The property was beautiful with gorgeous views from the back deck. Communication with the owner was very easy and he was very responsive to all my questions. The only issue that I could say would be the road that passes by the house is busy. But that is not the owners fault. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Our family loves vacationing at this place in Pittsburg. Lake Francis is beautiful and the house is very accommodating. James, the owner is very easy to work with. Mt. Magalloway, and Garfield Falls are nearby places we enjoy.

Communication with owner was great and the home was very clean. Pictures don’t show that it’s directly on the road and that the yard was shared with another cabin. Not a huge deal and wouldn’t have changed my mind on renting, just would been nice to know. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and I would stay there again myself.

We used this property to host our small team of 6. This property was perfect for us. We spent two nights, everyone had their own space and there were two rooms that were great for gathering. The deck overlooking Lake Francis was our favorite place! The owner was communicative and helpful and we ran into 0 issues with the property. Thanks for a great stay!

It was relaxing even though you're beside the road. It was quiet the bird feeders. The wind chimes off the deck and the view of the lake is unbelievable. It is quite a ways away from the lake.

The home is big enough for family and friends. We loved sitting on the back deck overlooking lake Francis . Looking forward to our next stay.

We were very excited to see what we had rented. This was our first time in VRBO. The pictures did it justice. The weather was not what we were hoping for. The house was. It was well stocked with what we needed down to the dishwasher which was very much appreciated. Our complaints are that the beds were so uncomfortable. The mattresses were too soft. And there was no tissues in the house we had to use toilet paper. Other then that it was awesome and exactly what we needed. The view of the water was wonderful, the games we played from your game selection was great. The location was great. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope to do it again. Great place, beautiful view. The only thing that was a distraction was the “highway” that passes close by the door. Otherwise it was perfect

We had such a relaxing time sitting on the deck out back. Great location for kayaking or just sitting by the fire. Every amenity offered so it was truly like living at home. You can hear the traffic go by at night because it's so close to the road, but I'd have no problem staying here again and again. Hoping to book again next year!

Five adults stayed in this property and enjoyed it very much! It is close to the ATV trails and has great views of Lake Francis. There was plenty of room in this comfy cabin!

The views are stunning-as promised! The house is quite large and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. But, the deck was by far the best part. We brought a canopy as suggested, and sat outside most of the time. My husband brought his small boat and beached it for the week. He fished frequently. For a restaurant-we highly recommend Full Send. Ate there breakfast and dinner. Delicious. Sandwiches at Young’s were excellent also. We had a wonderful time! Loved the house!

The layout of the house is awesome for a lot of people, plenty of room to do different things. The backyard was perfect for corn hole, Kan Kam, fire pit and just hanging out.

Dirty/Unsanitary
We stayed with this host for a long weekend, at the end of our stay unfortunately we found mouse droppings and trash(from the mice) in the beds. This is something you wouldn't find unless you were stripping the beds. The same was found in the couch under cushions. The main part of the house was decent but the "extra space" was less than ideal. The beds were squeaky, not level and not in great condition. Reached out to the owner about uncleanliness with no response. Reached out to VRBO and they will try to get owner to contact us. Left our contact info on table with complaint and also sent message through the app, no response. Housekeeping is not taken seriously here.

The property manager Melissa was amazing to work with, I has a last minute request due to a oversight on my part and she accommodated it without hesitation something most would not do.

Our ( temporary) place up north!!
The home was beautiful, warm, comfortable, and very large. From the minute you walked in you felt comfortable, and at home. The deck was huge, and the view of the lake was so beautiful, it made me want to sleep outside! The hosts were wonderful, and responded quickly. We will revisit this home again.

Wonderful Stay!
This was our third year staying there. The view from the deck is wonderful, the vacation home itself is comfortable and cozy. You have great places to walk and are close to some great eats and the town of Colebrook. We definitly give it a thumbs up!

The perfect getaway
We couldn’t have picked a better property to stay at during our Labor Day weekend trip. The house was much bigger than we anticipated by the pictures and there was lots of space for everyone to hang out comfortably. The view on the back deck of the lake was unbeatable and being under the stars out on the deck at night when it was a clear night was absolutely mesmerizing. The check in process was so incredibly easy and the house had everything we needed. I can absolutely see us reserving another weekend here in the future!
