The home was just perfect for our weekend stay to see family and go to the craft fair. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The owners communicated with us. They live onsite and we saw them throughout the weekend; kindly letting a family member park onsite to enjoy the short walk to the craft fair with us.

This property is located just 2 blocks from downtown Mt Dora! It’s an ideal location - close enough for shopping yet far enough away from the noise and traffic to relax in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and quickly replied to any text messages. The home is well stocked with linens, blankets, towels, pillows as well as a fully stocked kitchen. On site parking for 1 car. If staying in Mt Dora, check out this pet friendly property. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Mt. Dora is a wonderful destination and "Under Palms " was a great accommodation. It's a five-minute walk to all of Mt. Dora's shops, restaurants and activities. Our hosts were friendly and responded to all requests. You won't be disappointed!

Best way to put it. No problems

This adorable property is located literally two blocks from downtown. We often travel with another couple so the fact that both bedrooms had king beds was a big deal. There’s only one bathroom and it needs remodeling or refurbishing. The owner of fabulous. We would recommend the property and would stay there again.

Great place, perfect location

Our needs included no stairs, close to shopping and restaurants, quite area and comfort. This house met all of those needs and more. The kitchen had everything we needed, the furniture and beds were comfortable and it was a short walk to downtown for shopping and eating. Off the main street, it was quiet and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I want to be selfish and keep this place a secret. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and just a few blocks away from the heart of downtown Mt Dora and its cute shops and first-rate restaurants. Hosts are super-friendly, live next door and respond instantly to requests/issues. This was my third stay here; it won’t be the last.

The location of the property was very convenient to downtown. It was easy to find. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. When we arrived the air conditioner was set at the perfect setting for us so we didn't have to wait for the A/C to do it's job. LuAnne checked in on us and was super friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area! Thank you LuAnne!

I took my mom for the weekend. It’s a nice little guest house with comfy beds. My mom said she hasn’t slept that good in awhile. It’s in a quiet neighborhood that’s an easy walk to everything in town. The owners are a lovely couple who made our stay so nice. There was an issue (no fault of the owners) and they took care of it immediately and went above and beyond what was necessary to remedy it. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again.

Very close to downtown Mt Dora which is a great place to walk and enjoy restaurants and shopping. Owners were great to work with. Unit is very comfortable, including beds. Highly recommend this rental.

We had a friend come to Mount Dora and we rented this VRBO property for him. It was just perfect! It was clean, close to downtown and lake, and center of the walking area. The hosts were especially helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this place!!

Apartment is clean and well-maintained. TV, wifi easy to use/access. Owners live next door and respond immediately to requests/questions. Downtown Mt. Dora shops, restaiurants, etc. just a few short blocks away.

The property location was fabulous. It was two blocks from the center of town and five blocks from Lakeside Inn where we attended a family wedding. It was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, Palm Island Park and Boardwalk, and Grantham Pointe lighthouse. The house was well appointed for our needs. Both bedrooms had king size beds. There was plenty of storage and closet space in the house. The kitchen was small but well supplied. There were several board games as well as a book shelf stocked with romance novels. I enjoyed reading one outside while sitting in one of the two red adirondack chairs. The house can easily accommodate two couples or a family of four. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were very welcoming. We would certainly stay here again in the future if the opportunity arises. Melissa and Pat

Close to downtown

We enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect. It was an easy walk to everything. The hosts are right next door and very attentive to all our needs. What a great town!!

Loved everything about it except the tile flooring. My granddaughter who is 3 and a1/2 likes to go barefoot indoors. Her feet were black from the tile even though it looked very clean. We were wiping her feet clean numerous times. Maybe clean the tile with soap and water after it’s been swept.

The ideal place to stay when visiting Mt. Dora. Enjoyed meeting LuAnne and Randy.

My husband and I brought my visiting sister to Mount Dora for a long weekend at Under the Palms. We were perfectly satisfied with the unit and found it to be all that we needed and more. The location, walkable to downtown shops and restaurants, is ideal. LuAnne and Randy are lovely hosts and we will certainly look forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!

I needed a place to stay for a few days while my house got fumigated and it was right up the street! The place looked exactly as it was shown on the site. It was such a cute, warm, cozy place to stay and it felt like home. It is also a minute away from downtown mount dora and minutes away to get into town to run errands. I absolutely loved and enjoyed staying there especially with the king sized bed that you just sink into! The owners were incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable! So happy I found a place so close by!
