Perfect in every way. Clean and had all that was needed. Back deck made us feel like we were in a tree house! Will come again.

This is such a cute mountain cabin/house with everything you need in it. It is well decorated and stocked. Great location close to the lake and other attractions in a quite neighborhood. We loved our stay and the host was great, very responsive to the short power outage we had due to storms. I highly recommend

We stayed at this cottage in Morganton, GA, to celebrate our 59th wedding anniversary. The one thing that we observed about this property and that we will always remember is how quiet the place was during the day and especially at night!! You could hear a pin drop. Absolutely no noise at night. Perhaps we have become too accustomed to the urban noise in the Atlanta area. We enjoyed our stay. We thought the web pictures showing the cottage's interior were a little "photo shopped", but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Felt secure, relaxed, and enjoyed out time in the Blue Ridge area.

We really enjoyed the property! There was plenty of room and bathrooms for 5 girls (my sister and I and our 3 daughters all over the age of 15). We had a queen bedroom, king bedroom, and 3 twin in the loft. The upstairs floor was pretty squeaky, listening from downstairs bedrooms, due to being a rustic plank flooring. The rustic plank floors and antique/distressed decor was the theme throughout the cabin. Overall very nice and clean. The neighborhood was excellent. The golf cart to ride around in the neighborhood and drive to nearby Morganton Point Recreation area was an added bonus. We packed a few fishing poles and the girls enjoyed fishing. We enjoyed being able to cook for ourselves each day. We picked up groceries from the local Wal-Mart, and we were set. The back deck was a peaceful place to sit and talk while we ate watermelon. We did have alot of fun using the seating/ fire pit area in the front to make s'mores and hot dogs. (Only a suggestion, the area is small and using only a few pieces of wood felt like too big of a fire for the size of the area. Next time, maybe only purchasing a bundle of kindling instead.) Was a great experience!

Wonderful place to stay and good communication with owner

It was a perfect weekend. The house was adorable and had everything needed to grill and cook a complete meal. The beds we cozy and the house was a story book so ensure we truly enjoyed our stay ans decorate so cute

This was our first hand experience ever renting out a cabin and staying with family. In fact, We had a great experience with this stay. Morganton lake is located right out the window; less than five minutes drive took us to go to witness a great sun set. We took a few fantastic twilight photographs. I would recommend anyone who wants to get away from maddening noise and city life, this is the place for you.

This cottage is spacious and comfortable! It’s a short drive to Blue Ridge for lots of options of food and shopping! I will stay here again when in the area!

Wanted to visit Blue Ridge but didn't want to stay in town. This cabin was perfect! Just far enough out, quiet and very cozy. Taking the golf cart to breakfast half a mile away was so cool!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time! The weather and fall leaves were perfect! We loved spending the evening hiking around the property and visiting Morgantown Point. Can’t wait to visit again.

The pictures on your site, was better than what we got. Older home with no installation between the walls, ceiling, and 2nd floor. All of us could hear what the other was saying from one room to the other. Need to work on the floor around the fireplace at the front door didn't like the trip hazard. All and all nice place to play cards around the table with good friends, but too noisy at night if your group is older and need to get up during the night.

The house is located in a beautiful, quiet area and everything you could possibly need has been provided. There's even a golf cart to use to go down to the lake. The host left clear instructions for everything and provided a basket full of maps and guides for the area. We made a slight mistake with our stay dates but Mary quickly solved our problem. It was a little gem!

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. Only a few miles to Blue Ridge and about a 2 minute drive to public access to Lake Blue Ridge. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay.

The cottage is beautiful! But that’s what it is: a COTTAGE!! So forget about sleeping in: as soon as one in your party wakes up, you’ll hear the whole thing creaking…. You won’t be able to set the dishwasher or washing machine at night, because you can hear it from every single corner of the house. Also, no duvets. My kids got a bit chilly at night. If you can, bring some extra blankets. Other than that, our stay was just perfect!!! Mary is an amazing host! She was always there to answer our questions fast and her home is so cute!! The cottage is located very close to the public beach and Mary allows her guests to use her golf cart, making it very easy to get there. I would totally recommend you staying there, as long as you are not looking for a place to sleep in.
