This property is an A+ if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, peaceful stay on Lake Cumberland. Having direct access to the lake was awesome although the water was too cold for us to enjoy this time of year. Close enough to town to make it easy to access amenities but far enough away to enjoy the peace of the country. The property owner was super accessible and responsive and even gave us some suggestions for cool places to visit during our stay. Definitely go to Cumberland Falls if you get the chance! Highly recommend this property to anyone.

We enjoyed the visit, the house was very clean and comfortable. My husband loved using the dock. The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed to cook. The area was breathtaking with fall colors. I have limited mobility the stairs gave me some problems. It was a great time for both of us. Thanks

This property was fantastic and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The water access is also very helpful when you have kids that love to swim and fish. I would recommend this property

The house is very clean on the inside. Outside is ok could use some TLC. Neighborhood getting there is somewhat run down but close to the house is fine. Setting areas inside and out are outstanding for visiting with friends. Host was very good at responding when we needed anything.

We had a great time at the cabin. Some of the dishes were not clean and the upstairs commode was not working right, but sitting out on the deck was wonderful. The dock was huge.

Nice location and really enjoyed the dock access to the water. The power was out when we arrived due to a storm that came through and we had a few questions; Zach was very quick to help. Overall stay was very nice.
For future boaters: we have a 21ft 6in boat with a tandem axel trailer and it was a little tight to fit in the parking area. Once we figured out how to do this best we were able to get two trucks and boat parked infront of house. We did have to go around the block to turn around.

We have been visiting Lake Cumberland for 30+ years and this is one of our favorite houses! We LOVED having our own dock. The house is large enough to spread out in. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The property owner sent a detailed email with all the information we needed for our stay. We plan on renting this home again for a future stay!

This place is great for a family vacation and has a dock. It’s a bit far from the main lake, but this area of the lake is less crowded as well.

Everything was wonderful and easy to find. Only thing I would want is an outlet on the back porch. But everything was beautiful and sooo relaxing

House was very nice with well equipped kitchen. There was a fire pit but no seating around it & no firewood provided. Boat dock was pretty decent & path & stairs to dock were pretty good. It’s a bit of a hill but not too bad. Boat parking however was a little tough. Especially after a lot of rain. Next time I would put my boat in at Burnside marina & boat over to the dock & leave trailer at the marina. Overall we had good weather & a great time! Beautiful lake!!

Overall a great place to stay at Lake Cumberland. We enjoyed the privacy of the place and the private dock. Cabin was much bigger than I expected which is a plus. I do recommend updating all of cookware including pots and pans as they’re looking rusty and food gets very stuck on them. I also recommend providing Pam spray and aluminum Foil for use to eliminate any scraping of the pots and pans. We would love to come back sometime and definitely recommend to others.

This was our second year to stay at this lake house. It is always clean and well stocked . The dock is also such a plus if you have a boat!! The pool table also a hit with our adult group. Hope to be back again next year!

It’s not always easy to please everyone but my ENTIRE family wants to book this rental again! Such an amazing location, view, and fishing spot! The house was very spacious and had everything we needed too. Thank you for the wonderful memories celebrating our father’s 70th birthday!!!

Beautiful cabin in a remote area overlooking the lake. Lots of room to stretch out and enjoy the ver comfortable sofas, chairs, and beds. Stunning view of the lake. Excellent customer service from the owner. First-rate experience all around!

The property and listing was exactly as described. It had everything you needed to feel the comforts of home. Zachary was great to work with as we ended up extending our stay. Communication was great, the location of the property was easy to find, and the views were amazing. Highly recommend this property!

3 buddies fishing. Very comfortable and everything we needed. Pool table was a very nice feature after we finished fishing for the day. Owner very pleasant to speak with and responded right away. No issues, other than operator error on my part, with the heating/cooling unit in the downstairs bedroom.

We are 6 friends who get together as a group once a year. This house was very comfortable for us. The house itself had all of the things we needed to cook and relax. We particularly enjoyed the deck on the back. It overlooks the lake and has easily enough room to spread out there . We had kayaks that we took down to the dock and used every day we were there. Our kayaks weighed 45 lbs. but were not difficult to transport either way. The owner, Zac could not have been any nicer in terms of sharing information about the area and being accommodating. We felt very good about our stay there and were able to return home relaxed and wanting more of this scenery. and ambiance.

We had a wonderful time, the outside needs some maintenance but inside is fantastic! Our mosquito repellent bag along with my sunglasses disappeared off the porch we looked everywhere but pretty sure the squirrel that was always on the porch took them lol! I left some games and rafts hope someone can use them.

Just wished they could clear up small growth of trees etc. so you can see the dock and water better. The trail to dock needs a little TLC but overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation. Would book again!!

Downstairs master bedroom was amazing with a Jacuzzi tub and walkout patio to the lake. Very spacious living room and kitchen with lots of room to cook, gather and make memories. We took our boat and kept it tied up to the dock throughout the entire weekend which was great for short boat rides or all day adventures! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to stay ourselves again!

Short Get Away
The area is very quiet except for the occasional boat that goes by on the water. Very peaceful neighborhood. The cabin has a nice view, is well appointed and is comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We spent 4 days kayaking, jet skiing and just relaxing on the awesome deck that overlooks the water and on the private dock that comes with the property. The house is amazing and was on a quiet street with rarely a car going by. Will definitely rent again if I am ever in the area .

PERFECT Get-Away!
This trip to Burnside was the third of our Annual Family Getaway to Lake Cumberland and this property had everything we have been looking for! The lake access meant that we did not have to go anywhere and could enjoy the lake at everyone's leisure. We also were only 40 minutes from Cumberland Falls. Beautiful experience... Beautiful weather... Beautiful property... WE WILL BE BACK...!

Great Lakehouse
Great location on the lake, and having your own dock is such a bonus!! The pictures do not do this house justice. Very spacious and the pool table was a big hit with our adult crowd! Hopefully to be back next boating season!
