This place was just amazing, the hosts were incredibly kind, I would highly recommend for anyone. The landscape is breathtaking, the village is very calm and nice. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thank you so much!!! The only thing is google maps takes you on the upper side of the house where you can’t access it by car. If travellers arrive at night it is easy to miss the sign, so information ahead of arrival could be helpful!

The little dog, could use more leisure space for when you just want to relax (hammocks, lounge chairs, etc), no confirmed check-out time online so we were pushed out unexpectedly in the morning

Absolutely amazing experience. We made a mistake in booking and showed up one day earlier in the middle of the night. They were fully booked but offered us place to set up tent for the night free of charge. Breakfast and dinner was great. Staff was very helpful and nice, they spoke good English and responded quickly on Booking chat. It is a good base to start one-day trips to Blue Eye or waterfall, even though it is 2km to “central” Theth. The views from the place are stunning.

Some beds have really sagging mattresses.

Really nice guesthouse with great hosts, and the view is incredible. The food is also exceptional. We came over the pass from Valbona, and it is an easy walk of about 2km along the road from the trailhead. The wifi works well, but didnt work in our room on the top floor.

Very lovely people running the property, good hot shower and comfortable bed. The dinner (for $10 euros per person) was delicious and great value for money and so was the breakfast. We slept here after walking over the Valbone pass and it was great. Thanks so much!

Lovely place with the best home made food ever! We felt very welcome and the host was so friendly. We stayed one more night extra, because we liked this place so much. We definitely recommend this!

The food was excellent! So fresh, well-prepared, and well-presented. We ate dinner there each night as well because of the quality and value.

There are no barriers (edge/curtain) around the shower, so the entire bathroom floor gets wet. A minor inconvenience compared to the lovely qualities of the property and the hosts.

Flexible and friendly staff; they picked us up at end of the trail hike. Remote location with stunning view. They grow their own vegetables.

Toilet: no proper shower, shaky toilet. Bedroom: a bit outdated.

The owner was very kind and helpful. Location was quiet and close to the track to Mt. Harapit. Breakfasts were gut and dinners were great.

The road from Theth there is real offroad. So kind of SUV is a must. I was feeling sorry for rented Duster and as central European driver I was little bit scared. But Duster made it and house owner mentioned that she drives it even with VW Golf:-)

The BEST place ever found in Albania. Great spot, lovely family, incredible dinner and breakfast, all made with their own products... Lovely rooms, so fresh in summer time. Do not hesitate !

This is such a wholesome place to stay. The hosts are so lovely and you really feel part of the family. There was so much home made food at each meal. I have a nut allergy and the hosts took this really seriously and made some items differently for us which I really appreciated, I felt safe eating here. I found the rooms are in person much better than pictured. If you want 5 star luxury this isn’t for you - but if you want a warm authentic Albanian family hotel experience I recommend most highly.

The shower isn’t ideal as it lacks a screen but this is such a minute detail. It didn’t change my high opinion of our stay. Worth noting the location is not in central Theth but a good 20 min walk.

Unless you have a 4x4, the road to the property isn't suitable for average city cars. For example, lots of stones in the path, you have to cross a river etc - much better to park near the mini market and walk the last 2km to the property

The place is in an amazingly beautiful location, very calm and homey. The owner is really sweet and a great cook. We had dinner and breakfast there and everything was delicious.

The heating system was broken in our room and it was really cold, but the owner provided blankets and everything to warm our beds so it was fine. The road to get there is very bumpy but manageable with a regular car.

The host cooks very nice food for just €10/pp. She arranged the private transport for us from Theth to tirana at an amazing price. She was always happy to help be it arranging taxi to Blue Eye, or preparing food. Just brilliant. Thank you.

Everything was perfect, the atmosphere of being in a quiet valley with views that stay with you forever. The 30 min stunning walk from Theth town made it even more special walking amongst such greeness. The host and her family showed such warmth, the father with his generosity of sharing his reiki,and the host was amazingly delightful. We ate every night the most delicious,organic food, such an abundance also. What a cook. Delicious. Slept so well in the peaceful surrounds. We will be returning for a longer stay. Thank you for being the perfect hosts. I felt sad leaving.

Unfortunately the hearing was in repair at the time. Luckily she gave me an Albanian hot water bottle!!!

The booking was easy and the owners very correct. Since there were not many people staying, they gave us a better room with the better view. The food was very tasteful, bio, great free breakfast and very good and cheap dinner. The place was fantastic, in the north of Theth, a quiet area and a spectacular view of the mountains surrounding the property. Its better than the other places because you feel the real life of that place. It is a family business with very nice people which can offer you free story telling of the village past life and traditions. The road to the property is very beautiful, it is another experience.

The property does not have heating. And I think in the late autumn might be cold, but we didn't asked for a heater so maybe if you need something they will bring it to you. The other thing is that you need a car that is a bit high from the ground to go to the property, because the road can be a bit difficult in some places going to the property.

The electric was out while I was there, but this was in the entire village and the host had no control over this. It was pretty chilly in the room… I don’t believe they have many guests in the fall.

It was an amazing experience! The family is super welcoming, the ambient is really cozy. The toilette has a bidet. The food is really tasty and from their production! Really recommend! Only thing: the road to get to there is a bit tricky with a regular car but doable!

We had a wonderful stay at Bujtina Kometa. The bed was very comfortable, shower powerful and hot. Tasty breakfasts and dinners with a homemade raki. our hosts were very attentive and helpful and we were even driven back to the centre on the day of our departure. The view outside is spectacular! We would love to come back!

It's a really beautiful place in a quiet area, a little far but it's the best to be in nature more than places with buses and many accommodations around you, we really love the famly, they're so nice, kind and friendly people, you really need to meet them, we love their fresh organic food and mountain tea, believe me you will feel so good there, highly recommended

The family is very nice, helpful, great people. We've been asked if we would like to have dinner, raki, coffee. We accepted everything and haven't regretted it. The food is plentiful and very tasty. The hike from the accomodation to the blue eye which was crowded (middle of sept) took us 8 hours altogether. On foot the whole time. Start the hike early if you want to go there. The view from the property can not be described with words or pictures.. you have to go and see it yourself. Little white/black fluffy cutiepie of a dog. Fall in love. <3 Owner spoke english very well.

The road there from the center is narrow, steep and full of rocks. Also on arrival, we chose to turn left from the asphalt road with our standard car and regretted it very, very much. Better go on the asphalt road until the center, and then north. Ask the owner where to turn later on the road, and don't miss the little wooden sign as we did. The water from the river is very cold and that is how they keep the drink cold, so there is a continuous flow of water gurgling under our window which made me go to the bathroom 5-6 times that night.. :-D In mid sept the rooms were very cold. We had a blanket, but we slept in 2 hoodies, because of the draught. My face was cold otherwise. Prepare for this and it won't be a problem.

Road to hostel is terrible

A little out of the town in a quiet hamlet the peace an quiet an fantastic views of the village and surrounding mountains..brilliant

at 10 Euros the evening meal was a little expensive ..quality fine
