Francesco is a lovely host. The apartment is impeccable with every amenity. So thoughtful with coffe and various coffee makers. Plenty of towels and great linens. It was our favorite of the 5 rentals we stayed in on our trip. And in a great and quiet neighborhood with a lift. Definitely will go to Francesco's again.

We enjoyed our stay at Francesco's apartment so much! It has a cozy feeling to it, beautiful views of the hills, in a great neighborhood, and everything that you need - extremely comfortable! Location is great. Walk to everything you want to see. Apartment is perfect nice and airy! Well appointed! Clean and Quiet! Got a little noisy on the weekend but tolerable. Neighborhood filled with great restaurants , small shops bakeries so much to see ,eat and drink. A definite five star stay!! Bed was very comfortable . Looked like the kitchen was well well equipped,,although we did no cooking! Don’t hesitate book this one for Florence!

Francesco has a beautifully appointed apartment in a historic building that's perfectly located for sightseeing and dining. He was friendly and incredibly responsive when we needed help with the AC, and I'd happily recommend this spot for anyone staying in Florence.

Perfect Florence Apartment - great location near many attractions, restaurants, shops and one block from Arno river. Francesco was a very responsive & helpful host. He met us at check-in, helped book a taxi, and checked in during our stay to make sure all was well. I would definitely recommend this Florence Apartment!

Great location! Easy walking distance from everywhere in the old city and right next to a bus stop for a short ride to Firenze S.M.N. and easy connections to busses servicing the rest of the city. Spacious but cody apartment had fine views out over the rooftops to the Boboli Gardens for quite the romantic sunset streetwatching. Was great to have a kitchen after several days of tiny hotel rooms. Would absolutely love to stay here again! Thanks for having us >^..^<_)

This charming apartment is in a perfect spot, just outside the massive tourist throng. Our host Francesco was splendid and was always willing to help. This is a great spot for seeing all of Florence's old town (Il Centro) on foot. Highly recommended!

Nice clean apartment with great location to the heart of the city. Close to restaurants and shops. Groceries a block away. Comfortable beds are important to us and the bed was great. Sitting area was had a nice comfy chair to put your feet up

It was a great apartment near all of Florence’s sites to see. We walked everywhere to the Piazza Del Vecchio to the Piazza de la Cathedrale. The apartmemt is situated between Ponte Vecchio and Ponte Santa Trinita and is a 10 minute walk to the train station. Francesco, our host was very welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Everything was awesome . The apartment is located right in the downtown, amazing and cozy place to stay. The owner is a great person, friendly and communicative.

From the moment I arrived I couldn’t wait to write an amazing review. The pictures don’t do it justice. While it’s what’s pictured, what’s not conveyed is the authentic experience this flat provides. It’s a home away from home, completely secure, and comfortable. The manager is a delight and so kind. The location is in the middle of everything you could want or need and still quiet and homey. You can access everything by walking, including getting to the flat from the train station. You cannot go wrong with this property. Love, love, love!

Beautiful and charming Florentine style apartment in perfect location. All amenities were great. AC worked well in the height of summer and there were numerous fans. Francesco provided everything we needed and the place had all the little things - crisp clean towels, great wifi, good shower, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, ice in freezer, etc. etc. apartment is perfectly located to walk to everything in Florence. This apartment was perfectly located near the Ponte Vecchio and centrally located to everything! The apartment was perfect for our family of five and the AC during the heat wave was perfection! Francesco was friendly, quick and easy to communicate with, left us a nice bottle of Chianti and made sure our stay was comfortable and nice. The apartment has everything you need including a washer, nice kitchen and big refrigerator. We got into town early and he took in our bags while the vrbo was being cleaned. Check out was easy and I can’t say enough about this place. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, comfortable house which is conveniently located for exploring Florence's historic center.

Everything was Perfect, Francesco very friendly and always willing to help. The place have everything you need and more. We had a wonderful time there. Maybe the only thing I would suggest is to install an small AC in the master room. Summer in Florence is very Hot.

