Our favorite of the trip. We felt at home. Beautiful view from front and back doors. Three moose came to greet us our first morning. We hope to return someday!

The house was nice and clean and warm. There is plenty of space to spread out in the main bedroom downstairs. The reason why this is four stars and not five is because the hot tub did not heat up, which is one of the main reasons we booked this house and the TV was difficult to figure out.

This is an incredibly built timber frame home with so many architectural details, custom furniture, and well designed for a comfortable stay. It’s location is convenient and has a hot tub and lots of room for eating, playing games and people can spread out to private bedrooms. Overall it is a great place to stay in Girdwood.

This is a great area to stay if you are doing your own self drive Alaskan trip. We liked that Girdwood allowed us to travel to Kenai Fjords, Portage Glacier and the wildlife preserve with ease. House is beautiful. Very large, only three of us on this trip and it was way too big for us. The only issue we had was trying to find the trash dumpster (we drove around and around twice and still couldn’t locate). Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen.

Everyone in our party kept complimenting the home daily! It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings and many hikes nearby. The Tram was worth the price for me as well. Another memorial vacation and anniversary in the books!

Perfect location and beautiful setting nestled in the woods. This was an excellent house for us and what we needed:)

Our stay was fabulous, the location is perfect, and the backyard view is breathtaking. My family loved this spot the best of all the places we stayed during our visit to AK. The sounds of the creek in the back was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Although communication with Vacassa was atrocious the stay at the home was amazing. I didn't receive check-in information until less than 24 hours prior to check-in even though I messaged them 2 times the week prior to our trip. I also messaged them during our stay and have never received a response to any of the 3 messages. The listing states that the PM responds within hours, they do not. Once we were at the property it was amazing. The home was very inviting, spotless, very homey and comfortable. The area was safe. The property was beautiful and the stream right outside our bedroom was music to my ears. We were close to restaurants, stores and attractions. I highly recommend the property, the property management company, nt so much.

Clean spacious with great views. The kitchen was stocked with everything u could think of. Grill and hot tub were great. The house was amazing. Would love to live there !!

Only recommendations were a couple easy fixes
1) some light bulbs out that would have been nice to replace
2) one of the windows upstairs needs a new screen to keep the bugs out
3) upstairs tub drains very slow

This house was perfect. Great kitchen and gathering space that we could all cook meals together and sit down and have dinner. The hot tub was amazing, and that view. We came for a ski trip, short drive to the mountain and into town or a 20 ish minute walk.

Perfect for large families or a small group of friends with plenty of space to spread out. We loved that the kitchen comes fully equipped.... seriously you will have all the tools to make any kind of meal! The hot tub with mountain views is just what you need at the end of a long day on the mountain. What we most appreciated was the responsiveness of the Vacasa management company. Girdwood was having some weird fluctuations in weather and the driveway ended up becoming a skating rink. I called Vacasa and they had someone out to gravel within 15 minutes. If you're looking for a lodge like experience with all the comforts of home, we highly recommend!

I have rented this house twice (2009 and 2021) and had a wonderful stay both times. It's perfect for a larger group with a huge kitchen, plenty of seating and rustic timberframe interior that is perfect for Girdwood. Kitchen is appointed well, but could use more kitchen towels (only 2). The hot tub was great, but could use a deck to make it easier to get around outside. The master tub is lovely! I will stay here again...
