Bathroom needs a little bit renovation

We only stayed one night as part of a road trip. We chose this because of the price and location. The owners were really responsive and helpful before our arrival and helped us book a taxi to go to take the Pelion train in the morning. I had misread the description and assumed that Appartment meant that there was a separate room to sleep in but in fact this was a studio with four beds in the kitchen. The beds were confortable and the area is quiet. There were mosquito nets in the windows and the basics in the kitchen. parking next to the property was easy to find. It was exactly what we needed for a one night stay.

This is not a property I would stay for longer than a couple of nights as it is a studio and there was no space to really spend time or a table to have a family meal. The shower and toilet had both a leak issue and I informed the owner so he could get a plumber to fix these.

Perfect place. Large and comfortable rooms. The owner of the house, Panos, went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. The place is close to the sea, only a minute and a half walk. It was just perfect.

The shower in one of the rooms was a bit small, but it didn't bother us and didn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

Everything was superb. The host was kind and friendly, trying to satisfy all our needs. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean (respecting all COVID-19 new rules) and full equipped. The location was excellent, the neighborhood was quiet, just 3 minutes walking distance from the beach.

Nothing. Everything were beyond my expectations.

Vasileiou is not signposted, even outside the building itself, but it is easy to find via Google maps, as it is opposite the KEP (“Citizen Service Centre”) and right behind a small mini-market belonging to the property owners. There is parking on the street just outside. The owner was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are of a good size and quite nicely appointed and decorated. There is a double bed, two single beds, two bedside tables, one chair, large built-in wardrobes, a TV and A/C. The balcony/terrace has a table, 2 chairs, and a clothes drying rack. The kitchenette has a countertop cooker and stove top, a small fridge, a coffee maker, dish detergent, sponge, and is well equipped for crockery, cutlery, glassware and pans. The bathroom is nicely tiled and has a corner shower with sliding glass door. A small dispenser of liquid soap was provided. The wifi worked well.

The only real problem was that one of the two shower doors was missing, so the water went all over the bathroom floor. The shower also has traces of mould around the corners. There was no shelf in the shower or anywhere else in the bathroom, and a hook only by the bathroom door, with no other hooks or a towel rail. The kitchen had no cutting boards or electric kettle. The bed sheets were a little too small for the mattress, and the mattress was VERY firm. There are no bedside lamps, only the main overhead light in the middle of the room. It may be that the apartment is not really fully finished, since the building itself is unfinished outside the rooms, with bare bricks/cement and pipes/cables, etc. It will clearly be expanded to create more apartments on upper floors. Payment was taken electronically in advance. We stayed for three nights and there was no cleaning and the garbage was not taken.
