We had an awesome stay at this property! It was clean, comfy and generously equipped! It was a short walk to the beach to the private neighborhood walkway where we found so many treasures! We can't wait to plan our next trip!! Nice restaurant options as well! It reminded us a lot of our favorite SC beach, Edisto! Great host!

We have been visiting Holden Beach for many years and this house was perfect for our week this year. Very quiet and comfortable and only 2 rows away from Ocean Blvd and the beach. We only go to Holden during the winter for the past 5 years and as long as the house is available, this would be our choice each year going forward.

The property is spacious and well equipped for your family stay at the beach. You can see the beach from the back deck of the property and it is less than a 5 minute walk onto the sand. Kitchen is well-equipped with all your necessities for cooking at eating in-house.

We had a blast here and it was nice and clean and not very far from the beach at all ! Also was pleased that we got a view of the ocean on the back porch! Only one down side was that they had these plants in the yard that has spikes on them and it kept getting stuck on us and our pets paws but it was easy to avoid and just take them down the road and to the beach! Will rent this place again!

My husband, our 4 year old, our 18 month old and I stayed here with our friends (two adults, 4 year old and their 3 month old). This was the perfect place for us! The pictures don't do it justice. Very cute little house that had easy beach access. You'll defunitely want a beach cart to haul your stuff if you have kids. We rented bikes that the company delivered to the house. The house is a short ride to Holden's playground and some coffee & ice cream places. Loved our stay!

I have to say I loved the area, the house was very close to the beach, and very clean. Byron was spot on, we had a small problem when we arrived, nothing I was concerned with, I just wanted to bring it to his attention. Handyman was there within the hour. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great experience Byron.

Very nice house. Quiet off the main road. It gives "old holden beach" vibes. (I've been coming here since I was an infant and my family has been for 50 years) all the appliances worked great plenty of dishes, pots and pans and silverware. The only downside was the sand spurs in the yard and basically any grass around there.

We had a wonderful time!! The location of the house in relation to the island was great. A short walk to the beach access was very convenient. A great place to make memories with family! Would definitely stay again!

This house was comfy and had everything we needed. We loved the enclosed outdoor shower! We took advantage of both the porches as well as the garage. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We would definitely stay here again!

This home does not feel like a 3rd row home at all! Beach access is just around the corner and not being on the main road means less traffic for daily walks and bike rides. This home was just what our family of five needed and was the perfect no fuss home to reconnect in and just enjoy life at the beach. Byron (owner) is a fantastic communicator and responded quickly to all questions.

Very good communication. Everything was great accept we all felt like the mattresses could maybe be updated to newer ones and the comforters and bedspreads were kinda old and not certain how clean they were. Other than that it was a nice place.

This beach house was at the perfect location to the beach and inter-coastal waterway. You can see the ocean from the back deck. I slept with the window open every night and enjoyed the sound of the waves. This house has everything you need in the kitchen plus beach chairs & beach cart. You can see the sunset from the front deck. One issue with the washing machine but the owner was quick to respond and the repair man was there the next day. One of our personal belongings was left behind. Owner notified me and is going to mail it out to me. Much appreciated. A+ visit and a great owner. Thanks!

Overall location to beach was great. Not on the beach but just one road over. Also not on the main road so less traffic was nice. Very handy to beach access. Communication with Byron was very prompt. During booking as well as our time at the rental. A few minor hiccups that we couldn’t be bothered to let Byron know about when we arrived at night there was no exterior lights on for us to see around. No big deal as our phones all have flashlights. The water to the outside shower and hose would not turn on. We just did our best to get what little bit of sand we had on our feet off with a towel outside before using the inside shower. Again not a big deal we weren’t in the ocean. Our biggest concern was two of the three bedrooms had broken lights. I messaged Byron about them to which he replied promptly to state he was aware of the issue but didn’t realize they had not been fixed. That was the last of our communication. However we were very upset the next day we went out for dinner and when we got back the lights were fixed. Someone entered the property when we were not there nor where we told this would be happening! After that my father did not feel comfortable leaving the house unless someone stayed behind.

The property was just as described. We enjoyed the convenient location with the close proximity to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you!

This is our third time staying at Byron's home. Obviously we love it or we wouldn't be coming back so often. The cottage is clean, well stocked/furnished, comfortable, close to the beach, and so much more. And the communication with Byron concerning any questions or issues is outstanding. Wonderful stay.. Lovely place, great location and being the off season was very quiet we loved it..and dog friendly for our 6lb spoiled baby goes everywhere with us.. Very nice Beach, Recommend 100% you will love it there..

We had a great stay at this house. The beds are soft and comfortable and the layout worked well for my husband, me, and two daughters. We would love to come back another time!

The cottage on Holden Beach is quaint and a good size for two people. It is a very easy walk to the beach, and a public entrance to the beach. We loved our walks on the beach and especially the sunsets. You will find everything you need in the kitchen for preparing meals or just coffee using the Keurig. Byron was very quick to respond with any questions we had. This cottage is pet friendly and the fees are very reasonable.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. With little kids, the short walk to the beach was essential. Communication with the host was great. We’d stay again.
