It’s an excellent place to stay if you are looking for a local experience in Ubud. The couple that manages this property are extremely helpful. The homemade breakfast was amazing. The location is quiet and peaceful and a great place for an offbeat experience.

Kerta and his wife were brilliant hosts, so welcoming and really looked after me. The morning breakfast time was flexible to accommodate whatever kind of holiday you wanted. Kerta also offered a transfer service for an additional (very reasonable) cost, whether going into town or visiting a friend nearby. I found this to be very convenient compared to organizing externally, and Kerta was a lovely guide always giving bits of information on a drive. You can also organise tours etc. with him, which I would have done if I'd known before booking other stuff. The room was a very nice size, with a lovely bathroom and shower, and one window looking out towards the jungle. The Uma Anyar waterfall is about 2 minutes from the BnB, and there are lovely calm rice terraces all around.

No complaints, if you're happy with being a little out from the center of town, which is what I wanted (and with seeing a few jungle lizards which I really enjoyed)

Lovely place surrounded by nature, but not far from Ubud. Almost personal waterfall next door. Wonderful, caring people. Felt like at home. Highly recommend to experience this stay and hospitality.

We will remember our stay for a long time due to the fantastically friendly attitude of the hosts. They are very helpful, kind, cheerful. They made us feel like we were at our own home. The quality of the rooms and the entire facility looks better in reality than in the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised by this place. The advantage is the quiet location, a few km from Ubud, while being close to many attractions. From the room we had a view of the beautiful exotic greenery. The terrace is also beautifully located above the pool and among the plants. The owners are very hospitable, coffee, tea and water are available for free. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The owner was very informative about places to visit in the area. We were in Bali in 6 different places to stay but this was definitely the best :) We recommend it wholeheartedly :) We dream to come back to Kerta Family B&B :)

Kerta and Septi are both beautiful people. They were very happy to help us with anything we needed. The B& B is located in the family village at the rear of their compound. It is very private and away from the road. The room was very comfortable.

There is nothing to dislike here. Kerta and his family are the most welcoming people we have ever met and always go that extra mile for you. Any tours you want to do Kerta will sort and always try to get you a good price. They make you feel so at home you do not want to leave! Rooms are really nice and spacious and the pool is a lovely area to chill out. Breakfast also really good and they can arrange this around your schedule if you have tours etc booked like we did leaving at 2AM they offered to make us breakfast before leaving, Kerta drove us around everywhere we needed to go due to not having a bike for hire. The family speak amazing English, had our laundry done too.. I could go on for ever and ever and give them more than a 10* rating if possible, if you want to feel at home on your trip this is the place

Our stay at Kerta Family was the best accommodation expirience on Bali! They are really helpful people. That was better service than in 5 stars hotels. Rooms are quite big and comfortable. Kerta organized us trip to Nusa Lembongan and he bring us to harbour in Sanur.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the property is located in a really charming village. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the staff were some of the loveliest people I’ve met in Bali! So so welcoming and made me feel completely comfortable despite it being the first time travelling on my own.

The family is very friendly and hospitable. We had the feeling to be very welcome. It was in a village far away from the touristic places, so you had the feeling to enter the real Bali. The breakfast was so good with fresh tropical fruits. I really enjoyed the stay. I would always come back.

It was very far away from the city. Our room smelled not so nice.

Kerta and his wife are simply amazing. Waking up at 2am to get our breakfast ready, organise everything for us,.... The rooms are really clean and really comfy. A bit far from the city (20mim by motorbike) but so quiet.

The owner Kerta is really helpful with us and took a long time to explain the must-see nearby. The room is sparkling clean and the facilities are great. The most important for us was the quiet area. We had a wonderful stay

Felt welcome with Pak Kerta & Ibu Kerta’s hospitality, as the owner of this place. While in the morning She made us breakfast and at night, He drove us to Ubud. Felt deeply in love with everything about this place. No wonder the guest house that is filled with 4 rooms are always full during all kind of seasons. It’s not like everyday you get to spend only $30/night to a homey stay like this in Gianyar.
