the staff was very kind and they had our rooms ready even before the check-in time. The rooms were very spacious, clean, nicely decorated and a very nice bathroom. We really appreciated having access just outside our room to tea, coffee and water jugs for us to help ourselves to it. The hotel was located right next to the central sightseeing area which made it very convenient for us. Excellent value for money as well.

the cleaner was exceptionally rude, the elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor - part of the reason for booking this place was for an elevator to take the luggage

Lovely, clean room. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and told us all about Bologna and where we should visit. Really good shower.

Very central location, 1 minute away from the centre of the city and a small supermarket. The staff are really nice, the premises are very clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast area in particular, is very welcoming and has a family vibe to it. Since we rented a car, Camilla kindly also provided us with details of a private parking close-by (not more than 4 minutes away on foot from the premises).

The air-conditioning; it felt as if it was not working too well and considering that there was a heatwave (June 2022), we felt this small set back.

The location was brilliant, right below the two towers in Bologna city centre. A 3 min walk to the wonderful Piazza Maggiore, Basilica Santo Stefano etc. Couldn't fault it. As for the room, the rooftop view was lovely and the size of both the bedroom and bathroom was compact but we could move around easily. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast the cappuccinos are good - same as everywhere else! Alessandro and Jessica were good front-of-house staff. They were welcoming and helpful and gave some good tips for things to see and do around Bologna. They also helped us book a taxi to go direct to the airport.

It was our final night in Italy, so we thought we’d treat ourselves. It was our most expensive stay of the trip. We’d stayed behind the Piazza Maggiore the week before and it was incredible, 50 euros cheaper a night & a beautiful room, double the size with stunning finishes & delicious breakfast. The room we paid for was the ‘Junior suite’ quite a stretch given its size and decor. It didn’t look anywhere near as nice as the images online. The room was basic, rundown and poorly maintained, smelt musty and was frankly a health hazard. If we’d been staying for longer than a night and hadn't been feeling unwell, we’d have checked out and found another b&b. The bedroom & bathroom were gross, I stood on a hair and saw 5 more long ones and 3 pubic hairs in the bathroom alone. There were also hairs on the bedside table and bedroom floor. The bathroom floor grout was brown with dirt. The corners of the rooms were grimy. The bottom of the toilet cistern had what looked like dried poo/urine and pubes. The shower had pink and black mould and was slimy, to the point where we wiped a tissue on it and it came off in a thick smear - we took photos because we couldn’t believe it. The shower head was dirty and covered in limescale. Crumbs and stains on the bedroom floor, stains on the walls, make-up smears on the doors and handles - which given we've had a pandemic for the past 2 years is even more concerning. Enough dust in the room that someone had drawn a picture in it on the TV screen, before our arrival. At first we were barefoot in the room but the soles of our feet were covered in dust and bits. Our 'fresh' towels were laid on a filthy fabric-covered bench at the bottom of the bed. Breakfast was quantity not quality. Alot of sweet, stale, bland food left out in the open, no fresh fruit. Yoghurts were warm, mini croissants were just about edible but cold and hard.

The location was very central to everything we needed. The staff especially Camille was so welcoming and was very helpful in arranging our transport to and from the airport.. Coffee at breakfast the best in Bologna. Gluten free option at breakfast was good for me.

Such a noisy area, even with triple glazed window's. You could also hear other guests arriving, talking etc making a good nights sleep difficult.

Great service! Centrally located easy to walk everywhere including San Luca. Breakfast included and served with a smile. Nothing is a problem

If you drive (we didn’t as we took the Marconi express from the airport - very quick and convenient) it’s a nightmare for parking

Large, clean, comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. Ideal location Breakfast is included in the price - the choice is small but sufficient. Cookies, apples, light drinks - all day long. Unusually kind, helpful and professional staff - were in contact with me by prior correspondence, very friendly welcome on arrival, helped with a test for COVID before the back flight, ordered a transfer, gave useful advices on the city! Many thanks to Alessandro, Camilla and others (sorry for not remembering other names)!

Bath slippers and bathrobes could be added to the room.
