Our two-family group, including many kids, had a great stay! The house is very well equipped and in a beautiful, relaxing setting. We loved the fire pit and lake activities and appreciated proximity to town for grocery runs. Host is very communicative and thoughtful in making sure all our needs were met. Definitely recommend!

This lake house does not disappoint! It has everything a family/group could want to have for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful Maine setting! The host was super responsive and helpful. The house was comfortable, clean, spacious, and well supplied. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this has been one of our favorites for sure!

This home is well appointed and very clean.Lisa is an amazing host and readily available if needed.Private beach and lake was exceptional and enjoyed by all. The lake has sandy bottom and very clear water.Many outside areas to enjoy. Abundance of bath and beach towels available. Would recommend 100%.

First off I want to acknowledge how incredible of a host Lisa was. I had let her know that my stay was a long weekend with friends before I left for officer candidate school for the Navy. She is in full support of our military and troops and was so accommodating for us with a few special requests. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best possible weekend and was super communicative throughout the stay for any of our questions. The house is absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. It’s a quiet area right on a large pond with kayaks and canoes to use, a fire pit right by the water, and plenty of beds for guests to stay. If that’s what you’re looking for then look no further! Lisa is an amazing host and incredibly understanding. She truly wants her guests to have an incredible experience in her house and will do her best to make sure that happens. If I’m ever looking for a place to accommodate so many people again I’m definitely reaching back out to Lisa!

Celebrating our 50th anniversary with family. Grandkids 6 to 17 had lots of fun things to do. Great outdoor spaces. Nice water toys that everyone enjoyed. Lisa is a wonderful property owner. She thought of everything that is needed to make this a fun vacation. Needed more then one week at this vacation home. Thanks Lisa.

There were 15 of us young and older and we had a great time. You could fish off the dock and the kids and adults enjoyed the raft. You could relax in the water and the kids and adults got to water sking, tubbing and a tube called the Hot Dog. The house was comfortable and worked for us. Our host Lisa was fabulous and if there was a question on anything she got back to you quite quickly. .I most certainly would recommend their home.

Our family enjoyed our stay in a well furnished, super clean house, thanks Gina and family, with stunning gardens, lots of amenities to make our stay go well. Highlights on the property are a small, shaded beach with plenty of lounge chairs, a fire pit with a s’more station, lighted at night for safety, canoes and kayaks for all ages, and a dock, warm water for swimming. Exploring the connecting ponds, hearing the loons and observing pretty sunsets. Super friendly, responsive owner, Lisa, sent along yummy goodies from local bakery. Only big challenge was the many steps to the water for us elders.

Wonderful home with a very accommodating hostess. Relaxing & Restorative. We booked next year before the week was over.

Lisa was reached out and made everything so easy. Prepared extra beds to accommodate all the guests. Gave us an early check in and late check out. While it was raining the weekend we were there, the fire pit by the dock more than made up for it. Would highly recommend

We had such an amazing time at Lisa’s place!! Right on a beautiful lake!! So many bedrooms to accommodate many guests and dog friendly :) Lisa is so sweet, very communicative and made my wedding weekend one to remember! Definitely will be booking again!

Our family reserved this vacation property last year, and it was definitely worth the wait. The property owner, Lisa, was in touch with us and always available for questions and advice on the area. The home had all we needed to have our grandchildren safely enjoy their time with us. We had a nice Autumn vacation, with some nice public hiking trails only 2 minutes up the road. We really enjoyed paddling to The Hub, a local bistro breakfast and lunch spot, for lunch and a local draft beer. We also were able to enjoy the 3 ponds that are connected, and paddled them all. We saw an eagle, many loons, and mallards aplenty. The home is well set up to appeal to the interests of all. There is bocce ball, corn hole, and horse shoes. We enjoyed listening to the owls around the well designed and safe fire pit. The little secluded beach that is part of the property was extra special, especially at night when the stars were heavy! Lisa made us feel most welcome by decorating for Autumn and providing us with a gift basket with s’mores, pancakes, and coffee. We stayed 17 nights and were very well rested after our vacation. There are things to do off the property, if one feels the need to leave this oasis. We only went sight seeing 2 days of the 17. Thank you Lisa for sharing your home! Mike, Cindy, and Family

This property was beautiful inside and out. Lisa had exceptional communication and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The smore station and private beach made for a very relaxing time. The house was decorated impeccably and extremely clean. We really can not say enough about how perfect this property was.

