The Farmhouse is a stylish and carefully decorated house that can accommodate a large group easily. The house is set up so well to be comfortable for many kinds of activities. We were there for a birthday ski weekend. Both Killington and Okemo are an easy drive. After a ski day, the hot tub looking out on the beautiful landscape was a welcome treat. We sat by the fireplace for cocktails, and the large dining table was wonderful for our celebration meal. Ben was responsive and helpful and it was an easy check in and check out. I would definitely stay there again!

The owner was so accomodating even with a bit of a mix up on our part. We had a fun weekend. Place is great

My group has been spending President's Day Weekend in VT for the last 10 years. We've stayed in 9 different houses in that time, never finding quite the perfect place for us. That changed this year, we hope to return to this space every year for the rest of time :). The house is clean and well appointed (kitchen items, towels, linens, games, firewood/pellets etc.) with LOTS of open common areas. There is really not anything we would change and we're so excited to have finally found a place we're excited to return to!

The house was a little dirtier and unkempt than the photos suggested, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The local caretaker was not available due to a personal emergency that weekend which meant some things went unattended but ultimately the house is spacious, the location is excellent, and the stay was quite nice.

Would rent this house again and again !!

Great time with a few families here. There’s a fun loft for the kids. Barn style. Had all the amenities we needed. It’s on the rustic side, out in a field so somewhat isolated, but quite convenient for Killington base lodge and not far from Okemo. Garage was locked and not in use for us.

I booked this property to celebrate my birthday and have a reunion with 20 of my closest friends. Given the number of people, I was expecting to feel a little squeezed, but the house has so much space that there was plenty of privacy when needed. In addition, the variety of common spaces left us with options for gathering and I could not have been happier! The outdoor space also gave us the opportunity to enjoy the last days of Fall in New England, and the fire pit was so much fun in the evening. I wish we could have stayed longer!! The property managers were quick to respond and made the whole process really easy from start to finish. I will definitely look to stay here again.

This property was beyond amazing! The pictures and description do not do it justice. We had a group of 23 if us for a bachlor/bachelorette and I was nervous about not having enough space. It was in no way a problem. The layout of the house is so unique and there was more than enough room. The details that they have put into this home is incredible. Yvonne and Katie were so great to work with. This property will not disappoint. I look forward to going back in the winter for some skiing.

This location had everything we needed to accommodate our group of 21! Clean functional spaces made for a great experience. Don't forget to visit the beautiful stream in back. Personally I spent most of my time in the hot tub! We would defiantly come back!

Myself and 7 friends took a long weekend up in VT to celebrate our buddy getting married. A subset of this group traditionally makes a yearly weekend trip up to Killington specifically to go to Longtrail for the day (see Roy and ask him to be your waiter. Awesome guy. Tell him the only guys who play Kan Jam in the stream say hi!!). Farmhouse was right on the money for what we were looking for. We walked to Longtrail, played golf up at Killington and just hung out on the decks. The house was the perfect size for our group. The beds were comfortable, great water pressure for a well water system, Sonos throughout and a large kitchen table to gather around. This would definitely be someplace that we would be able to bring our families and vacation longer since there was a ton of extra space/beds. It was quiet, peaceful, and purely relaxing. We sincerely enjoyed our stay.

The house was really good, also Owners of the house is co-operative they had taken care of all minute things to make this vacation best.

5 college friends and our families had an amazing stay at the Farmhouse over New Year's. We rented both the main house and the apartment above the garage and we had plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The pictures don't do the space justice...we had more than enough room and there were plenty of beds for all of us to use. Multiple family rooms made it easy for the adults, teenagers and young kids to spread out and have their own space. The location was great as we were just a short ride to Killington and Woodstock. And with Ramuntos and Long Trail Brewery down the street we had plenty of options for food and drink. I would recommend The Farmhouse to anybody. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything you need for a long weekend away, the home comes with a kitchen stocked with pans, blender, even a food processor! 3 living rooms with comfortable couches & 2 TVs! The hot tub was a big hit after skiing and huge dining room table was perfect for games. Beware drivers, 2 speeding tickets for our group was the only bad thing to happen all weekend!

