It was perfect little get away

The communication from the property owner was prompt, professional, and polite. Any question our group had was quickly answered. The place was very clean on arrival, with snacks on the counter and a fully stocked coffee station (Very Important after a long day of traveling!). There were plenty of ride sharing drivers / shuttles in the area to make travel without a rental vehicle very easy. And there are plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance of the cottage. If we travel up to that area again, I'll be sure to check if this place is available to stay.

Sugar’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The space has everything you want and need. The location was perfect for us to visit Salem and the Boston area. Marblehead is a beautiful little town to explore around also! And the cottage is a short walk to shops and the waterfront. Sugar was amazing to communicate with and super accommodating.

Sugar was very accommodating. The house way more than expected. It was like staying at a home away from home! Very comfortable stay with a warm aspect to it.

We really enjoyed our stay in Marblehead. The house was charming, clean, and close to everything as our family loves walking. The only reason I am not giving a 5 is because when we arrived there was no hot water. Turns out the hot water heater had to be replaced. We had no hot water for 2 days. The owner was very helpful and clearly felt bad but the heater was very old and with routine maintenance a new one should have been installed electively. Other than that we were very comfortable and I would recommend the property. Thank you Sugar.

What a great location. The property is absolutely charming. Everything you need at your fingertips. We drove up the coast to Rockport for a beautiful sightseeing tour. And we drove in to Boston for a day of adventure. We also just stayed in Marblehead and enjoyed walking around the picturesque town. We will definitely be back.

Loved this property so cute and it had everything and more that we needed. Sugar answered any questions we had and was so quick in doing so. Would definitely stay again!!

I stayed with my four adult children but it would’ve been a great place to stay with grand children also. Easy walking around the town and the owner is easy to reach and very receptive to any questions and could not have been nicer!

Everything was wonderful. Sugar is a great host, accommodating and super easy to deal with. The cottage is located in a quiet street in close walking distance to many restaurants in downtown Marblehead.

Vintage cottage nestled in historic district. Close (walking distance) to all shops, restaunts and taverns. Fun pubs with a wide variety of food selections. Sugar is your host and she is very friendly and accommodating. Responds within minutes. Home has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms which was nice for 4 adults. Stocked with anything you need and then more. Highly suggested for a quiet New England get away, and a few quick trips to Salem and Boston for site seeing.

Great location in quiet neighborhood overlooking beautiful garden and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. A little difficult to find since it’s a back section of a house and not visible from the road, but the owner was super helpful and didn’t mind our late night confused check in call. House is very thoughtfully equipped with everything you need and then some. Comfy beds, hot shower, cold A/C And very cozy welcoming feeling of home. Owner checked in several times to make sure we had everything we needed - she is a gem! We loved everything about the house and our stay was wonderful!

We loved our stay at 42 Prospect! The cottage had all the comforts of home and we could easily walk to our favorite Marblehead spots. Though we didn’t end up cooking - the kitchen had everything needed to prepare anything as well as wonderful wine glasses! We would definitely recommend it.

Loved the property! Very comfortable. Owner contacted us regularly prior to check in. It's my first Vrbo so I was nervous. Sugar set my mind at ease.

My husband and I live in Marblehead and had to get out of our house for a week while we were having our kitchen floors sanded and stained at the end of a kitchen reno. This was the perfect place for us. But if we had been vacationing in Marblehead, this would have been the perfect place for us also. It's within walking distance to many of Marblehead's best shops and restaurants. On street parking was easy (which is not always true in Marblehead - it sometimes can be a challenge to find parking lol). Sugar has equipped this house with more than you will need - from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms. It is very COVID-safe with hand sanitizers everywhere. The neighborhood was quiet with cute historic and cottage houses. I couldn't recommend this place more and would absolutely stay here again if a similar situation comes up again in our lives. Easy

This was the cutest rental! Located in the beautiful town of Marblehead, there was plenty to do and see within walking or short driving distance. We had five adult women total and all slept and stayed comfortably for 4 nights. Sugar had so many amenities, and most importantly was the best host. She was easy to get ahold of, and very personable and friendly. She emailed me links that had information on events, parking, etc during our stay. One day the outlets in a room seemed to stop working. I contacted her right away and she had it resolved immediately. I would recommend this rental a thousand times over and hope to come back again myself someday!

My group of 4 had a great stay at this property. Sugar was really easy to communicate with via texting, and answered a call during check-in when we couldn't find the front door. Great location within walkable distance of many shops and trails. No issues finding parking. We enjoyed Maria's Java Sun for breakfast. The kitchen was well-stocked and plenty of room for 6 people for dinner. There were a couple light switches that didn't seem to work (living room and the larger bedroom), but the lamps in the rooms did. I would also recommend placing a bin (or sign) out for recycling so guests know what can be recycled. We ended up throwing all our trash away, but I would have liked to recycle what we could. Also want to note that it would be a tight squeeze for 6 people given that there is 1 shower and 2 bedrooms. All in all, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Sugar.

Staying at this home was such a treat! Not only was it wonderfully charming, it was also in walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Sugar was a great host, very easy to communicate with & attentive. She even allowed us to rent a movie as a welcoming gift! There was even candy on the counter when we arrived (which we took full advantage of) as well as other lovely little touches. I'd recommend renting this property to anyone looking for a nice stay in Marblehead and am looking forward to booking again in the future! Thanks Sugar!

This house was just perfect for the 4 of us. Sugar took good care of us and was very responsive. The location is great for walking to the shops, restaurants, and beach. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Cottage was super cute - had everything we needed for our girls trip to Marblehead & Salem Massachusetts. Area was so beautiful and within walking distances to many of the restaurants and shopping areas. everyone was super friendly. We would definitely rent this property again. Love Love Loved it!

The cottage is located close to shops & restaurants but still on a quiet street. The owner checks in often to see if you need anything and check in & check out was seamless. We really enjoyed it here & would recommend staying.

Excellent small cottage, I didn't think it would be warm especially when you look at an old cottage with cracks .expected to be cold. But I was surprised very warm and comfortable The neighborhood is quiet I have had a very good sleep. The shower if you are tall ,I mean tall remember to duck. But the bathroom extremely clean and wide. Laundry, kitchen , toilets perfect. Rugs a kind of slippery . Be careful not to slip. Living room and dining perfect. Entertainment was excellent. Netflex and YouTube streaming.. Though parking not so good especially if it’s winter. But I think okay in summertime.Management is exceptional I have no words to describe. Just be sure they are there when you need them anytime .i mean anytime 24 /7 if you stay seven nights. Just expect your stay will be great. Even if you have a baby.

We had a lovely stay, particularly loved the well-stocked coffee bar. Well stocked all round actually. Literally 2-3 min walk to Marblehead shops. Good WiFi, tv channel selection, quiet. It does have that older cottage feel, down to the uneven floors, somewhat small shower, but has been really well renovated. Super clean and everything is quite new which we loved. TVs in both bedrooms! We forgot the half bath beside the kitchen on the first day, make sure you remember it’s there. No issues parking on street though there is a space in the lot.
