Excellent stay at a charming property with responsive, gracious hosts. Location is everything and this spot is perfectly situated with easy access to the city and suburbs. All our needs were anticipated before arriving. Comfortable, clean and attractively decorated. Excellent.

Everything was perfect!!! I typically give feedback as in if there were mine I would want to know..... I have nothing!! Everything was wonderful, kitchen and bathroom both were stocked. We definitely would stay here again next year!!! They even thought to place a Dunkin donuts directly behind the apartment for me!!!!! Only thing that could have been better is if they would have had dinner waiting for us when we got back at night!!! LOL!!!

Our family enjoyed the stay - the bed and pullout couch were very comfortable, it was very clean, and the location was great for either heading into Chicago or visiting friends/family in the suburbs. Would definitely recommend

A good size property super cute and clean. Location convenient walking distance. Being located near the busy retail food area, there is a lot of traffic noise. Not enough to be too disturbing. Would be a great place in the spring/summer w a cute enclosed patio. Would absolutely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A very nice neighborhood, close to plenty of amenities. The house itself is quite nice. Jordan and Jeremy have done a wonderful job with it. Lots of special touches and pretty much everything you need. Sheets and towels are great. Beds were very firm, but we slept well. Couch and living space are super comfortable. Garbage trucks were loud very early two of the three mornings we were there. Not a huge deal, but do note that you can hear them in the house while they pick up! Otherwise the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and safe. Communication was excellent. Check in was very easy. Our hosts were always available to us, but gave us complete privacy. Overall a wonderful VRBO experience, and we would most defintley stay here again if in the area.

We really enjoyed this comfortable Forest Park home. It is spacious and clean with thoughtful and plentiful amenities and is decorated with vintage charm mixed with modern comfort. We loved being on a quiet residential street just a short walk to the restaurants and shops of downtown Forest Park. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is clean. The beds were comfortable. There is a good amount of space, and the kitchen and bathroom are very well-stocked, much better than your average VRBO. We really liked the outdoor table and other seating. The property owners were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property if you want to stay in this area of Chicago.

Jordan and Jeremy have provided a wonderful haven in Forest Park, minutes away from downtown Chicago. Beautifully decorated and cozy, the residence has plenty of room for a family to spread out and enjoy, and is stocked with amenities so that you have just about everything you need. We loved our stay and will definitely be back to stay again!

The loft is located within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. It’s also convenient to the city. It’s cozy and has everything you need for a meal or just to heat up takeout. I would highly recommend staying here and checking out the Artisan Food Shop the on the next block west on Madison (7636). Fantastic homemade breads, pastas, sauces, etc.

Close to both the city and suburbs.. we got to enjoy Immersive Van Gogh, a walk by the Chicago River, and the spring flower show at Garfield Park Conservatory. Spacious outdoor area with picnic table and yard games—we had a great time having a cookout with a couple of my daughters friends. Gracious and accommodating hosts! This was our first VRBO experience and we are so glad we picked this one. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. We had a family pizza party and had plenty of room. It was great having off street parking.

The house is tucked into a neighborhood, but just around the corner from shops and a great brewery. The place is charmingly decorated with vintage charm, very clean, and has everything you could need for your stay. It's also a few blocks from the L train into downtown. The instructions on the use of the apartment were very clear and the communications from the owner were timely and helpful. They have a very ingenious lock system that all VRBO owners should emulate - so easy to use and secure! We felt we got good value for the cost. We would book it again without hesitation.

I stayed at Monroe House during the Christopher holidays. It was so inviting to be greeted by Christmas decorations and lights and a well stocked pantry. Definitely will be staying here again. Great location

Apartment was really great. Clean and bright, with comfortable furniture and a fairly well stocked kitchen. Close to the train to downtown Chicago, too. The hosts provided maps and information about the “L” - very helpful! When we checked in the lights were on and the apartment was so welcoming.

Staying at the Monroe House was a pleasure! Jordan and Jeremy were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. Forest Park and Oak Park are nice areas to visit. Travel to Downtown was straightforward using the Green or Blue lines. Would recommend a Ventra pass. Chicago a great place to explore.

All the comforts of home plus fabulous outdoor space. The hosts are awesome. This home is a must stay. Great location very clean... great alternative to downtown... easy access to downtown and less noise and congestion. The very best of both worlds. CHECK IT OUT

We absolutely loved our time at the Monroe House! It was family- friendly, well stocked, very comfortable and convenient. We will return again next time we visit the Chicago area.

The Monroe House was a perfect stay for our visit with our son. The interior and exterior were pretty, comfortable and quiet. Arrival "check in" was a breeze. Short distance to walk to the train station.

The Monroe House was immaculately clean, well-stocked, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated with unique accessories and artwork. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows and towels very plush. This place was even prettier in person than the pictures. There was storage to spare with both closets and drawers. This place is a half block from a commercial area with plenty of restaurants and shops. The walk to the CTA rapid transit was just a few minutes and takes you right downtown in about 25 minutes. It was faster than driving on the freeways and cheaper than the very expensive parking in the loop. It was fun to see us passing all the cars on our dedicated rail. Our stay here was everything we expected, and we look forward to staying here again when we are in the Chicago area. Thanks, Jordan & Jeremy, for making everything so inviting.

Stayed here while visiting a friend at a nearby college. The kids we where visiting were so happy to come “home” to enjoy family time, meals, catch up on life and family. Thank you so much making our trip like being at home.