Overall our group had a great time at the Farmhouse in early March for a ski weekend at Killington. The house was very well represented in the write up on its listing. The house was enormous with ample sleeping for a large group of 20 guys. It had some great unique decorations that added a great ski house charm to the place. The caretaker, Yvonne, was very helpful as we had a complication with one of the door locks at 9pm on Friday night and she had someone come over to help out within the hour of requesting. I would say the only slight I would have against the property is the misrepresentation of having a "bon-fire" prepared for you. There is an enormous pit there however I was only offered the use of traditional fire wood, I would hardly call that a bon-fire, I was picturing a stack of pallets that we could use. Nonetheless that didn't damper our experience too much, I would highly recommend this location for any large groups looking for some time away in Vermont!

We were four families who stayed all together at the farmhouse. We had plenty of room. The kitchen is very large and there is multiple living room areas for people to hang out. The house was so nicely decorated and was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing close to a brewery and 10-15 minutes to skiing. We skied Okemo, Killington and Pico on this trip.

I organized a trip with coworkers and we absolutely loved this house. It has tons of space so it never felt crowded, even with 24 people! The snow/skiing wasn't great the weekend we went, so we ended up hanging out at the house a lot more than intended and we had a great time. It's very well kept and there are lots of rooms so everyone can have a bit of privacy even with such a large group. Would (will) definitely come back!

We recently stayed here for a ski trip to Killington over president's day weekend and had a great time. Killington was less then 20 mins away and long trail brewery was right around the corner. The house is connected with a sound system which made playing music easy. We found it clean, spacious, and very accommodating. It even snowed while we were there and the owner had already plowed. We also had booked the guest house which is not connected to the main house but that worked for our guest that wanted to go to bed early and some couples. Both houses had amazing charm we were all stunned when we first walked in. Would book here again.

This property well exceeded expectations. The outdoor scenery was quintessential Vermont with Long Trail Brewery a short walk up the street, and Killington Skye Ship a 10 minute drive. Inside has several cozy rooms with a Sonos sound system that makes listening to your favorite music throughout the house very easy and high quality. There were lots of games, a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. It was also neat to take the telescope out on the back deck at night to check out the stars and moon. Clearly, Kristin and Benjamin have put a LOT of thought into providing guests with the ultimate relaxation and fun activity getaway. I spent a week and only wish I had more time!

Stayed here with a group of 16 coworkers for a retreat, it was ideal for the purpose. Plenty of comfortable beds, big kitchen and huge dining table that could accommodate all of us together, and great gathering spaces throughout the house.

We have a group of riders from GMHA and come every fall for the foliage ride. We chose this house for the variety of bedrooms and common areas. We were thrilled when the house was even better than the photos! The house was warm and welcoming. We also loved that the corner store was so close and had a little bit of everything you could want! We can't wait to come back!

Amazing house, comfortably fit our 6 families with kids. Totally private and the owners were very responsive to any questions. Long trail brewery and Woodstock down the road were great attractions but honestly didn't need then we had plenty of fun at he house. Thanks guys!

We stayed in the Farm House for my husband's 40th birthday. There were 15 of us staying in the house over President's Day weekend. Everything was perfect! From communicating with the owners prior to checking in, to the check in process, to having the proper utensils for cooking, to the location, there is not a single bad thing I can say about the house and the owners. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the house comes with enough firewood to have a few fires, there are plenty of games to play and the hot tub is an added bonus. The location to the ski mountain is perfect as well! Only about a 10 minute drive to all the excitement. We are already planning a trip back to enjoy the house in the summer! I highly recommend this house to any big group looking for a place to stay! Thank you so much for everything!

