Towels smell of cigarettes Door couldn't be locked from the inside

We were greeted by the owner all smiles and that’s how our stay was. It is an excellent stop over after busy auroroute, and easy to get from autoroute. It’s a small hotel which is very reasonably priced. Our room was comfortable, clean, love,t big shower. It had a small terrasse out thru patio doors and that led to the garden, swimming pool and the restaurant terrasses which overlooks a babbling river. The setting is lovely. It on a main road but you’d never guess , it is tranquil and honestly fir the money u pay it’s an absolute gem. Breakfast was e tea but very adequate. We ate in the restaurant, well on the nice terrasses and the food was great I had st jaques and the scallops were huge….very well cooked too. My husband had a burger which he enjoyed. I would defiantly recommend this place. Ok the rooms are a bit tired but it’s an old building. They have a cute little dog and a sweet friendly cat, it’s very much a family run hotel with happy staff.

It was all good.

The check in was at 6pm quite late - and by 10am they were knocking on our door asking when we were going to leave. Despite there being a coffe machine behind the bar we were instructed to use a self service machine like in a garage - not great. The evening menu did not look inspired - the other people eating the food looked grey. We went elsewhere.

Breakfast and the coffee was very good, especially for a french hotel. it was possible to arrive very late, with a code via email. The lady from the reception/breakfast was very friendly.

it is Ok for 1 or 2 nights. especially because we had a marriage very close by.

Great value for money if you are looking for something between 100-150 for one night with 2 adults, a child and a pat. Friendly staff. Nice and clean swimming pool. Nice and clean room. Pet friendly. Very nice place to start your trip in this fantastic area, everything is near. Very nice restaurant just one door away. Easy parking.

Fresh towels on both days of the stay. Receptionist was welcoming. And there is a cute cat wondering around. Happy there was AC in the room to use on the hot days, but you wouldn’t like to have it on at night- noisy and blowing right on a bed.

Stayed two nights. The floor was dirty and I had to clean it myself, both days. The window of our room was facing a busy road. You can hear a TV from another room, people’s conversations, kids crying. There is no actual door to the bathroom - there is a curtain! The toilet is placed in a very peculiar way. And there is a hole 🕳 under shower basin. Old smell, unwashed bed cover on a bed. No duvet. For this price unfortunately the place is adequate to the standards.