Our group of 8 (and one toddler) had the best time at Lisa's place. It had enough room for all of us and everything was so clean and organized. Our friends had so much fun using the kayaks and canoes and the fire pit was the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the lake. The house was as described and beautifully maintained. Our group loves to cook and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed! We can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay at the Lanser property for our annual family Maine trip. The bedroom/ bathroom set-up was great for our large group - 8 adults and 7 children. The outside areas are beautifully appointed and we really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoes. We also brought our paddle board with us; the lake was especially lovely for paddling--it was like glass at times, and there are many little coves and islands to paddle around. Despite some rainy weather, we had a great time!

What an awesome property and amazing property owner, Lisa! There was every amenity available and more!! The Greenwood Lake was beyond our expectations. It's perfect for our family ranging in age from 1 to 70+ With all we have been through with Covid and the world situation, finding joy and peace at the Lake House was truly a blessing. So without question we want to return to this piece of heaven.

Lisa’s property is well maintained and with a full bathroom on all 3 floors, it was perfect for our group! The location was great, about 10 minutes or so from Bethel and right on South Pond. We spent most of our time in, on, or by the water enjoying the sandy bottom shallow water and sand bar. Lisa was a very attentive host, leaving a welcome package of s’mores kit, pancake mix, and maple syrup from her own maple trees. She also had fresh local baked goods delivered to the house! Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful, well-appointed home. We are a big cooking family and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lakefront area was outstanding, from fire pit to dock to beachfront. The area also offers outstanding hiking and swim holes. Lisa is a gracious and attentive host.

We were a family of 11, ranging in age from 75 to 5 and this house was perfect for us !! The house was even better than the photos. It was immaculate , beautifully decorated and so very very comfortable, Everything we could possibly want was provided- from cookware, dinnerware, and condiments to beach towels. and board games, There wasn't a single thing we needed that wasn't already provided, And the waterfront was packed with activity--docks and swim raft....2 canoes, 3 kayaks and life jackets galore..a Firepit and a hammock......and for the little ones.....a safe and private sandy beach a 2 minute stroll away. The location was quiet and peaceful and I loved the beautiful hydrangeas outside the house. outdoor shower was a plus too. Beds were comfy and could be arranged to your size preference, We have rented dozens of houses across the USA and overseas and Lisa, the owner, was by far, the most caring and easiest owner to work with. Her top priority was that we have a great vacation--and WE DID !! Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful home with us and a great week and for the "goodies"

House was spacious for our family of twelve. We enjoyed the beautiful fire pit every night, and the beach was great for our four grandchildren. The owner is very attentive. We didn’t have a lot of questions as everything is spelled out and clearly labeled. We appreciate that!

We had a great time at this Lake house. The home is in excellent condition. It is well equipped with everything you need for a fun week. The area has a lot of local hiking and some fun adventures . Our group like Frenchman’s hole and Maggie’s Nature Trail. Unfortunately a lot of other things were closed during the week ( mini golf, movie theater, mountain bike course, several restaurants ) ? Maybe due to COVID and lack of help? But we still had a wonderful time and made a lot of fun memories😊

The house we typically rented for our annual family vacation was sold and we were left scrambling to find another perfect location and we did! THE HOUSE: is beautiful. You can tell Lisa works hard to maintain it. We all felt it is much bigger than it appears in the photos. The rooms are spread out on 1st floor, 2nd floor and basement which gave everyone the space they needed. Each floor also had a bathroom which made everyone happy. We had 4 young children with us, 3-7 years old. They absolutely LOVED having their own “kids room” in the basement. Lisa was kind enough to add an extra twin bed to the kids room and there was still enough space for them to play. We also found it nice that the parent’s rooms (connected to the kids room) had doors to outside, which made it easy for the kids to return from the lake to change, without tracking through the whole house. Master bedroom was nice, as it has its own balcony! 2nd floor bathroom was everyone’s favorite! Faux king beds were comfortable and large. Rooms still had a lot of space with faux kings set up. Everything was clean and she provides nice linens and towels! A huge perk for us, as packing and unpacking/washing these once home is a pain. Kitchen is nice and appliances are good quality. Many times we were gathered around the large table in the dining room for meals, cards and board games. We also had dinners at the large table on the deck. My favorite spot in the house was the screened in porch! THE LAKE: is amazing. We always find it hard to find a lake house with an actual beach. With little kids this is important to us. The beach is big enough to play in the sand and has 6 or more lounge chairs. The best thing though is that the sand goes out very far with no drop off. It was a very nice spot for kids to play. There is a sandbar near the beach and the adults could actually touch the whole way to the sandbar. The dock is nice and we were able to park our boat at it. The floating dock was a HUGE hit with the kids. They actually spent more time on that than at the beach. There is an abundance of life jackets, 2 canoes and multiple kayaks. The fire pit was perfect. Many chairs and picnic table near fire was nice to have. Over head lights made it extra special at the fire! There are multiple stairs to get to the lake but this was not an issue for us or our elderly parents. Many boats (4th of July weekend) going through the channel near the dock. They do go slow and politely waved every time!