This house was nothing short of amazing. From the interior decor to the endless property outside, it was so worth every dollar and I will definitely be back! The pictures are accurate and the different living areas were perfect for Girl talk in one room while the guys watched football in the other. The fireplace was my absolute fav!! This property is extremely close to the mountains. We went snowmobiling which was literally 5 mins away. We also snow tubed and skied in the Killington resort which is about 15 mins. Just be advised that the pots are NOT none stick so you may wanna bring a few of your favorite comfortable cooking pots. Other than that everything was great!!

This home was beyond amazing, between the main house & guest house it was so spacious and great for our large group. The pictures truly do not do this home justice. The farmhouse is located in a beautiful valley and the scenery is gorgeous. The house has everything you would need- even an ice maker which came in very handy. The beds were comfortable and the rooms and decor were beautiful. My group loved the house and we look forward to staying at the farmhouse again in the future. Thank you!

My company rented this property to bring together some of our remote staff for a week of work. It worked out perfectly for us. We had 17-20 people there and it was comfortable. People shared rooms, but everyone had a comfortable bed of their own, and there were enough bathrooms to share. Because we are a software company and were working throughout the week, connectivity was a big concern for us. We were pleasantly surprised by the wireless and cell signal strength and were able to be super productive. The living room spaces made for great meeting and conversation spots (now I want to hold all my meetings next to a cozy fire!). The dining table was large enough to allow us to bring everyone together for home cooked meals. Our people took advantage of the well maintained hot tub, the spacious yard, the outdoor fire pit, and the proximity to Woodstock for some fun too! This house would be a great destination any time of year.

I rented this property for an annual bonding trip with my friends. This property was amazing and was the 4.5 hr drive from NYC. The property manager, Kristin, was in constant contact in case my friends and I needed anything. The house is secluded so you feel calm and relaxed as soon as you arrive. The interior of the house is beautifully designed and very modern. Although it rained most of the time we were there, I felt happy when I was inside the house and surrounded by the decor. On my last day there, it did not rain and I was able to hop in the hot tub and take in the view of the fall foliage. At night, we all hung around the huge fire pit. The house is very clean and is very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, towels, linens, and appliances. It really helped having a washer/dryer available as well. I would definitely come back again.

My family rented this house for my August 27th wedding. My husband's family rented the neighboring log cabin, giving us access to 20+ acres of unbelievably gorgeous land for our stay. I cannot express enough how perfect everything was and absolutely recommend this property for large groups and events. The wedding was on a Saturday, but many of our guests arrived on Thursday and Friday and stayed with us for an extended celebration. We used Elegant Settings for rentals (tents, lights, dance floor, tables, linens, etc) and they were excellent. Everything was set up on Friday and taken down on Monday. B & W catering did our catering (many of my guests commented that it was the best food they'd ever had a wedding and the service was incredible) and Sweet Surrender made us a beautiful cake. The caterers used the 2 large charcoal grills on the property to prepare the food. All of the vendors were the friendliest, most accommodating people! The same goes for Kristin, the owner of the property. She was wonderful- always quick to respond to my (many) emails and easy going. Our communication was so easy and really took a lot of stress off planning a big a event! Yvonne, the caretaker was also great, super easy going and very accommodating! As for the space itself, it's truly something special. You look out onto 20+ acres surrounded by lush, green mountains. A crystal clear brook runs at the back of the property where the owners have built hammocks that lay just above the water. My husband and I had our portraits taken in the brook (our photographer was blown away- Kristin Chalmers has some of our pictures up on facebook and instagram, if you want to take a look) and we spent many hours down there in the days surrounding the wedding relaxing with our friends. It is serene. We also enjoyed the enormous fire pit and the large hot tub. I have some great pictures of all our guests dressed up with sparklers and s'mores around the fire! If you are planning a wedding, an event, or even just a large group getaway, I would say look no further. We plan to return again for a reunion with our friends and family.
