bed / 1 ba home for a family of 4. It’s older but has character and we were very comfortable in the space. Great location close to their arts center and the town of Berea is very charming!

Cute little house and a quiet neighborhood. Close to many things that Berea has to offer. Only thing we needed that I didn’t realize was not available was washer and dryer. Other than that this place was perfect. Will stay here again the the future.

High on Berea is a charming bungalow located in a quiet neighborhood. We instantly felt at home, it never felt like we were visitors. Plenty of room, great A/C - we arrived in 95+ degree weather! Comfortable beds, well stocked coffee bar, and super clean. Highly recommend! Laura was sweet to deal with. We WILL be back!

Great old house in a perfect location.

It's truly the most ideal location for not having a head's up on the stringent cannabis policy. Being from out of state and having a family member joining us with medical marijuana it meant we had to get them a last minute lodging. This might be something you note in the future. Not an issue for us personally and the local laws, but for a college town might be a good courtesy. Still a five star cozy delightful space.

At first glance the property is as described. However, the property was less than acceptable upon a closer look. I do not know the standards for the cleaning person but it was necessary to clean the mold out of the refrigerator which triggered a closer look at the complete facility. Without specific details we found it necessary to call Laura who responded quickly and offered a complete refund. However, with all our food a hotel was not a possible alternative. The property was cleaned the next day and we were happy campers. Our first VRBO experience and we will be cautious on future bookings

Very comfortable, well equipped, and tastefully decorated house on a quiet street. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location is an easy walk to the Old Town stores and the college as well as handy for the Boone Tavern area shops.
