What a beautiful location.It was like holidaying on the edge of Jurassic Park.If your looking for a beautiful beachfront location in the tropics with all the home comforts you could imagine then this is the piece of paradise you’ve been looking for.
The house is positioned on a secluded beach 15 minutes drive from Port Douglas with its restaurants,bars and shops.
If you want adventure then you are literally on the doorstep of the Daintree Forest and Great Barrier Reef.
I selected the property on the basis of the excellent reviews previously submitted.I and my family were not disappointed.
As a group of 5 we had space to be alone if we wanted and all the facilities of home.
The house was well stocked with toiletries,cookware,deck chairs and comfortable furniture.
The owners responded quickly to any questions we may have had.
We’ve stayed in some great places but this one was up there with the very best.
We were sorry to leave paradise!

The pool was just so delightful.

What a hidden gem!!! The location is private and you will definately need your own transport. The property is welcoming and has everything you need to sit back, relax and enjoy. It is clean and tidy and the swimming pool crystal clear. The view of the beach is perfect from the back deck and/or the upstairs deck. We loved our stay and will most certainly be coming back.

Our stay was amazing. I felt like we had our own private beach. The water was beautifully clear and warm! Make sure to bring your stinger suit Nov-May. The house was very comfortable! Close to town for shopping and restaurants! Close to the harbor for activities! The house contained all the amenities we needed for cooking and relaxing. The pool was amazing! My time there will be engraved in my memory for the rest of my life.

This house is exceptional! Beautifully presented home with every need catered for. The location was just WOW! To have breakfast on the deck while watching dolphins frolick in the Coral Sea was a once in a lifetime experience. As a 60th birthday family holiday, it was memorable in the very best way.

This is a beautiful property right on the beach on is located on a quiet, sublime street. Kitchen has everything you need. Linens and towels are nice. Beds very comfortable. Right on the ocean - listened to the waves all night long. Wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy the property.

We enjoyed an unforgettable week with our Australian family in this charming and well equipped holidayhome just a 12 minutes drive from Port Douglas. If needed assistance from our friendly host Fiona was always available.

Despite the weather being mixed during our stay, the house made it quite enjoyable - when raining, sitting on the couch looking out at the water was still relaxing. But when the sun came out, sitting out on the sun deck and cooling off in the pool was absolutely amazing. All the facilities were per the listing - really lovely. Thanks!

The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you could possibly ask for.
Only concern was the beautiful white couch, we landed up using beach towels to protect the furnishings.

House was exactly as pictured. We were greeted with wonderful giant butterflies on the flowers outside to a nice bottle of champagne waiting for us. Location is perfect and central to both Port Douglas and Cairns. Beach was wonderful for amazing sunrises and morning/evening strolls. A fully supplied Nespresso machine made my and our daughters trip. We even played Scrabble together in the evening. Only recommended addition would be a blender to make smoothies but everything else you need to cook, clean and enjoy the beauty of the rainforest and Coral Sea is there. Hosts were extremely responsive and very easy to contact. A little piece of paradise!

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed at Belle Roche and it’s absolutely superb ! The location makes you feel like you are on a deserted island with all the commodities with the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets and only a short distance from the restaurants in Port Douglas. The house is impeccably kept and very clean and the owners have thought of absolutely everything !

I would give this property 5 stars. What a wonderful restful retreat. This home was welcoming from the moment of entering the front door. And with a bottle of Moet in the fridge! The home is well organised and spotlessly clean. Every convenience you would want was there. The ambience was great and every piece of furniture was tasteful and blissfully comfortable, soooo important ( yet not often found) for a relaxing holiday. The beach welcomes you and is lovely to walk on. The sunrises stunningly beautiful. The hosts were easy to contact if necessary. Thank you for sharing your home, I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing stay in this beautifully presented home right on the beach.
The sound of the water was hypnotizing and so peaceful. I can’t recommend the owners communication high enough. They responded promptly and helped with anything we needed. We would definitely come and stay here again without any hesitation at all. Everything we needed was in the home even a lovely complementary bottle of wine. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in their beautiful home.

Wow. What an amazing location and such a beautiful house. The pictures on the website are absolutely spot on. It looks fabulous, and it is fabulous.
You just never get tired of that view. We weren't game to swim in the ocean with the various deadly critters, but that's okay, you can take in the breathtaking views from the comfort of the swimming pool. :-)
We spent half our time just hanging out at the house. Everything you could need is there. The furniture and beds are very comfortable, and there's a fantastic array of patio furniture. And if you feel like going out, it's a 10-15 minute drive to Port Douglas, which is a must-do as well.
Loved, loved, loved it! Five stars.

You can tell that the owners love their house and take great care of it. The house had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect. It was an easy drive to Port Douglas and all the sites. The kids would play on the beach for hours every day and the sunrises were stunning. I highly recommend this house.

Yes, it was simply superb! Stayed to celebrate my mum's 80th. Wow! It was just perfect. I can't put into words the beauty of the location, from the gorgeous palms and beachfront location to the billions of stars at night. We had a perfect view of the Milky Way as there were no street lights. The house was perfect in every way with everything you need to cook if you want, with a BBQ and multiple dinner settings so you can set up a beautiful table for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which we did every day, overlooking the beach. Beds and linen were first class and plenty of towels were provided. We loved the view and ambience so much we spent most of our time at home. The setting was spectacular and we swam in the pool each day! So much more to say but not enough space here! I have travelled extensively and by far, this is the best property I have stayed at. It was perfect in every way!

This was just the perfect place for me and my family to holiday in. A beautiful seaside house , beautifully kept , Lovely pool and direct access to Oak Beach. Close enough to Port Douglas but also far enough out of town to be able to just sit and relax . Would highly recommend this house , we will be back !

Magical!
This was the most amazing place I have ever stayed. It truly exceeded all of our expectations in every way! We eloped here on the private beach and it was magical. We can’t wait to come back one year to celebrate our wedding anniversary :)

Furniture good quality , bedding and linen lovely. Criticism - glass windows and doors to the view were dirty, some of the fly screens were ill fitted so did not work. When we arrived house smelt musty in two of the bedroom. I would book this house again but thought the price was high for the age and tireness of the house.
