This house has a nice open plan. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and any utensil you could need. Our family had a great visit.

This is our second time staying here. House is great for a group. Everyone has their own bathrooms! Kitchen is well equipped. And the screened porch and deck are great.

Our family had a nice reunion in this dog-friendly Galena territory home. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, porch swing, hot tub and screened in porch. Galena Territory itself wasn't all that I had hoped for but the home was perfect. We rent a home each year for a family gathering and this was the best we've rented so far.

For the past 5 years we have rented in Galena for the Memorial Day long weekend. This was our favorite place out of all of them. There were enough bedrooms to easily accommodate our family of 6. There was outdoor space for the kids to play, and the firepit was great. Plenty of space for family games and relaxation. The screened in porch was amazing. We were very happy to be able to take our dog along with us this time as well. I would highly recommend this location.

Been to Galena for 15 years did not like they told me I could not use the pool until 4pm. We always were able to pick up passes and enjoy the pool before 4pm as I had my grandchildren wanting the pool. The house was not clean. The floor in kichen was dirty. There was dust on the tables. The Mr Coffee took 1 hour to brew a pot of coffee. The downstairs bedrooms were cold and my grandchildren had to sleep with 3 blanks but the upstairs was fine so if we put the heat on the upstairs was hot. There were gnats in the downstairs bathroom. I had never had any of these issues in other Galena houses.

This was home-base for an annual gathering of long-time friends. Through pictures descriptions and correspondence, we could tell exactly what we were getting. The bedrooms and en suites were clean and comfortable. I especially liked the owner’s suite. The living areas were very comfortable. We really enjoyed gathering on the deck backing up to the forest. The entire group really enjoyed the whole property.

Nice place in a peaceful setting north of Galena- nice trails just outside the door for hiking. Location was a little farther from downtown Galena that we anticipated but that is a very minor thing. Good comfortable house with plenty to do.
Note: Dog-friendly for sure but bring some gates if you want to keep them on a certain floor of the house!

The property was great! If we could’ve stayed longer we would have! Everything was in pretty great shape and the management was very responsive and accommodating! The only thing I would change is the couch in the lower game room. It’s not terrible, but it’s been well loved in the house and is probably due for an upgrade in the near future. There is a 100% chance that we would book again!

Great house and location for a family getaway with our adult children and our grandchild. We made use of the fire pit, the hot tub, pool table, nearby trails, and pool at the owner’s club. Loved having four bedrooms each with their own bathroom and the ability to bring our dog.

Excellent rental for our family of 7! Great quiet street, plenty of space, and super clean! We enjoyed a perfect working hot tub and used the comfortable screen house the most. Beds and linens were comfy and plenty of accessories in the kitchen made things easy. It's easy to see how well the owners of this rental care for their home and guests. Not a criticism but merely a suggestion would be for some non slip grips on the beautiful hardwood stairs and the shower floors. But this rental is a definite gem. Also it was equally wonderful communicating with Linda. She was super helpful and great to work with.

This is the second time we stayed at this property. I highly recommend this house for a large family stay. It's dog friendly. The owners provide lots of extra fun stuff. We did have to call the owners while we were there with a minor issue.. One phone call and somebody came out to fix the problem within hours..Excellent weekend stay.

This is the second year we stayed at this house. Nice setup for three families. Love using the hot tub. Nice that we can bring our dog. Just be aware of the people across the street, they may tell you to not let your dog do anything on their yard (happened to us both years). We always pick up after our dog.

We had a wonderful stay at Talisman. The house had so much room and we loved how every bedroom had a bathroom. Our two little ones loved everything about this home from the fire pit to the screened in porch, even the hot tub. The location was great and the home was perfect.
Con: the cleaning service could have done a better job. There was food still from previous renters left on the table and a few other things that weren’t paid attention to that should have been.

There were many things we brought that we didn’t need because they were already there (large beach towels, lots of seasonings, wide assortment of baking dishes, wine opener, etc)! House was very comfortable and laid out nicely. We had four couples and we all had plenty of room with our own bedroom and bathroom. Felt like we were at home.
Roads are very intertwined in this area so have your navigation handy and working, but you get on to the roads fairly easy.
We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to this house. The only thing we noticed was one ceiling fan didn't work and the hot tub cover strap was broken and taped. Otherwise a great time and skiing was awesome!!
Thank you to the owners and the management team who made this process very easy. Even took our two small Boston Terriers and they had a ball.

Instead of having a Christmas party, my daycare teachers said they'd rather go to Galena for a couple nights for a staff retreat. We looked at a few different properties but as soon as we saw this one, it was the one everyone wanted. The house was amazing. Spacious but still cozy. We loved the whole feel of the house and took advantage of the Owner's Club and the backyard hot tub. One morning over breakfast we were delighted to see 4 deer coming through! Such a peaceful place to be. All my staff said they would love to visit the same house again in the summer to be able to take advantage of the cute screened porch and the firepit.

We hiked the trail that goes right by the house, enjoyed the hot tub, and the beautiful spaces within the house and even the screened porch with the mild weather! Some things need to be fixed/updated but overall the house was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The management company was helpful.
