Enjoyed the stay and the house. No WIFI connection 😕

Our family had a wonderful weekend away. We had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days by the seaside.

Second time here. Owner very easy to deal with. House is quintessential family beach house. Short walk to beaches. Great value

Well-equipped holiday house, good location, excellent for a short break

Great beach house straight out of the 60s complete with flying ducks on the wall. Good location just a short walk to good coffee and beach. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Will book again

Great area - lot's to see and do. Nice bushy surrounds - tame magpies. Couple of issues on arrival - owner promptly assisted to get sorted. Will definitely go back to Cape Paterson.

Filthy and run down, whole place needs a revamp and new furniture. Top shower hot water doesn’t work at times. Cobwebs everywhere. Beds were ok though. Garden is overgrown and no driveway, spinning uphill every time with the car when entering the property. This place is surely not suitable to be rented out. Variety of board games and dvd’s that kept us busy. No cupboards for clothes. Best to pay little more for a decent place to rent.

Great older style house, nice upstairs living space, views and BBQ. Well equipped kitchen and super location.

Neat, comfortable accommodation. Had fun with the vinyl collection. Easy access and no probs with communication.

We had a very enjoyable break. It's an older style home, in a good location. Living area is light and airy, very comfortable. Heaps of jig saws, games, records and DVD's to entertain you if the weather is inclement.

A very lovely place to stay. It was close to the beach, very clean and had all amenities one could require. Fresh coffee for plunging was supplied and was a very nice touch.

Michael’s house was very comfortable and had everything we required.The position was great and we could walk to the beach if we wanted .Michael accommodated as at very short notice and we appreciated that very much .I would like to say we would be back but coming from Scotland I could not say when we would return to Australia. Cape Paterson was a great place to visit though and I would recommend it

A clean, well-worn but comfortable and spacious house in a quiet residential street. Easy and helpful communication with owner. Wide selection of DVD’s and games. Well equiped kitchen. We had a great short break there.

The upstairs/downstairs arrangements worked well with us oldies upstairs and the family downstairs. Good to have two bathrooms. And an expansive living space for everyone upstairs with verandah and great view of the ocean. We enjoyed the puzzles and board games in the cupboard and the dedicated table for them. We loved this house.

Its a quaint little house, has almost everything u need really. The location is in a great spot very close to the beach and to cape tavern. The house provided entertainment especially with the amount of records to listen to and numerous dvds to watch at night. Cozy little get away, would recommend the house to others.

Great location for a relaxing time in a lovely coastal area of Victoria. And a nice property for 4 adults to stay in. High up in the trees, with some very sociable local crows. We made great use of the extensive DVD library An instruction folder for various household appliances was handy, but a page of introduction to the property and local facilities would also be appreciated.

Lovely home with a great relaxing space, close to shops, pubs and the beach. Also lots of cute vintage stores in town!

Had another great time staying at Cape Paterson. First time at this property full of retro charm. Especially enjoyed listening to the retro vinyl collection whilst having pre dinner drinks on the balcony. Loads of DVD’s and boardgames to keep everyone occupied when the weather is not beach friendly. Would return.

I really enjoyed this house which pays homage to the last century but at the same time provides the 21st century holiday maker with all the necessary facilities such as air conditioning and dishwasher. The house has ocean views and you can play Beach Boys albums on the record player as you put another shrimp on the barbie. Michael was very easy to deal with and we would definitely stay there again.

Somewhat dated setup but in the end perfect for family and kids

My mum & I had a wonderful time at Moonah Blue! The beds were incredibly comfortable (best sleep my mum had in ages), the water pressure in the shower was great, and the place is clean and very spacious. We took rooms on different levels and each had our own bathroom. What a luxury! We loved seeing the ocean view from the loungeroom each day too. Given the size of the house, I can imagine Moonah Blue making a perfect holiday getaway for two couples with a couple of kids too. There’s also a treasure trove of puzzles and games in the hallway cupboard too. Michael was a great host with prompt communication and tips for beach walks to do in the area. We got some amazing sunset shots over the water thanks to his local knowledge. The whole experience made for a very relaxing trip away and some wonderful memories for my mum and I. Thank you, Michael. We will be back as soon as we are able!

My wife and I along with our two sons have just spent 2 weeks over Christmas/ New Year at the house. We have been going to Cape Paterson for Christmas for around 6 years and this was our best holiday ever. The house was great. Living areas are spacious and light filled, ocean views which is rare at Cape houses, great with bedrooms up and downstairs and an internal staircase which is also rare. The house was also well fitted with everything we needed. We liked it so much that we've already booked again for next Christmas. We highly recommend this property.

Overall great value for money, the owner was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The bed was a tad springy and the carpets need replacing but everything else was great. Would stay again 👍

Don’t be put off by the first impression being the staircase! This is a beach house hence lots of beachgoing foot traffic. The living area has lots of light and fresh air. The furnishings are minimal and basic. No stress about damaging expensive sideboards! Well equipped house with everything you need. Comfy beds. Definitely a no frills house but ticks all the boxes for a relaxing break.

We love cape paterson ,this was our third time down there and the best house yet .. Enourmous deck with a sea view sun shineing sea breeze sittingg equal to the tree tops Divine...loved it ..everything you need at the house ..great feel retro house .really enjoyed the records ..highly recomend ..thanks clare