This was a perfect location, close to everything you need, walking to all attractions. Our host, Francesco, was nice, responsive and accommodating. He let us leave our luggage ahead of check-in time. The apartment had everything we needed, all kitchen cookware, plates, table and chairs, appliances (gas range, refrigerator, coffeemaker, ...). There was an elevator in the building, cold AC, WIFI, two locked gates for more security. The bedroom was large with lots of closet space, so was the kitchen. Big supermarket nearby, many shops and restaurants. This was a central location for tourists like us, no need for taxi, everything was within walking distance. The host set up an additional single bed for us. I would recommend this place to all. Our family of 4 was very happy and satisfied in this pale. Thank you Francesco!

We loved this apartment and would stay here again. Between the air conditioner and the fans, we were able to escape the sweltering heat in the evenings, which was a huge bonus. The appartment had many nice touches that made is feel homey and was very well equipped overall. Our only minor complaint was that the washing machine is right next to the toilet, so the door doesn't even open all the way. This made doing laundry a little tricky, but we made it work. (And we were glad to be able to do laundry!) Also, the host provided a single "bed" so that our teenagers wouldn't have to share the futon, but this turned out to be a very flimsy cot that was extremely uncomfortable for our son to sleep on.

This is a small, but lovely apartment, with everything necessary, comfortable beds and an attentive host. Thrre is also z wonderful view of Florence's rooftops from the window. It is just munutes from the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi galleries, yet the street is quiet compared with others in the neighbourhood. There are good restaurants in the same street.

This is the perfect apartment for a stay in Florence. It has the feel of medieval Florence with all the mod cons you would want. Both the large double bed and the pull out sofa bed are super comfortable and have crisp, clean cotton bedlinen. Francesco is a kind and thoughtful host, leaving coffee and several ways to make it, a bottle of olive oil, salt and pepper, and fresh herbs by the window. Perfect location for all the main sights.

After 24 hours of travel, we were glad not to have to find meals and food immediately. Communication was excellent. Unfortunately, our month long stay was shortened by 2 weeks due to Covid19 pandemic as airports, borders and flights became an issue. Hectic time and thankful for excellent WIFI. We were basically quarantined for a share of our time in Florence but made the best of it. The people and neighbors were great and we experienced a different atmosphere - one we will cherish and never forget. Location was perfect and apartment comfortable. Everything you need is within a five minute walk. Francesco worked with us as we had to depart early, so kudos to him amid a most unfortunate situation. We do not hesitate to recommend the apartment and hope to return in the future.

Santo Spirito worked well for us for the couple days we were in Florence. We were arriving late, but were able to make arrangements ahead with the property manager, Francesco. Nearly every basic thing we needed was there for our stay: soap, shampoo, towels, washer with soap, cleaning supplies, kitchen facilities and serveware, coffee, tea, sugar. (only additional thing I personally needed was creamer for my coffee.) There were shutters on the windows if you wanted to block light. There are all kinds of tour guide books in the unit to use if you need them. This was a QUIET, clean, upper level unit, that sleeps two with plenty of room. Maybe there was a sleeper sofa too? (and let me emphasize "quiet"--we stayed in Florence Duomo side a year ago, over Easter and couldn't sleep in the other unit we stayed at, as it was so noisy all night) There is a small lift that works, but is slow; we preferred stairs except when bringing in and out our luggage. The shower in the bathroom was a tight fit for my 6'4" husband, just fyi, but the unit functioned well for us and Francesco was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Another fyi: have some cash available to pay room tax on check in; it can't be paid on a card. The four star areas instead of five on this rating are mainly because of my tech issues and new to going thru VRBO, and not property manager issues.

We had a wonderful stay at Santo Spirito. It was located very close to everything we wanted to see but tucked away on a side street so wasn't noisy. The apartment was clean and well stocked. My favorite was having a cup of espresso every morning. The restaurant next door is a must! It has an intimate setting and delicious food. It is only a couple minute walk to Ponte Vechio.

Wonderful apartment! Very comfortable, well-equipped with anything you could possibly think of, great location, gracious host, a true home-away-from-home ... don’t pass up an opportunity to book here!
