Beautiful house with great amenities. The rooms were very spacious. The host was so gracious to us and even let us check in early. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone and will return in the future.

This us our 2nd time staying for a fall weekend away to do a tour of the breweries/cideries/wineries.
Perfectly relaxing, clean, well stocked, spacious, comfortable furniture and bedding. Love having the hot tub to end a long perfect day. Nice paths to walk the neighborhood. Had Tee time, but got cancelled from overnight rain. Next time want to bring tennis rackets, didn't realize we had access to amenities. This will be on top of our list for next year too! The 3rd night was well worth having! Thanks Marla!

What a fantastic weekend! We rented this property for a family wine-trasting weekend and it could not have been more wonderful. The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and incredibly well stocked. The location was perfect for visiting all the breweries and wineries. We were 5 couples and had plenty of space. We loved hanging out on the screened in porch. I can't say enough - we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here... there were 6 adults and lots of cooking and TV enjoyment. Water heater didn't quite keep up for showers, so we just staggered them... The owners were prompt on any inquiries and we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The SPACIOUS back porch was WONDERFUL (and deer that came to visit a few times made it even better!).
The kitchen was incredibly well stocked... no need to bring anything... and having plenty of towels and TP in bathrooms.. nice!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house was clean and very comfortably accommodated my family for my son’s graduation. It was a bit of a drive to campus but it was easy to get there. There are several wineries, breweries and restaurants near the house as well. I would stay here again

This was our favorite home we have stayed at in the area so far. It was a great size with multiple master suites. It is perfect for multiple families. We liked that it was not located up on the mountain so it was easier to access. The hot tub and screened in porch were wonderful. We even enjoyed playing games and just spending time together in the large gathering area. We will be looking to book here again for our stays and highly recommend it. The host was always very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

Was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Loved the layout and plenty of sofas to allow a nice gathering space after dinner. Best home we have rented and will consider another stay in the future since it's located near many vineyards and breweries. A 5star stay for sure

Loved the 3 king suites, great for our group of adults. Very spacious rooms and common areas. Newer appliances, super well stocked with everything! Pretty mountain view from front porch. Private wooded lot nestled in upscale golf community. Walking trail. 5 mins drive to Paul's Creek hike. Marla was very responsive to maintenance issue. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This property did not undersell! With an excellent central location for local food, beer, wine, cider, distilleries, and even meads, gastro tourists of all stripes can find something for their stomachs! The house itself was laid out well for our group of 10 which included adults and children in all of the common areas, a difficult order in many homes! The owner was responsive and pleasant and we had no issues in our interactions with them or the resort the property is on. :)

Graduation weekend
Plenty of space, great location- close to wineries and breweries and walking paths. Loved the deck! Owner very accommodating with early check in and recommendations. Surprised that there were not some basic kitchen items- salt or sugar etc.. That is not typical and would have been helpful to know in the description of the property.

Wonderful stay in wine country
The home was beautiful and set in the majestic mountains of VA. It’s a quick 20 minutes to some of the best wineries and 2 miles from large breweries like Bold Rock. The home was large enough to comfortably fit a group of 12 with gathering areas such as the large screened in porch and beautiful vaulted ceilings living room.

Exceeded my expectations!
Wow! I can't speak highly enough of Marla and her property. She was accommodating to our every need and ensured a relaxing stay in her beautiful mountain home. Some of the highlights - ample parking, large screened-in porch, close to a grocery store and comfortable beds. The kids especially loved the hot tub! We will definitely be back. Look no further; you've found the perfect place.

Great views and close to everything
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We had a few couples get away for a weekend with out kids to relax and have dinner and drinks at the local brewery and wineries. Great location. Place was super clean. The layout of the home is great with 3 master suites was perfect for us. We will surely be back next fall.

Family fun weekend-short drive
We came up for a 3 day weekend. The kids enjoyed playing games together and soaking in the hot tub. Everyone had plenty of room. We got tickets to go snow tubing the morning of check out. Two of the kids had never been tubing and had a blast. Was enjoyable weekend trip for the family. The dryer needs to be looked at. There is some sort of service light on the wall panel behind it saying it needs service and the dryer did not always want to cut on even after cleaning the lent filter.

Cozy, quite, perfection
We loved everything about our stay! The home offered such a great space for multiple families and very welcoming.
We skied/tubbed, played board games, & ate all weekend!
The home was clean and well prepared for our needs as far as cooking.
The only negative was that we could have used some extra towels because of the kids using the hot tub. So if you’re coming, maybe grab a few beach towels.

Perfect spot for a friends weekend away!! Spacious, very clean and super comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, plenty of comfortable seating inside and out on the porch! Relaxing hot tub on private wooded lot, felt very safe! Easy access to local wineries and attractions, would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful location
We have stayed many times up on the mountain at Wintergreen and decided to change and try to find a place at the foot of the mountain. This property was so nice and in the perfect spot for all our day trips. The house was well equipped and very clean. All our friends thought the screened porch was so enjoyable and each room having a bathroom was a big plus. We will definitely stay here again!

My family and two other families wanted a house off the mountain for a quick get-away weekend. This house was just as described online. Very clean, great size for our group, and the owner was very responsive and accommodating to all of our questions prior to arrival. No issues during our stay, and would definitely return!

Perfect Location for Exploring the SR 151 Craft Beverage Trail
This is a lovely house with room to spare. We enjoyed having separate rooms with bathrooms so that everyone could spread out, but gather in the common room or dining area when we wanted to be social. It is located in a beautiful golfing community with walking trails and biking trails. The large, screened-in porch was popular with the whole family. The SR 151 is nearby and allows visitors to go to wineries, meaderies, cideries, and fruit farms. Close to Charlottesville which allows for easy day trips. Would visit again-- highly recommended.

Nelson 151 retreat
Wonderful weekend at Tranquility Retreat. House is very nice and spacious. Awesome kitchen, fully equipped. Private, quiet location near restaurants and Nelson 151 breweries and wineries. Home even had cornhole boards! Owner super cooperative and very accommodating. Hot tub was an added treat. Will stay there again!

Perfect Weekend Mountain Getaway
This mountain home at Wintergreen Resort was an absolutely beautiful place to stay for the weekend. The pictures don't do the house justice. It exceeded expectations and was very clean, fully stocked with all necessary amenities, and extremely spacious. Marla was very attentive and provided quick responses and support. If you are looking to check out the breweries, wineries, and cideries all along 151 or are interested in skiing at Wintergreen then I highly recommend booking here as it is a great location and will have everything you need.

Home Away From Home
This is quickly becoming our go to getaway spot! We stayed here in October for our friend’s birthday and this weekend celebrated two other birthdays. The house is absolutely perfect for a group, with the three master sweets, the queen and the bunk room it allows for privacy and plenty of space for everyone.
This house truly has everything you need, from
a huge kitchen, to the wrap around porch, hot tub, and large dining room table for shared meals or games. I cannot say enough good things!
The owners are lovely to communicate with and incredibly responsive prior to and during the stay. We have already talked about booking our next trip back here.