Not enough can be said about this beautiful lakefront home! The accessibility as well as the accommodations made this a perfect stay for my family and the family with whom we traveled. The house was so well equipped for all ages and especially young children. The whole property was exquisite as far as landscaping and décor, not to mention the natural beauty of the trees and lake. The owner was always able to answer all questions in a timely manner and made sure we felt comfortable at her property. She also included the sweetest welcome bag which was above and beyond anything we expected! 5 stars all around!!

We had an amazing time, and Lisa was incredibly gracious host! The property was even better in person, and the lake was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating for our large group, and was extremely responsive leading up to the trip. We will definitely be returning!

This would be a wonderful home to use as the base for a vacation at any time, but during COVID it was a gem. We had all the perks of being on a family vacation yet felt that we were no sacrificing health-safety in any way. My 2 young adult sons, my husband and I spent a relaxing 4 days at this lovely home. As a fellow VRBO owner, I appreciate all the details that make this home such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Lisa, the home's owner could not have been warmer or more helpful! The lakeside setting is beautiful - the fall foliage was at is peak and the weather was warm enough to allow us to go canoeing and kayaking, a highlight of the trip. The nearby waterfalls at Grafton Notch State Park was also a great outing as was the hike along the Appalachian Trail (has various difficulty levels). We spent the evenings happily reading and just being together by the fire in the living room. We look forward to returning with friends and family during the summer, as I was not brave enough to go swimming in October, but the home land lake left us wanting to come back soon. Just what we needed to end the summer was a stay at this beautiful lake home! The property was spacious, clean and right on the lake. We had access to everything you could need to have relaxing vacation. Lisa was extremely responsive and fantastic to work with. We will definitely be a repeat customer!!!!

It was just as we had hoped for when we arrived. A house on a beautiful lake in the late summer with fishing, canoes and kayaks and a beach to relax. Whether sitting by the beach, laying in the hammock by the lake, sitting around the fire at the s’mores station, or relaxing in the screened porch area.. you were always comfortable and safe. The description of the amenities provided by the owner is spot on .. bocce, horseshoes, corn hole , Kayaks and canoes, WiFi and Satellite TV, all were in great condition and used them all. Our party had 5 couples which the 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths fit perfectly. Lisa, the property owner was always accessible, checked in frequently by text to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and if we had any questions and provided a welcome package including a S’mores making kit and more to ensure our time by the fire pit was enjoyable. Very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with the typical things you would need for cooking in, which we took advantage of the entire week. If you are looking for that place you always wanted to take the family to just enjoy the simpler pleasures.. you won’t be disappointed. It exceeded my expectations and I expect it will for you as well. Don’t forget to bring your fishing poles, my daughter caught a 7lb bass one morning from the canoe.. just one of the memories that will last for me long after our stay at this wonderful house.. highly recommend, would book again.

Lisa's communication and special care during this pandemic time were the icing on the cake of this spectacular lake home and our family vacation there. I was treated like a dear friend in this process. Not only did Lisa take her time explaining all of the specific Covid-cleaning protocols, she checked in frequently, dropped by a blue-berry pie and fresh baked bread. This was in addition to leaving us all the makings for S'mores and pancakes. This home truly was complete in all ways. The canoes, kayaks, private beach, floating swim dock made being on the lake ideal. The home's screened porch was the perfect hang-out spot. Our family of 9 ate comfortably at the table and there were so many places to be in the home, we felt at peace with the comfort, never in each other's way. There are trails nearby that we walked to and we also enjoyed the outdoor games, particularly Corn Hole. The outdoor shower, amazing grill and fully stocked kitchen added to the ease of our week. I highly recommend this beautiful home.
