We had three families sharing this house. The large and well equipped kitchen and lounge room were great spaces to relax and socialise. There was a generous supply of firewood. The property was clean enough, but could do with a good, thorough clean, including under the furniture. The noise from the hotel/motel at the back of the property was occasionally bothersome. A key box to avoid the need to drive into Jindabyne to get the keys and then back to East Jindy would be convenient.

Very comfortable stay with a large group of friends doing a snow trip at Perisher. Incredible well-stocked kitchen. Everything about our stay was great although the fire wood provided was a little green and there was no wifi.

Big and clean property, has a nice and complete kitchen upstairs. Enough for 3 families with a room to spare. Two fireplaces, one on each floor with plenty of ready to use/chop firewood. Very good to warm up the place and dry our snow gears quickly. Great view in the morning and during the day and very quiet during the night. Would be happy to go back again one day.

The property is great for our 3 families with each has their own bathroom/toilet. Loved the shortcut to the ski rental at the back of house so we could just walk over to rental shop. Quick reply from property manager when we needed help to start the fireplace. Things to improve: I think some heaters in some bedrooms are too old and not keeping the warmth. And there was left behind food/whatever in the fridge that we needed to clean out and sanitised the fridge when we arrived. Some dishes still have food trace on. But overall, it was a great stay for our large family group.

Excellent house, great amenities and fantastic for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay. 16 people in one house for 4 nights and we did not feel over crowded. The view is amazing and the fire place made the house warm during a really cold few nights. There is plenty of dishes and cutlery and the place is really well presented. Lovely seating on the deck to take in the amazing view. It was less than 30 minutes to the ski tube which was so handy. Vanessa is so nice to deal with, quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating. It truely made our time in Jindabyne and Perisher really special. Thank you!

It was a nice house, warm, great view. Basic facilities, well stocked kitchen with enough utensils for 16 people, no WiFi which was the only downside.

We stayed at Winterwood for our week of skiing with another family. The property is a little old but well suited for our stay. Missing heating in the bathrooms and the laundry is outside which is inconvenient during freezing nights. The kitchen is well equipped for large groups of people. The large dinning table seated all of us at the one time which was great! Having living spaces both upstairs and downstairs was great too. Beautiful views of the lake were very tranquil as you can watch snow capped mountains behind.

Winterwood was absolutely perfect for our summer vacation. Everything we needed was there, clean, tidy and organised.

Great house for large party... plenty of space. Amazing views and great location. Decor clean and comfortable.... a bit dated but that did not bother us at all. Plenty of car parking

Cute Property conveniently located 10 mins out if Jindabyne town. Cosy ! Loved the double fire place and the split level. Loved that there was a secret bridge to go across to the servo and little cafe ! Definitely will be coming back !

We have always stayed at properties that are for 16 people but never have we seen a kitchen that is so full to accommodate us all. Thank you! The property upon arrival was immaculate. Enough firewood to last a month. The bedding was very comfy. The only negative was the bedroom downstairs door did not have a lock and needs to be fitted with one. Other than that we had an amazing stay in your wonderful property. We will definitely be back next snow season!

This property is perfect for a large family or two families sharing. The kitchen is very well stocked with more than enough utensils, pots, pans and crockery. The two fire places warm up the whole house. We loved our stay here.

Excellent for large group, choice of front and back balconies and two living areas. The location makes it only a short walk to swimming area on lake - perfect in Summer.

Wonderful house, nice & spacious in big family.

Winterwood was the perfect place for our crew to stay! Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at the house. The location of was perfect for our needs, and the view of the lake was mesmerising, as you watched from the balcony with a cold one... and not too far from any of the sights that Jindabyne has to offer. We had plenty of space for whatever any individual wanted to do, whether it was sneaking off for a nap or big "solve the problems of the world" discussions over drinks :) No complaints about the beds or pillows or blankets because the house stayed warm with the heat from the fireplace. All the bathrooms were clean, so were the kitchens. The upstairs kitchen and dining area was big enough for all of us to eat together... Nothing was too much trouble for Kath, who I contacted about some more firewood, and it arrived on the same day! We encountered no problems with anything, and overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at Winterwood, Thanks Vanessa and Kath for making our stay a good one!!

Excellent affordable property for large family gatherings. View sensational. Location outside of town sutied us. Large enough entertaining area for everybody. Overall 8 adults and 5 kids well worthit.

A mob of 14 was comfortable in this large property. Great views over the lake let us see the snow down to lake's edge and check on the traffic going off to the ski fields. ...and it has the best equipped kitchen we've come across away from home.

The house needs a bit of TLC and regular maintenance, especially for the facilities downstairs. Check-in information was not provided until we called the managing agency the day before arrival. Some lights were not working, property was not cleaned properly.
