Amazing homestead with stunning views. Relaxation, close proximity for exploring the Blue Mountains and breathtaking views. Home is really well presented! We had a wonderful time!

Stunning, breathtaking location. We arrived a few days before Christmas and had a lovely, restful time. Well equipped house, with everything we needed. Clean and comfortable, with many spaces to relax and enjoy the environment. Half an hour to Blackheath, with a lovely, picturesque drive. Loved the cafe and vineyard nearby. My father described the week as his most memorable Christmas.

Beautiful old house well restored. Amazing outlook- we wished we could have relaxed more but were busy with preparations for our daughter's wedding. Well equipped and handy to have extra space available. Great fire , furniture..loved the verandah and view. Would have liked a regular oven.

Nine of us, excited to be guests at a wedding at the Megalong Community Hall, fitted easily into the homestead and cottage, rapt that our wheelchair bound member had acceptable access, though not perfect.. very few places are, unfortunately. We enjoyed shared meals and relaxing on the verandah, being wowed by the magnificent beauty of the land. And the wedding was beautiful too. Beds were great, everything great. Thanks so much, we loved our stay 😊

We had a wonderful weekend away soaking up the stunning views. The house was cosy and comfortable. Two days felt like ten. A great find.

GlynNewydd has become our family's first choice for our annual family Winter getaway. The location is beautiful with awesome views, plenty of space for young, older and the furbabies. The house & cottage are well appointed and have everything we need. We also get to take home some locally produced olive oil which is a bonus!

It was very comfortable and cosy. The views from this property were to die for Would return and there were so many different birds. The 2 horses were very friendly and lots of kangaroos. This is an excellent place for children

Beautiful home with the most stunning view of the mountain ranges. Perfect for a family getaway, the house has everything you need and more, so private and peaceful and the kids just loved visiting Mackie and Zorro the resident horses every day. We’lll be back.

A roomy welcoming house and cottage in an idyllic quiet location with spectacular views. Beautiful verandahs and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. The central heating in the main house was brilliant and the slow combustion heater and plentiful firewood in the cottage kept us warm on a cold night. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a weber barbecue on the verandah which we also used. The forty acre property provides good strolls but there are also bush walks nearby for those who want more of a challenge. Highly recommended.

Great location. Close to Six foot walk and 2 lovely wineries. Beautiful views and facilities. Sat on the verandah and watched the stars. Warm snug house. Fire started easily and electric blankets warm on the beds.

We used both the main house and the cottage which was perfect for our party of 3 couples and two singles. Plenty of space for all of us. The views from the property towards the Blue Mountains escarpment are spectacular- as per the picture on the website. The property is fronted with sweeping paddocks down to the bush, making for beautiful views and in the evenings the kangaroos came out. The location is a bit remote - the road from Blackheath is currently full of potholes and being mended so the road to civilisation is nearer 30 minutes than 15. (Don’t bring the Ferrari). That didn’t really matter at all for us - we ate at the property every evening using the functional barbecue. Recommended nearby walk - 6 foot track - a great bush walk Overall, we had a great stay and the Megalong Valley is a magical location.

We were in the Megalong Valley for a wedding and the house and cottage were perfect for our family to stay. Well equipped and beautiful. We enjoyed the peacefulness and will certainly be back!

This was a great house to stay in to get ready for a Wedding!! There was plenty of room and the photos of our daughter before leaving to get married have turned out sensational. We were lucky enough to meet the owner before our stay and she was just lovely and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this house if getting married in the Megalong Valley to any Bride and her Family.

Wonderful location nestled in the Megalong Valley. Lots of space for extended family/friends groups and for dogs to run around. Fantastic views to the escarpment from the wraparound verandah. Lovely property!

This property is just what’s needed for a relaxing getaway. Comfortable, well equipped and in the most gorgeous location. Sunrises & sunsets spectacular, mist in the valley, Roos in the paddock, so may beautiful parrots and feeding carrots to the horses, was our happy place for too short a time.

We had 8 adults and 3 kids. There was plenty of space and we had the best time. Indoor and outdoor activities for all. Lots of seating and beds/house was able to be kept lovely and warm with a fire and heating. I would recommend bringing some pre-cooked meals as the nearest supermarket is about 30mins away but theres a great bbq if that’s not for you! Also bring marshmallows for the fire :) Thanks so much for having us. Would definitely book again!

A wonderful property that suits a large family group. Relaxing on the back verandah watching the sun ‘dance’ around the escarpment in the afternoon is magical. Communication with the owners was very easy and they provided all the information needed. Highly recommend this property for your mountain escape.

We had a chance to sit back and enjoy the views. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked.

We spent just 2 days here but had a wonderful relaxing stay. Just sitting on the verandah looking at the view was the perfect tonic to life’s stresses. Hope to make this an annual pilgrimage.

We enjoyed every moment at this property. The host was easily contactable and everything was well presented at the house. The grounds were well maintained and the horse were very friendly.

This property was an absolute delight for our family to stay in. The house and wrap around verandah were lovely with stunning views of the megalong valley. It had so many activities for the kids. They loved the horses and the tractors! Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back.

Such a great location. Peaceful and quiet. Evalyn and Robert were super helpful and friendly. the location was amazing and the views were stunning. Great layout of the house and with the extra cottage, room for us and friends without being on top of each other. The verandah was the best part of the house - we sat drinking wine and took in the views every night!

Plenty of space for 4 couples and 2 singles. The dogs loved it - they were very tired at the end of everyday from walks and swimming. And the view - wow. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions.
