We had a good time in this beautiful home. We loved the privacy, quietness and calmness of the place. A few critters here and there (which is expected in a old-charm property) kept us excited :-). I would be glad to recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. There was plenty of room for my group of four adults and two children. Even though it is off of the highway it was very quiet. The sunset over the marsh was lovely. Everything was near by. I loved the outdoor shower. We will stay again.

We had a really great vacation. House is great for families. A lot of separate spaces for everyone to sleep and have alone time. View of creek is amazing and we had a breath taking sunset to enjoy. Yard is great for dogs/kids/swinging in the hammock. Love the location. Bike path Easy to jump on for a ride or a run! Don’t remember hearing rt 6 at all. Would definitely return again!!

We have stayed in this house two summers, and it is the best. Great location, convenient, wonderful views, quiet, and lots of room.

I stayed here with family and friends and we all enjoyed it very much. It is an older home, so if you are ok with that it is charming. Also very spacious. The views are amazing! The location is right off of route 6, and although you can hear traffic it didn't bother any of us. Short ride to beaches, restaurants, and Wellfleet center.

This house is in a beautiful setting with views out over an expansive marsh and great sunsets. The house is well equipped and comfortable as well as containing many lovely spots in which to relax alone or with family/friends. I hope to return at some point.

Nice property. Beautiful backyard overlooking the marsh. Good location. Plenty of room for people to spread out. Great amenities with air conditioning dish washer and the best of all washer and dryer.

Everything was great, very close to a (noisy) busy road was the only drawback.

It was a great spot, very convenient, big enough for our party of 5, and relaxing. We intend to rent again,

the house is surprisingly spacious and well appointed, especially on the upper floor. there is ample outdoor space, and a splendid view of Blackfish Creek. you will hear a hum of cars from nearby Rte 6 but you won't care. Management company was pleasant, efficient, and super helpful.

Pros: Convenient location to Provincetown, Wellfleet, Orleans, beaches and shops. Pricing for rental. Attractive property. Cons: Cleanliness was an issue. There was dirt, dust, cobwebs in the house, un-swept floors, mold in bathroom. Spiders were hanging from the ceiling. Missing light bulbs in multiple fixtures. some of the dishes and utensils were dirty. The main portion of the house is old with a rustic look. (Some may like this!) The kitchen eating area and back door had no window curtains or blinds to make it more private. My kids would not stay in the down stairs area at night because they felt exposed.

The view is absolutely beautiful from this vacation home. It was perfect for us and our dog, and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was perfectly clean and the check in/check out instructions were made very clear and easy by Del Mar Vacations. Definitely plan to come back next fall!

Owner was living in the house right next door and had landscape work done while we were there trying to enjoy our vacation. She was very polite but I always felt a little uneasy as I would have preferred a little more privacy. If this doesn't bother you then it's a great place, great spot.

Great view except the shed garage behind the house

I gave 5 stars but there were some minor but annoying problems. The water to the pedestal tub did not flow - could not use. Upstairs shower had hairs from previous user and tub appeared not to be clean. Light bulbs out in kitchen, no spares - had to swap bulbs. Had to get used to traffic noise from rt 6

Perfect rental for myself, my daughter and her fiancé & my small cockapoo dog. Home is charming, spacious for two families, clean, & well- appointed. Had all the amenities like an outdoor shower, a gas grill and plenty of pots, pans & dishes, for easy home cooked meals; A/C, internet, TV etc.. Loved having bedding & towels provided - a first. Plenty of space outdoors, a hammock & beautiful views of the marsh. Enjoyed Marconi Beach, Van Rensselaer Restaurant, & Boulangerie French pastries nearby. Would highly recommend this property to friends or family.

My family and I had an awesome week calling this our home. Gorgeous nightly sunsets, awesome outdoor shower, proximity to bike trails and lots of interesting rooms made this a perfect getaway. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking the perfect lobster dinner, and washer/dryer is conveniently located right off the kitchen. We'll definitely rent this again!!

Great views, wonderful yard, awesome house

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was perfect for us as the owner's fun, funky personality came out through her decor and style and we felt we'd be friends with her. Very comfortable, great airflow, we barely needed AC (though it was a cool week). My husband and I along with my brother, his wife, and their son all slept comfortably and there was plenty of space to explore and use. It really had everything we needed! We enjoyed working with Luke and they were great at getting back to us and helping with any issues or questions. Just really loved this old house, we miss it already! Hope to stay there again sometime! One quick suggestion would be screens all the way around the sun room. It was my favorite room, but could have used a bit more air.

We have been staying in Welllfleet for vacation the past 30 yrs and this is up there with the best. The view of the marsh, privacy, uniqueness, and convenience can't be beat. The home is wonderful. A new home is being built VERY close. This could affect privacy and quiet. I would suggest inquiring on Joe it will be used. -C

I came to Bay View House which overlooks Blackfish Creek with friends for the weekend. The house was perfect for us with just the right amount of beds, bathrooms and an amazing kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our special breakfast buffet. The house overlooks Blackfish Creek and we were treated to an amazing sunset the first evening. The house is spacious with lots of nooks for quiet times, and a fantastic sunroom for gathering. There is a vast assortment of books, movie and games. Although we didn't have the opportunity to utilize the backyard, the table and chairs and hammock looked very inviting. The location was perfect for our trip as we planned to visit Coast Guard beach and Provincetown. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Annie, who was delightful. Luke could not have been more helpful with our arrangements. We were visiting the Cape to scatter my husband's ashes and Luke was understanding and compassionate, even allowing a late checkout. I travel with this group of friends frequently and we would gladly return to Bay View House and book with Luke. Thank you Luke for everything.
